I stayed at this Riad for 3 days, and from the warm welcome to the heartfelt goodbye, the service was impeccable. In 50 years of travel, I’ve never experienced such a friendly, customer-focused atmosphere. The location near the centre of Medina was ideal, and the interior design was beautiful. My room was spotless and cleaned daily, the rooftop was stunning, and the breakfast on it was excellent. I also enjoyed a top-notch massage. Special thanks to Laurence, Said, Soufiane, Asnah, Fatimazahara, and Warda for making this stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Charme d'Orient was fantastic. The Riad itself was beautiful, the entire staff was extremely helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Marrakech. On top of that, the location was great with easy access to the core of the Medina while still being a peaceful space to retreat and relax in the evenings.

I’m going to repeat pretty much what all other reviews have said; just a great place to stay and so glad we chose Charme D’Orient for our stay in Marrakesh. Laurence, Said and the other staff were just fabulous. Nothing like coming back from shopping at the Souk to be greeted with a smile and a ‘mint tea?’ Breakfast on the roof terrace was lovely, rooms were really well furnished and good kept spotlessly clean. They offer dinner with notice, and it’s really good food. Wine can be bought with dinner but due to strict alcohol regulations in the Medina only beer can be bought at other times. Not that this spoilt our stay in any way! Treatments are offered too. We felt really spoilt and thoroughly ‘on holiday’

An outstanding and exceptional experience! Location: amazing and walking distance to all the main attractions in the Medina. Property: spotless, gorgeous decoration, amazing smell through all the diffusers in the property. Room: unlimited amount of amenities, extremely quiet, beautiful bathroom, tons of "goodies" provided in the room, luxurious linens. The owner (on site): A six stars experience thanks to the kindness and generosity of Laurence, the owner. She can't do enough to provide her guests with the most memorable experience! Whatever is "needed" recommendations' wise whereas it is an excursion, a restaurant, some shopping needs or any shape or form of requests within our stay, she provides the best advices, service and always with a smile and so much graciousness. The staff: Said who is on site "24/7"provided us (and there again always with a smile and with so much kindness) with the most amazing and luxurious experience. Kicking the day with asking us what we would like to breakfast (such breakfast being nothing short of delicious and only made with the freshest products) to offering us all over our stay and countless times the best morrocan mint tea, Said can't do enough! We hadn't time to experience more of the services offered by the Riad (Hamman experiences, cuisine on site offering lunches) but we will be back for sure to further experience the outstanding hospitality and the second to none service and experience catered by Laurence and her staff.

This lovely riad is in an excellent location with everything close by, there is also an amazing driver who is always on time to the minute if you need to go anywhere further. The riad is very clean, quiet and comfortable. It is a lovely place to relax after a long day with a room terrace, plunge pool and jacuzzi. The rooms have air condition which is great especially with high temperatures outside. The breakfast is lovely with lots of fresh selection. The team are extremely attentive and nothing is too much for them! I can’t recommend this riad enough :)

It was our second trip to Marrakesh after a hotel stay previously. This was a completely different experience. We knew it would be situated in the medina and so ordered a transfer from the airport which worked very well. The riad was just as it looks in the photo-very traditional, very well furnished and a delightful breakfast served either in the dining room or on the roof terrace depending on the weather. Saeed was very helpful organising a trip to the Atlas Mountains and escorting us to a nearby restaurant one evening. The owner was also delightful and spent a long time chatting to us. We look forward to returning to Morocco.

We chose to stay at Riad Charme D’Orient based on reviews and we are so happy that we did! This was our first time in Morocco/ Marrakech and we will absolutely look to stay here again when we return. The owner and staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay, from checking in every time we arrived and left, saying hello when we passed them on the street, helping us arrange taxis, and walking us exactly where we needed to go when we first arrived. So much so that at times we felt as though we were the only guests there in a good way! The rooftop breakfast was also a huge highlight of our trip. After staying in other Riads in other Moroccan cities, we can confirm that this Riad is the one of the best ones we stayed in our whole trip. Overall, we would definitely recommend this Riad to anyone visiting Marrakech!

