Warm, friendly welcome following helpful pre-arrival communication re the restaurant and food options. We had a lovely stay at this property, our first time at Loch Ness and most eager for it not to be our last! Cosy lounges where we enjoyed platters of smoked salmon, white wine and cheeses paired with whiskey all in front of a roaring fire. Perfect! Comfy beds, lots of hot water and a delicious breakfast all topped off with outstanding customer service, nothing too was much trouble.

Excellent location with beautiful views of the lake. Only 20min south from Inverness, 5min north of the Urquhart castle and the quaint town of Drumnadrochit. Convenient to explore Glen Affric and local rivers. Beautiful inn, do not confuse it with similar-named hotels, this one (Loch Ness Lodge) is the 5-star property and well worth it! Very friendly inn keeper and server for the excellent included breakfast. Comfortable cozy room, lounges to relax by the fire with a whisky and read a book.

This place! Such a hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like kings. The manager upgraded is to their loveliest room, our every request was accomodates, we were given some free perks on the house - it was amazing. And we weren't the only couple there - we saw 4 other couples, and everyone loved the place. We had charcuterie by the fire for dinner - venison, salmon, cheeses, crackers, fruit, oatcakes & the best red wine... bkfst was included & was homecooked. We absolutely loved it here!

The Loch Ness Lodge was part of a three week driving trip. I’ve waited until the end to do the review to see if we found any other place that ticked all the boxes in the same way or better. We were warmly and professionally treated by each and every staff member (from the general manager to the breakfast servers) from the initial greeting to the hugs goodbye. This small hotel is exceptional in comfort, views, warmth and friendliness of each and every person on the staff to the best breakfast in Scotland! We loved sitting in one of the two salons where the fire was always going to enjoy wine, whiskey and friendly, informative conversations. We loved it so much that we extended our stay and considered canceling some plans in order to return before we left Scotland! The overall “feeling” of Loch Ness Lodge and its remarkable staff is unparalleled! We will return!

Our stay at Loch Ness Lodge was perfect. Lovely comfortable rooms with a great view of the loch, generous staff and an excellent breakfast. We stayed one night and it was wonderful. We were met at our car and helped in with our luggage. We were given a bottle of Prosecco and some fudge and while relaxing by the fireplace we were given information about the breakfast and our rooms. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! This place has top notch service and everyone working there bent over backwards to get us anything we needed. I would highly recommend a stay here!

If I could give the staff a rating of 10 out of 5, I would. Jaro was the concierge who took care of us in the evening and he was amazing!!! Not only helped with check in but then his knowledge on local whisky was phenomenal. I cannot recommend this hotel more. We stayed at 6 hotels in 8 nights and this was the highlight, not just because the property was beautiful but because the service was so amazing. THANK YOU JARO!!!!

This is a gorgeous property in the area with impeccable service and a wonderful staff. Unfortunately the first day we were there both water pumps blew and we had no water when we woke up. It was not anyone’s fault, and the manager was kind and thoughtful In helping us make plans to leave because that was not a quick fix. Without this problem the stay would have been excellent.

This is probably one of the cutest places I’ve ever stayed. It’s really a luxury bed and breakfast but it really feels cozy inside. We were in the main lodge with a room that had the most beautiful view of Loch Ness. It’s walking distance to the ramp for Jacobite cruises so that is a plus. The best part of our experience was the staff. If I could rate them an 11 out of 10 I would. The breakfast was amazing as well. 100 percent recommend this place if you’re going to Loch Ness.

This is one of the best properties in Lochness area, In fact one of the best in Scotland as we are on a road trip around Scotland. We were met at the entrance by Jarov who was one of the friendliest staff I ever met at any hotel. he was nice, gave lot of recommendations about what to do in this area and helped us with our luggage. Please give Jarov a huge pay rise.

A wonderful property right on the water. We stayed in one of their new private cabins which are absolutely stellar with floor-to-ceiling windows with a view of the harbor and a private patio with sitting area. The room has another sitting area with a mini-fridge. Luxurious robes, towels, and bedding complete the feeling of being totally pampered. We wished we could have stayed longer.

We had a pleasant stay at Loch Ness Lodge. We were welcomed by Gabriel and a cozy fire. Our room, Phadrig, was large, comfortable and overlooking Loch Ness. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub with shower. Stepping into the tub may be an issue if mobility impaired. It was under a 20 minutes drive to Inverness. The complete staff and food were wonderful. Staff were friendly, professional and provided us with great information while staying our three nights.

Loch Ness Lodge has the most surreal setting, perched on a beautifully landscapex hillside overlooking the lake. The staff is impeccable offering a warm, gracious welcome. Rooms are stunningly appointed with sumptuous bedding. Views from the study, the lounge and the dining room are amazing. A full Scottish breakfast awaits in the morning. Wish we could have stayed linger. Next time!

This is such a special spot with gorgeous views. Jaro and Gabriel were so attentive and gave us wonderful tips for things to do. The food was delicious too- great breakfasts and platters served by the fire. And the shortbread is sublime! A must do stop while passing through Loch Ness.

Without hyperbole, our stay here was like walking into a dream. The property is elegant in every detail and yet completely integrated with the setting. The weather was variable during our stay (it IS Scotland), and we found we could relax in our room and watch the moods pass over the loch, from sunshine and bright color to an almost frosty-seeming monochrome. The host and staff were attentive to every detail and completely dedicated to making our stay special. The breakfasts were among the best we have had anywhere, and while there is only one dinner restaurant in walking distance, we found it more than adequate. If you are driving near this area I very much recommend you make time for a stay at this wonderful property.
