We had a very enjoyable three-night stay at this lovely property. Everything about this place was outstanding from the moment we arrived. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was large, well appointed, and spotless. The linens and amenities were all very nice. Although the property is not far from some busy streets, it's very quiet inside and in the outdoor garden courtyard in the area behind the building. The included breakfast was fabulous, offering a range of hot and cold items. It is very conveniently located near a number of main attractions and numerous restaurants within easy walking distance. All in all, a very good value. We will stay there again if our plans bring us back to Rome anytime soon.

Super hotel in the heart of Rome - an oasis of quiet with a beautiful garden in the middle of a frantically busy and bustling city. Walking distance to most of the major attractions. Lovely old-world charm, delightful staff and super service. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Absolutely amazing property! Absolutely top notch! One of the little extras, is that they give you a smart phone with free data and phone service while you are staying at the hotel! Would give my highest recommendation!

I have stayed in many luxury hotels. Villa Spalletti is perhaps the finest! A friend who knew we would be traveling to Roma recommended this hotel and it exceeded our expectations! Their concierge and staff were welcoming friendly and exceptionally professional and helpful! The hotel is historic, lovely and located right in the heart of Roma. We will now absolutely insist we stay with this hotel every time we visit this ancient magical city! Arrivederci!

Beautiful Hotel Room was perfecto

It was definitely different than some other hotels, but worth it. Really nice clean great experience. Great customer service. Good breakfast
If you driving your own car you might have a little problem with very narrow streets and tight parking spots and you need to contact the hotel to arrange your permission to drive to the hotel in downtown Rome
Great location walking distance to everything

Great hotel, that feels like a home. Away from the crowds and very peaceful. Very beautiful property.

This property was beautiful and an absolute highlight when visiting Rome

This place is absolutely fantastic! The staff, the venue, the extras; it truly is like having your own 16th century villa in the heart of Rome. This place is an incredible gem. The service the decor, I mean I cant say enough good things. I would move in if I could.
4.9
This is the most unique hotel I've ever stayed in. The service was impeccable and the room was extremely comfortable especially given the central location.
4.9
This is really more a grand home than a hotel. The common rooms are lavishly furnished with 400 year old tapestries, antiques, art. There are seldom other guests around and we felt like we were staying in a very wealthy friend's home. If you love woodwork, this place has an amazing amount of incredibly intricate millwork. It was a good location for exploring the classic Rome sites - Forum, coliseum, etc. We really loved Spalletti and would return.

Very friendly staff!

Absolutely stunning in every way.

Beautiful, stately, traditional property with elegant common areas and friendly, helpful staff. Our room was very comfortable with a great bed and soft pillows. Everything was top-knotch. The only thing I wouldn't really recommend was having dinner at the hotel. We did so one night and wished we'd walked to one of the nearby restaurants instead. It wasn't bad by any means, but we were the only ones in the dining room and the server was in a maid uniform and we felt like we were in a period drama. Hard to describe.

Truly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The staff couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful, and the space is extraordinary. A joy from start to finish.
4.9
A gem of an in and peaceful quiet retreat.

This centrally located hotel was booked as a treat, which is exactly what it proved to be. Elegant yet comfortable, classic but up to date standards, and just a great place to relax. The staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable and memorable, and the garden suite was very impressive. The rooftop terrace was restful and luxurious. We will be back

Staying at the Villa is an awesome experience. Although modern, you can feel the history. It is a unique kind of luxury with a staff that is exceptional.
4.9
A fantastic hotel. Best ever we do a lot of travelling and this is exceptional in every way. Felt we were visiting someone’s beautiful home and made extremely welcome. If you do not have the opportunity to stay visit for a coffee or lunch. Beautiful gardens etc Wonderful staff hope to return

An amazing hotel, a calm oasis in the hustle and bustle of Rome.

