The pool is small and usually filled with large families. No elevator and 16 steps to the first floor is not good when you have bad hips.

Was loud due to construction. Convenient, easily walkable.
10.0 / 10.0
Location is great as its 3 blocks from the ocean and 2 blocks to most of the gay bars and clubs. Plenty of stores around for shopping and the hotel room sizes are good. Only stairs so be mindful of that. But for the price its definitely worth it

Great location for activities in the zona romantica. AC worked well, daily room service, front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Only one key per room which was an inconvenience. Also WiFi barely worked. But a great option if your budget conscious and spending most of your time out and about.

It was loud because of the jeeps that take people around , it was convient and great staff. Location for us was great , we wore headphones to sleep and had no issues. Other than the pool no amenities but you can walk outside and get everything you need , close to bus stop and make on.

I would not stay at this property again unfortunately. The first room we were given had cockroaches which I went down to front desk to let them know. The guy who was working the front desk was asleep and snoaring as I was waiting in the lobby for about 20 minutes. He finally had came out and apologized according to him it had been a long night. I got the room changed 3 times and all three times, there were cockroaches in every single room. Complete infestation in the hotel. According to front desk staff, they sprayed and we would see dead ones however all the ones we saw were very alive and in the crevices of the bed, and the dressing cabinets. Soo gross!!

Everything is great for the price. Front rooms are VERY loud during the night and early morning.

The staff in general was very good. My particular house keeping person did not do her job very well and even did nothing some days. I made the front desk aware of the situation and they were surprised because the house keeper had signed off as doing the work.

It’s not a 5 star resort but it’s really budget friendly if you don’t need all the finer things on vacation.

It was good
Location but the wifi is very poor. I was travelling for 5 days and hoping that I could still work and open my email during the night, the walkroom pipe smelled so bad.

The property was not at all the way it showed in the pictures. The swimming pool was only a bit bigger than a large jacuzzi and there was barely any room to sit around it. Little sun hit it because it was surrounded by the rooms that were 5 floors.
There was no elevator and we were on the 4th floor. No one helped with suitcases , we had to carry them all the way up and down. We only received two towels and we had to trade them in if we wanted new clean ones. We had to pay a deposit for the remote control to the tv.
A good thing was that it was close to the beach and we didn't have to stay in much, except after walking around, we definitely were not happy to walk up four floors after a tiring day walking already,

Great location just 3 blocks to the beach. You definitely get your steps in if youre on the top floor but i didnt mind that. Rooms are good size and pool area is nice. Staff was friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend for price and location

Close to bus stop to Boca De Tomatlan. Walking distance to food, beach, and shops

I have a room by the street and it’s very loud. Pillows suck too.

Location was good. Very noisy and very no frills so prepare for that. Would be great if closets could be added to room to hang things and hand towels be given. Priced right for budget hotel.

One night stay before we moved to Bucerias. Good location for seeing Zona Romantica. Rooms are very basic and don’t look like they have ever been updated. Reasonably clean. Probably the loudest night I’ve ever had, road and city/club noise. Worked for one night but could not have stayed longer. Friendly staff

Old.

The rooms did not have a mini-fridge, despite what the photos show online. The pool is in the shade with no sunlight, so its very cold no matter how warm the weather is outside. We were on the 4th floor - so 61 steps up and down throughout the day was a trial all on its own!

Was looking for a clean, safe, basic hotel room. That’s what I got. No elevator, but I knew that from the ad. The safe in the room was a nice bonus. Older hotel but housekeeping was on top of everything and the staff were all friendly. Plenty of hot water once you let the water run for a bit. Location was great for bars, restaurants. Beach an easy walk. Would definitely return for the price.

Clean and friendly hotel. Some of the bathrooms are cramped and difficult to use. Signs of mould/water leak in bathroom, safes did not all work, no lounge chairs to get sun on the decks, and the close proximity to highway and bars can make some rooms louder than others. Location is great for entertainment,24 hr desk, and lovely staff.

