Check in great. Staff helpful. Parked in lot behind. Stayed in a two bedroom. Needs upgrading but space large enough for 5. Overall okay for cost but may look elsewhere. Not sure of the smaller rooms however. Whiskey bar looked nice.

So they have a hard checkout time of 11 am. If you get late , they will charge you 20 pounds for each hour delay, which is completely fine but they will not tell you about this policy until you are late for checkout. A person will come at your door at 11:15 am and tell you that you will be charged 20 pounds an hour. If you have such strict rules for checkout atleast give a heads up when customers check in

Beautiful facilities and great restaurants with friendly staff. Our room was in desperate need of a remodel. The ceiling leaked into the living room area (which was more concerning since we were ground level with rooms above us) and carpet and lighting certainly needed updated. Overall, it was an okay location.

This property was not at all as it appears on the outside. It looks cute and fun and nice, but once we got our apartment, it was completely different. Everything is wrong. Our ceiling had a leak that we made them aware of. They said maintenance had already left so it’ll until tomorrow. No one ever came. We had mugs and pots in the ground to collect the drops of water. Too much to type here. But I would NEVER recommend this property to anyone!

Not easy to access the place to check in We arrived at 2.30pm hoping our 3 rooms would be ready. Told they might be soon and to come back in an hour. After returning, told the check in was 4pm and the rooms were still being cleaned. Returning at 4pm they were still not available. Did not get into them until just after 5pm. Not a great start for a one night stay.
Reception said they would pass my concerns to manager. Next morning I asked if she had talked to manager and told no. He was in a staff meeting and was unavailable but she could give me his number to call later. I eventually asked where the meeting was, as I was not leaving before speaking to him. I had to go and get him as the receptionist wouldn't. We discussed the wait time checking in as check out was 11am and we didn;t get in until after 5pm. 6 hours to clean rooms ?? I told him I had taken pictures of the cobwebs all over the bedroom ceiling which definitely did not mean they were cleaned. He gave us a 30% discount on each room but the way the whole thing was handled by reception was totally unacceptable. Kudos for the discount but would not recommend this place at all. Reception were so rude and couldn't care less.

Super loud squeaky floors- could hear people walking all night above us but great location!

We loved the apartment- spacious, clean, beautiful kitchen. We arrived later so we were not able to eat at the restaurant. A flight of stairs to get into the apartment- no lift. Great big bathtub, large comfortable beds. We wished we could have stayed longer.

We loved staying at here. The distillery and bar made for easy hanging out before bed. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable.

Wouldnt stay here again, apartment 1 is in disrepair. Ripped, dirty carpets and uncomfortable beds. Disspointing! When i brought it up at checkout, they just agreed that the apartment is run down!

Loved the east walk to city center and all the upgrades around the property. The waterside, their on site restaurant was disorganized and at the end of the stay, there were several charges to our account that did not belong to us. The staff members at check out got it all sorted. Other than the on-site restaurant, this was a wonderful place to stay!

Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. We stayed in apartment 11, there was a layer of dirt/dust everywhere and it smelt musty. The kitchen floor had been ‘repaired’ with duct tape and the living room carpet had stains all over it. It is a converted big house into smaller flats and you could hear the people upstairs moving about/flushing the toilet etc.
Advertised as child friendly but all the coffee table/dressing tables had movable glass tops on them and there was an open fire with concrete all around it & no fireguard. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time and there was stains on the bedding. I booked just a few days in advance and for the price I paid for one night (£250) it was shocking!

We stayed in apartment 10. It is in need of repairs, cleaning and updating. The shower was gross. The towels were old and threadbare. You could hear upstairs neighbors way too easily. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. It is conveniently located and has free parking, otherwise completely overpriced for what you get.

Our stay was wonderful. We loved being so close to the River Ness and it’s beautiful walking paths. The Glen Mhor is also close to the center of town for easy access to food and shopping. One thing that would have been nice in our apartment was working windows in the dining and lounge area. It was very hot with no way to open the windows for relief as they were sealed shut and the sliding door was locked.