The Villa is a very unique and interesting property. You really feel like a guest in some minor royal's house. The property is also really quiet - despite it being almost full during my stay seeing other guests was unusual. The rooftop hotubs and basement spa were also wonderful and very quiet as well. The staff were also excellent - very helpful and welcoming, while they are somewhat reserved, once you ask for something, they become extremely responsive. The hotel seemed to mostly have couples staying there, but even for a solo traveler it was a nice quiet refuge after days filled with tourist sights and walking. It is certainly not the cheapest place in Rome, but I felt the overall value was compelling and the Villa really added to my short stay in Rome.

No facilities for making hot drinks in my room .Room service expensive 15euros plus cost of beverages. No information volunteered by reception staff eg public transport, restaurantsand sightseeing information.

We splurged and spent 5 nights at Villa Spalletti Trivelli. It was worth every penny and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in this section of Rome. We went to the opera and found great wine bars and restaurants within 5-10 min walk. The service was exceptional and breakfast amazing. It is a unique hotel with beautiful common space, amenities and outstanding staff. They attend to all the details. One of many examples is the ironed linen sheets. I've never slept so well.

Simply amazing. A beautiful property. Wonderful reception rooms. A very comfortable and well appointed bedroom and the staff were all a delighted. Also perfectly located. If I had one suggestion it would be for tea & coffee making equipment in the bedroom.

My husband and I just completed our first stay at this beautiful luxury villa hotel and feel as if we have found a "home" in Rome. It is centrally located near the Quirinale and the Spanish Steps with other major attractions within walking distance or a reasonable taxi ride away. We were very satisfied with our corner Prestige level accommodations (#9 on the 2nd floor) overlooking the property and gardens. The room is bright, spacious and comfortably appointed with a king size bed, beautiful linens, antiques and artwork, desk, sitting area, walk-in closet, large marble bathroom, free WiFi and courtesy mini-bar. The included daily breakfasts were quite sufficient with a lovely buffet and made-to-order specialties, all pleasantly served in their beautiful intimate dining room. After touring Rome in the broiling hot sun, we decided to have dinner on two occasions in the villa's comfortable shaded garden and, with a glass or two of cold prosecco from the courtesy bar in the parlor, it made for a perfect and relaxing way to end a busy day. The reception staff was efficient, discreet, friendly and very accommodating to our varied requests for taxis, airport transfers, directions, printing and general information. If you prefer a large, bustling hotel with gift shops, multiple dining options, late night lounges and hundreds of other guests, this is not the hotel for you. We will hope to always stay here upon our return visits to Rome.

Beautiful hotel, more like staying in a museum than a hotel. Exceptional service: attentive but discrete. Great location - just a few minutes from famous landmarks. Eating in the secluded gardens was very special. The roof terrace was terrific and well appointed. The all day’help yourself’ bar was very welcome & the breakfast buffet a delight. Would love to return!

Villa Spalletti was paradise, the nicest boutique hotel we have every enjoyed. It was quiet and elegant, with an outstanding, attentive staff. The rooftop tubs were fabulous (during the heat of Rome). The food was excellent, and dining in the garden was delightful. The amenities were divine, particularly the robes and linen sheets. We felt like we were in a wealthy private residence more than a hotel. We have recommended it to all of our friends. An extraordinary experience.

We don’t belong to the school of travellers who believe you only need a “clean comfortable bed” to rest between destinations and experiences. For us finding places like Villa Spalletti Trevelli are equally important on the travellers journey.
This is a beautiful hotel by all measures. It is elegant and spacious, with reception rooms affording guests ideal spaces to relax or work. The hedged garden with pavilions offer a welcome green respite from Rome’s summer heat. The rooftop terrace with several spa units is brilliant and the gym is excellent.
This was a home in another time and there is feel of that still in the furnishings. This may not be to everyone taste but we loved it.
Everything about this hotel felt genuine and faultless.
The rooms are superbly fitted out and serviced. The Linen linen is luxurious. The breakfast is diverse with quality produce.
But all of the above is useless if those charged with assisting you during your stay are not proficient. Villa Spalletti has wonderful people, genuine warm efficient people with personality. There is a spirit of generosity here that is very rare in hotels
We loved this hotel and cannot wait to return.