Rules about friends visiting TOO RESTRICTIVE and ridiculous! Also they tell you to bring back ONLY the TV remote to get back your deposit when you first check in. Then when you check out they stress you out by saying we also need the remote control for the AC!!! I mean seriously???!!!! — what freaking crazy tourist would want to steal a very old/defective TV remote or AC unit remote control??!!! Then they say — you must wait longer for our staff to check to make sure you did not take our towels! OMG?! Who would want to take your VERY OLD, TORN, fading, stained-looking towels??!!! Such a ghetto hotel! It should be called Hotel Hacienda Ghetto Motel for desperados! :( Never ever staying there again and EXPEDIA should be penalized for adding such a hotel on its list of choices !!!

I was nervous because the hotel is on a busy street, but I lucked out with a room at the back and it was great. You can’t be anywhere in the middle of Zona Romantica that won’t be noisy. It is an old, economy hotel, but it’s clean and my room was very comfortable. And the staff were friendly and very helpful.

The staff were fantastic, room was very clean. If you prefer a quieter vacation this area can be a little loud. All and all, I would recommend!

We were booked to stay 2 nights, we stayed 1. We didn't sleep at all. Felt like sleeping on the sidewalk, so loud with cars, music, dogs barking, people nearby talking and yelling. Internet did not work well at all and we have Verizon. Didn't matter if we were connected to their unsecure wifi or not. We had to walk down a block to get Uber and book another hotel. We also had to walk up 6 flights of stairs with all of our bags. The lobby and pool are nice, which makes you think the rest is.

Rooms were not comfortable you could hear the cleaning ladies at 7:00AM walking around brushing the floors.
We only had one plug for the whole room. We could either hook up the TV fridge or charge our phones on that one plug.
They would only give you a towel if you took a towel and if you didn’t they’d make you sign some paper work for ONE towel.
Beds were not comfortable sheets were not comfortable and they are not responsible for lost or stolen items in your room when the cleaning crew goes in to clean. Like what🙄.

Great location, bring earplugs, a very busy road

Clean well maintained older hotel in the romantic zone of PV. There is no handicap access and stairs to the upper floors. The hotel room was on the upper floor but there is still frequent road noise from traffic and nearby clubs. The staff is friendly. The room has basic amenities such as soap and shampoo. The bed and pillows are adequate with moderate to firm support. It is a clean safe hotel at a decent price

It is an old building and the rooms are quite small, beds hard, water cold, walls thin, etc. Nothing unusual for the area and the views are very pretty. It's a really cute place for the location and price. Would recommend.

My room was small and uncomfortable with no place to sit, rest and barely room to move around. It was clean in appearance, but the bed was likely the worst I've had at any hotel, and the general condition of my room was poor. Staff were either dismissive or uninterested and one in particular was hateful. I have stayed here before in a larger room and it was in better condition and more comfortable, but the single rooms in the back section are miserable except for air conditioning (that smelled of smoke).

The room was dirty when we first arrived; used nasty bandaid on the floor, and there was a ton of dirt and long black hairs on the floor. I had purchase a broom to get all the gross off the floor. The bathroom smelled horribly of urine and even a bottle of bleach didn’t help much.
It was extremely noisy due to being right on 200! Earplugs helped a little but had a horrible time sleeping the week I was there. Will not stay here again.

For the budget minded traveller this hotel is an excellent option in a great location. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The hotel is very clean and has two very nice outdoor patio space on levels 3 and 4. One of the nicest things is for the first time ever over the years I’ve been travelling to PV I had a hot shower every single time, and the water pressure was excellent too!

Very old. Narrow hallways. No hand towel in room. Bathroom full of small flies. Hard beds. Only good thing was free bottled water.

Clean. Several nice areas to sit outside your room.

Hotel was ok. Mold in shower. Towels & sheets very clean. Help was very friendly. Liked that they had filtered water. Chairs but no table in room. No hooks or rods to hang clothes or wet towel. Great location. Great price.

For what you pay its worth the money. Just remember you get what you pay for. Hotel is close to what ever its you need.
To bad they dont have a bar or restaurant on site as they have more then enough room to do so.

The location was excellent. Avoid staying street side if you can. It was very noisy. Choose an inside room. The shower was amazing. Hot water and high pressure. It would be great if the room had a refrigerator but I knew it didn’t when I booked. Friendly staff. 1 outlet in the room to charge my phone and that was next to the door. An inside room and a mini fridge would have made it much better for me.