Very well located, apartment itself very spacious and clean. Was lacking supplies and when I asked at desk for basic supplies they were not helpful or friendly at all. The area around the apartment/courtyard/alley the entire week we were there was constantly filled with litter. Regardless of those minor things we enjoyed our stay.

May 2023, this hotel is run down, damp and outdated BUT during our stay we discovered it has a new management team and I have high hopes for the future. On the plus side, the location is brilliant and the staff are friendly.
Currently, the apartments are sad, grubby and mouldy. Due to problems with the apartments, we stayed in three units during our six day visit. The bones of this place are good. It’s a vast, historic local stone building. But Wi-Fi is terrible, all the interior apartments look into the neighboring homes windows, the bathrooms and kitchens are worn out… the bedrooms are cramped and their are no luggage racks or furniture to put cases on.
Deeply wish we had booked elsewhere.

We loved our stay in Inverness and it was made more pleasant staying at the Glen Mhor. Overlooking the river, nice friendly helpful staff, lovely breakfast each day, warm and comfortable room. Will return again on our next visit.

The aparmtent was really nice. We arrived early and were abke to check in a little bit earlier aswell. We found all the staff we spoke to really helpful. The partment was clean and tidy and contained everything we needed. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

What a lovely place! We were impressed with the cleanliness, the comfort, the kindness of all staff and the great location! We stayed in one of the apartments and
would stay there again! The hotel restaurant is delicious and we highly recommend. We have only great things to say about this lovely place!

we rent a 2 bedroom apartment for comfort. unfortunately the boiler was not working and it was not possible to shower, so we decided to take a walk to give time to do the maintenance, when we returned there was still no hot water and I returned to reception who informed me that the maintenance would work only the next day! !! they wanted to offer us a dinner in exchange, but I asked for a similar apartment to exchange, as we needed a shower, since we had traveled more than 12 hours. so they lent us a room to shower, the most humiliating thing I've ever been through! to get to that room, I had to go through the restaurant and out of it… in addition to the discomfort of taking a shower and having to go to the apartment, it felt like I was camping and taking a shower as a favor. bad solution. humiliating!

The property enjoys a convenient and picturesque location. Our apartment was spacious but needed a little updating. The staff were very attentive to our needs, for which we are most grateful.

Alright for an overnight, decent rate and free parking but the layout is odd and I am not sure I would use it as a base for a week.
3.0
Excellent sized rooms/apartments but the property is undergoing extensive renovation which resulted in quite a bit of disruption - particularly in the car park.

I believe the hotel is in the middle of a refit (23.10.21). The apartment itself had everything you’d need for a comfortable stay.
Furnishings require fixing up but I’m sure these will be completed once refit is completed

We had an apartment . It was everything but “riverside” though. On one side of the apartment was a fairly trafficked road (just outside our bedroom window) on the other, literally next door, a construction site. On the first night it was way too cold and the heat didn’t work. We went to the reception and were told that if the neighbors turn of the boiler off, our heat didn’t work either. However it was too late to ask them to turn it on. We were given two electrical radiators we had to carry back ourselves. One of them worked. There were holes between the floorboards in the kitchen so you literally saw outside trough them. So no wonder it was cold. We had a 7 month old baby with us and we had been given no comforter for his cot so he had to sleep between us to keep him warm. Twice during our stay did we ask the reception about the heat but in only worked once. The waiting time for the very simple continental breakfast was long, 35 minutes. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was big and the kitchen fully equipped. The shower curtain was very dirty though. The common areas of the hotel were very nice and looked newly refurbished.

On arrival at no. 11 we were met with an outside area which was dirty and unusable. The door required 2 hands to open the door - which hasn’t been painted in years. On entry to the property the carpets were stained, the flooring tiles in the kitchen area were cracked, broken & covered with duct tape. The rest was tired & average.