This was our first experience of both Marrakesh and Morocco. We had the most amazing time and that was in no small part to this wonderful riad.
The building is beautiful. The location is fabulous and the staff amazing. They were all very friendly and helpful. Full of local knowledge and recommendations. Even walking us to places when we couldn’t find our way.
The breakfast was a lovely touch and eating it on their roof made the experience all the better.
If and when we return to Marrakesh, this will definitely be the first place we check on for availability.

Riad Charme d’Orient was a calm and beautiful oasis in the middle of a bustling area. The staff went above and beyond at all times. We ate amazing breakfasts and dinner on the lush and quiet roof deck, and even experienced a luxurious massage. The Riad is walking distance to countless sites, restaurants and souks as well as Jemaa el-Fnaa. The overall decor and cleanliness was exceptional. Highly recommend!

If you want a VIP experience and treatment in Marrakech then I highly recommend this Riad. Breakfast served every morning and it is a feast! They treat everyone with such care we were so sad to leave! A once in a lifetime experience. If you are looking for a place to stay look no further. From the conversations before we arrived to the welcome and the hospitality, we felt quite at home at Riad Charme d’Orient. Said and his wife were wonderful with us as was his brother Soufiyan. Laurence, the owner, was also very friendly and hospitable. They all made us feel as if we’re being hosted by a lovely family.
We came to relax and take each day as it comes and we got just that.

Everything about this riad was absolutely wonderful! The owner and staff were so kind, courteous and accommodating. From the food to the actual rooms, everything was delicious and wonderfully decorated. Staff was litterally cleaning all day everyday to make sure things were always tidy and comfortable. The hammam and the Massages were top tier! I stayed for a total of 7 days and it was such a relaxing time. It is located so close to everything in the Medina so it made it easy to go to activities. I would highly recommend this riad!

Soufiane welcomed us into her riad and gave us excellent advice for our three days in Marrakesh.
Said helped with our taxi and told us about his home in the Atlas Mountains which was very interesting. The evening staff were so helpful and when we arrived soaking wet was offered a mint tea to warm up.
The room was serviced beautifully and everything was clean.

Just had a 4 night stay in Marrakesh which is a vibrant City, with interesting historical sites and souks you could loose yourself in.
We spent our time in this tradition Riad inside the Medina walls and within good walking distance of the major sites. Yet set in a quiet street, so you can hide yourself from it all and relax. Our room was lovely with good air conditioning and heating if required, you get a traditional breakfast with the room and can order traditional food if you wish. Though nice places to eat out.
The staff our great and always helpful from sorting excursions which we took advantage of and they were all very good. Laurance is your host and is lovely and welcoming. Then there's CouCou the African grey parrot.
The Riad has a small plunge pool, Jacuzzi and Herman and massage service on site.
All in all if you want a traditional Riad within old Marrakesh I personally don't think you could do better. So I'd book it while you can as this somewhat hidden gem will leave you relaxed and smiling

I decided to book this Riad firstly because it looked gorgeous from the photos and because of the fabulous reviews so I had high expectations but even my high expectations were exceeded. The Riad is beautiful and spotlessly clean, the breakfast was really good and the location is tucked away but within walking distance of the Medina. What really made our trip though was how welcoming and helpful Laurence, Said and Soufiane were. We were made to feel very at home and looked after. Marrakech is a crazy place but the Riad is a lovely tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We stayed at the riad for our honeymoon for a week. This is the best hotel we ever stayed at. And we didn’t want to leave!
The riad is beautiful and sparkling clean. Just by entering you can smell rose scent. The breakfast is delicious and beautifully arranged. There are not many rooms in the riad, so feels like we own the entire place.
The staffs are friendly and helpful. They gave us many great suggestions of where to eat and shop. They also arranged transport, laundry, tour, and massage/Hamman for us. It’s a bit challenging to arrange the trip in Marrakech, but the hotel staff made our trips so smooth and perfect!
The hotel helped us to book us an Atlas mountain tour. We got to meet so many locals, went to a traditional Berber market, had tea at locals home. It was so fun and authentic (Pro tips do this tour on Friday so you can see the Berber market)
Staying at the hotel is definitely the highlight of our trip! Everything exceeded our expectations. We didn’t wanna leave the riad at all.
