A dream hotel, located in a quiet spot at the end of the promenade, just below the castle.
The interior is decorated with taste and our Junior Suite had great views over the sea on two sides of the room, a generous terrace and it was filled with nice design touches, including two portholes – we really felt we were sailing on an amazing boat.
The minibar was generously filled with water and soft drinks.
The service was warm and friendly and the breakfast was exceptional – the best we had during this trip in Greece.
We ate at Four Seasons restaurant and we really enjoyed the dinner.
We parked the car freely in front of the hotel.

Fantastic waterfront hotel! Room balcony was right over the water of the beautiful bay. Great waterfront patio area, with fantastic bar and seating area. Great breakfast, with fresh cooked eggs any way you could want them. Fantastic staff. Many of the guests we met were repeat visitors, and I can see why. Easy walking distance to waterfront restaurants and other attractions in town.

Astonishing views, superb breakfast and easy access to the swim in the beautiful Navarino Bay.
Just one word of caution though, there are quite a lot of steps so not so suitable if you have mobility problems.

Stunning location, great views as right on water! Breakfasts offered everything, locally sourced! We had 2 days, a week would have been perfect as so much to see. Methoni worth a visit, but Pylos charming and great restaurants!

Of all the hotels we stayed at during our 2-week trip through the Peloponnesos, this was by far the best. The hotel is not near the water, but IN the water, and one swims from the beach bar at the first floor right into the lagoon. But the most stunning experience is the breakfast, you have to have been there to believe it. Ham and eggs, pastries, all kinds of breads, all kind of fruits, and local specialties kept coming because "they wanted us to taste everything". The hotel is at the end of a small road right under the castle. Again, the views are just stunning: the calm blue waters of the lagoon closed off by a series of islands. The rooms have balconies overlooking the sea below and excellent air-conditioning. The receptionist and the breakfast personnel are very friendly and personal. We hope we can come back to the Peloponnesos soon , and then the Karalis beach hotel will be our prime destination!

Karalis beach hotel is by far one of the best places we’ve stayed, absolutely breathtaking views from our room’s balcony. The breakfast was delicious and the staff are very friendly and helpful including the owners dog Bella who is always at the front door greeting you as you arrive or depart to explore the village. we will definitely be returning to Karalis beach hotel.

Loved this place - very friendly and very very peaceful. We had a room with balcony overlooking the water and the gentle lap of the waves was beautiful. Breakfast was great and the service attentive and nice. Room was very pleasing. Could improve the art prints on the wall - as the rest is very modern - that was our only thought. Would love to go back.

The hotel could not have been better in meeting our expectations. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfectly placed for a quiet stay overlooking the stunning views of Pylos harbour and the historic site of the island of Sfaktiria. At the same time, it is only a few hundred yards to the vibrant town square, where you can find many different restaurants and cafes. The breakfast was also first rate with an excellent choice, including for vegetarians. The bar also served great cocktails with a relaxing view to match.

Very nice hotel on the water in Pilos. Rooms were very clean. Staff was very helpful. Hotel is on edge of town square and you can jump into the sea off a pier attached to the lounge area.
Coming back in future

We definitely got the feeling we were there off-season (June) as there was a lot of work going on. The areas that have been done are beautiful and the location is stunning. Our room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom was tired.

Wonderful situation and very friendly, helpful staff. Everything but the bathroom was 5 star. It really needs updating. But I would stay again.

We stayed for one night and we wished we have stayed for more nights. Pilos is the most relaxing small town and Karalis Beach is its undiscovered pearl. A little stuck in the past design wise but it has character, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast views were second to none. As a tip you should get a room with seaview !

Views from this hotel could not get any better. The balcony sits right on the water. It is a very short walking distance to the small town of Pylos. There are refrigerators in rooms which was nice to have for buying beverages in town. The Pylos castle is a 5 minute walk to the top of the hill. The bathroom needed some updating, but the view off of the balcony made up for the bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic with much to choose from and the breakfast staff is very helpful in making you what you need. I over heard someone who had a sick spouse and the breakfast staff made them what they needed.

Interesting Hotel, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The room in which I stayed in was street view not the sea view room. So it may differ for some guests. The room was small, did not have enough power points to recharge your phone, the bathroom flooded like another pool. Had sufficient air conditioning.
swimming was open into the beach, for older guests or guests not mobile would be difficult to get down there for a swim.
One problem I came across is that they opened the pool area to non guests which as a paying guest it was difficult to get a lounge..that was really disappointing. Breakfast was decent nothing too elaborate

the hotel is hanging literally above the sea. The problem is that only a limited number of rooms have sea view. In our case , and as far as i know in several other occasions, the room we got was not the one we paid for. After complaining to the staff they tried to persuade us that the room we booked was the one we got. Unfortunately it seemed to me that this is part of their policy in order to attract customers so that they have a full house in this hotel as well as the other hotel of the company in the city. They appear to have empty rooms with sea view but once you get there they try to get you in whichever room is available. We finally got the room we paid for only for the two of the four nights of our stay. They then offered us a two night stay in the other room which we refused. So after negotiating with expedia we managed to arrange a refund of our money for the rest of our stay.We actually managed to find a cheaper room in Pylos with excellent view. So if anyone wants to stay in Karalis BEACH Hotel be sure that you confirm by phone that you are given the double room with sofa and sea view situated in the FRONT side of the hotel.

The staff are terrified of the owner and it's cringe worthy to watch. The owner watches every move of tourists, staff and concierge. Uggghh very uncomfortable.
Breakfast was tinned peaches, tinned mixed fruit, white stale bread and carton orange juice! Awful!
The owners daughter is so manly she scared me!
The standard bedrooms are pitiful but the upgraded beds are much better quality.
If you have to stay here , stay knowing that the owners have the highest contacts in the country and hence their arrogance.
They don't pay their cleaners officially.
Not a happy customer!