They said there is car parking facility at the compound. But when I got there they asked me to park my car road side if the parking space is available. Otherwise we have to find out a convenient space to park our car. After parked our car on road side I struggled to get my stuffs to the room.

We arrived late due to travel delays and had a very simple check-in process. Apartment was nice, clean and easy to use. Location is a very short walk to shopping.

Tired mouldy bathroom suite with mould on lights. Really let the place down. Good sized apartment with amenities but tired. Car park is on stones and not well spaced. Witnessed two separate times another car bumped into a parked car. Needs a refresh.

It was an amazing stay and we enjoyed the hotel so much, looking forward to be there agian.

The hotel was located in the city centre and was very handy for getting around. The apartment was a little dated but otherwise spacious and suited for what we needed.
The only two grumbles I woukd have is that there wasn't enough on-site parking due to groundworks. This meant parking was a bit hit and miss. The other thing was there was insufficient capacity for breakfast which meant if you did not book early the previous day you had to take the time slit which was left.

We used to stay here partly because of the extremely convenient parking but not so - for the next couple of years. The owner is building a micro-brewery and an electricity generator (we are advised) and access to the large carpark is now a free-for-all, meaning if you arrive after 2pm you'll be lucky to get a space. Such a shame. Staff seem rather disinterested.
2.5
We stayed in apartment 11 which is family sized and on ground level. Lovely, well equipped and comfortable space... my only issue was with the length of time the oven took to heat up! Othet than that, we all loved our stay and will be back!

Brilliant location, accommodation very good, staff polite and friendly. Apartment very clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment. Word of caution the ceiling was very low in bathroom it does not accommodate people above 6”2 standing straight so avoid apartment 8 if you are tall or be prepared to stoop. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

I stayed in Apartment 11 for 3 nights (visit related to essential work). Information provided prior to the visit re: parking, check-in etc. was good. I was happy with the contact-free check-in. The apartment was reasonably clean, though attention to detail could have been better. The main living and kitchen area was quite dark after daylight hours - the only lights were from a ceiling light. Additional kitchen lights and a table lamp or two would have helped greatly. The kitchen was adequately equipped for a few nights stay. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom had a shower over a bath, both good, and a nice big sink. The extractor fan was quite noisy. I had a problem with the entry card system and was locked out one day, but this was promptly resolved after a phone call and a replacement card picked up from reception. Overall not outstanding but reasonable value in the current circumstances.

Arrived to find the apartment did not have the full oven as described at time of booking. The lad on reception changed us to a different apartment. The quality of the apartments clearly vary somewhat, which has made me less keen to book again.

We booked a 2 bed apartment as travelling with our young daughter, having separate bedrooms and living room/kitchen facilities was ideal for us for keeping milk/breakfast/dinner items as we would always be back early. On arrival we were told our apartment was up a lane so we had to carry all our suitcases/cot/buggy etc a distance to firstly get in to our apartment, the lane it was in was quite dark and in that first night we got put on edge by a man standing in the lane watching us when we were leaving. The gate also didnt have a lock on it which meant anyone could come in the back yard and look in the bathroom window which had no curtains or enter the unlocked mattress store in the rearyard. the table/worktop had not seen any attention in a long time, there was a large burn mark on the carpet and the bed was very uncomfortable. We were staying 3 nights, in the morning after the first night we left and didn't come back until around 7:30pm, there was a pair of knickers outside the apartment that had appeared since the last night. I felt unsafe so we put a slab up at the gate so we would know if anyone tried to come in, within 10 minutes someone knocked the brick over, reception was helpful and moved us to suite on the top floor and gave us a complimentary meal as we had lost our cooking facilities. However we booked that room for these specific amenities which we only had for one day. The apartment let's down the hotel and unfortunately we will not return.

Apart from check in where there was a very long queue and wait, we enjoyed our stay. The apartment we stayed in was well equipped and comfortable but could do with an upgrade.Overall, our stay was good and value for money.

Bad Covid practice, apartment unclean, very old and just not that nice. Not at all like the pictures. Very disappointed,