I refuse to review this place because I don't want to share! when two friends from unrelated parts of our life recommended it, I decided to try this hotel. OMG - I can find something to complain about in practically any place, but this hotel left me nothing to gripe about. It is spectacular, beautiful, well located, and comfortable. I would go back to Rome just to stay there.

The hotel is small, 20 rooms, in a former private home, in a quiet location (a block from the presidental palace) and walking distance to the Coliseum. The staff is attentive and available 24 hours. The rooms are large with large private baths (and a nice large tub). I liked the fact that the ammenitirs like wifi and minibar were free, making it a more relaxing environment (where you dont have to worry about being charged 3 Euros for drinking some water). Expensive, but worth it for the relaxed homelike experience in a lovely well maintained 1900s Villa. Only issues I had were that half the electric outlets in the room didnt work and the sheets were a bit scratchier than I like.

Fortunate enough to enjoy a three night stay at Villa Spalletti Trivelli in March. The hotel and staff impressed in every area. Super helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is ideally located in the the centre of Rome with many sights within easy walking distance. I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely hotel. Enjoy!

My wife and I stayed at Villa Spalletti Trivelli for six days at the end of October. It was a surprise trip that
I arranged to celebrate my wife's birthday. When looking for the hotel I wanted something special rather than just expensive 5 star hotel. The Villa exceeded my expectations. The staff was absolutely excellent.
To illustrate how good is the staff at Villa I will give one example.
On the day of my wife's birthday there was nock on our room door and to our surprise the birthday cake was delivered.I didn't say anything about birthday to any members of staff so they had this information from the passport when we checked in.
The villa has two drawing rooms ,library, garden, gym/spa and the roof terrace. There is something for everybody. We spent a lot of time in a beautiful drawing room. Most of the time there was no one else in the room so it was like being guest in a private house .
Great place,fantastic people !

Unique, outstanding place in the heart of Rome. Short walk to Trevi fountain and to the Quirinale. Serene, tasteful setting, and great wine tasting from the hotel's vineyard in Umbria. The room was large, comfortable and cool. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The rooftop was a great escape on a warm summer day/night.

where do i start, my holiday was supposed to finish in one of the best hotels rome has to offer, so my last day was supposed to be fantastic i wanted to relax in the nice terrace you have. drink some good beer and do some work on my computer.
I was quite surprised to hear that it was going to be a party for the owners daughter and son, i was told that the party would start at 18:30 so I thought i would just go upstairs and enjoy the hot tub, meanwhile the staff was checking on me every 10 minutes like i was not welcome to enjoy the terrace and i could see that the staff was very nervous to make everything ready for that evening party so i decided to leave as soon as the party started and even then some people were already there
The only reason i booked this hotel was so i can relax, if i would have wanted to go to a rooftop bar and party i would have booked a cheep room and just go to a rooftop bar and booked a bad hotel room
This image and the video i am going to send you is hopefully going to show the management at the hotel what my relaxing vacation looked like
Now don't get me wrong, the hotel is beautiful, the staff was very nice, i would have given the hotel 2 stars but i decided to sent the hotel a e-mail to check what there reply was now it's been 7 days since that e-mail and no reply, i think that is the worst and shows that the management at the hotel are ignoring there guests complaints

This place is simply amazing. It only has fourteen rooms, but it has the amenities of a much larger hotel. It is near the Presidential Palace and Trevi Fountain, so it's in a great location. The staff is top-notch as well. My volt (small) complaint is that they always lock the main door to the hotel, and they keep your key when you leave. So you have to wait until they come down and let you in, which at times was a few minutes. Other than that, it's one of the best places you can stay at in Rome.
