Room did not have washcloths, soap along other products advertised. Bathroom was not clean and sanitary. Took a long time to have those rectified. The rooms have a rundown look and everything is falling apart.

AC stop working the second day, move to a room with no balcony (had a smoking balcony the night before) got relocated to a room near the elevator and no hot water

Besides a few roaches and a small leak in room 426,my stay at the hotel was enjoyable

Stayed for 2 nights in Oct 2024.
The good stuff: Friendly, courteous and welcoming staff. Malaika at front desk was especially efficient and humorous during check-in and enquired about our needs throughout-out stay. Amanda during check-in was also quite helpful.
Alston from maintenance and Shellon G and Bolessa J at the poolside restaurant were very helpful and accommodating.
The room we had was spacious, linen and towels clean and a/c working well.
The poolside restaurant was clean and the tables well spaced to afford some dining privacy.
The not so good:
The safe was not working when we arrived and there was a space in the closet ceiling where the tile was not replaced. One of the bulbs over the sink was out. I must emphasize that Malaika contacted maintenance immediately when these were brought to her attention. Alston arrived to fix the safe and take care to make sure the taps worked. We asked that the ceiling and light bulb be fixed later, as these issues were not a bother during our stay.
One concern is the design of the bathroom. There are no hooks to hang towels when using the shower. This means that a person will need to step out and take a few steps to get the towel. This is a potential accident due to slipping on the floor with wet feet. Also, check the drainage of the shower. Maintenance work on the 4th floor left the carpets a bit messy. The music from the Fun Fair is an annoyance.
Mall, supermarket, and casino close by.
Overall, a pleasant stay.

Great place to stay!! Pool is amazing. Rooms are clean and towels are changed daily. Just wish shower had warmer water. Im not used to cold showers.

Outside of property is nice but the rooms need upgrading! I literally cleaned a poop stain off the wall in the toilet room when we arrived. It was late and I was not going to wait for someone to come clean it. The bed was ok kinda hard, ice machine didn’t work, no wash cloths the whole 5 days we were there, free buffet breakfast was VERY LIMITED, 3-4 hot options each day; staff was not welcoming at all in the restaurant area but the front desk staff was nice; didn’t get in the pool once as it’s very crowded on the weekend with outsiders coming in, during the week the pool is not busy at all. I went for my partner’s birthday because he wanted to go but there is not much to do there, I did not see any excursions besides a few basic tours but no ATVs or anything like that. I would not return

The hotel restaurant was great, all inclusive breakfast was nice. The rooms could be cleaner! We stayed in two rooms for two nights and called room service for extra towels, still waiting for them. Overall the location was great, shopping and restaurants was nearby. The pool closes at 6pm, kids didn’t like that.

The room was very unsafe the door were held together with paper in the locks, the shower was broken it was just a terrible stay i check in at 3pm and checked out at 630pm i felt my family was not safe there

This property is beautiful outside but the rooms are not properly cleaned I changed 3 rooms the first night I got there the pillows was dirty and stink the bed sheets was not changed from previous persons stay the bathroom was not cleaned I have videos to prove the dirty filthy rooms that was given to me after complaining it was cleaned these rooms need maintenance old furnitures leaky bathrooms,non working air conditioners

location was excelent. room was run down, phone was not working. all lights was not working.pillows was flat and couldnt get addational. no towels at the pool desk. front desk staff was terrible.

It was a horrible stay we arrived at around 1am and was given a room the front desk was good serving the girl was able to give us a room. when i got to the room it was open going in side the door wouldn't lock, it was as if someone had kicked in the door we called the front desk amd they sent maintenance who tried to fixt the door frame we requested a new room and was told this room would be safe. The door frame was still shaking and after 20-30 minutes of debate we were given a new room only for it to be the same, it was now 2 am and my kids and i were tied because we started traveling internationally from the previous morning and was in much need of resting we put something to to block the door from inside the room to be safe because this door frame as well was shaking and maintenance drilled some screws into it but i felt very unsafe i had to leave at around 530am so we rested for a few hours and left . I did informed the front desk and was told she reported it to management but never got a call or anything. I was traveling with my family , husband 3 kids under 9 and i book 2 room one for us and another for my aunt and uncle i request it to me together but we were on separate floors so that they couldn't do i made my reservation months months ahead but i felt like this in not the same hotel i visited in the past the standards were very low and this was a horrible fewhours my family had to experience

Most of the staff were extremely unfriendly, the entire stay. Be warned that electricity goes often in Guyana (almost every day). I got stuck in different elevators twice during the 5 day trip, and the staff behaved as if this was a normal occurrence.

Me and my family had a lovely time,
however the following was really something to think about…..
No room service ( some days)
No drinking water ( some days)
Tv not working ( some days)
Shower leaking ( everyday for 10 days)
Lack of towels ( most days)
Pool towers dirty ( occasionally)
Toilet ran out ( you had to wait for someone to bring it ( which was usually the next day)
Staff ( not all) were unfriendly and rude
Overall we had a fantastic time ( as you can’t allow minors things to spoil your holiday).
Would I go back ……. Yes I would.

The food and rooms were satisfactory. However, the elevators were constantly malfunctioning, I got stuck twice during my stay for 5mins.

We asked for early check-in and did not check-in until 6pm. Also told us our room were not ready at that time. One of the lady employee had to step in and help us get rooms. The rooms were dirty when we got them and some of the staff member were unfriendly. The keys to the rooms keep disconnecting. I also witness other guest having the same issues with the key and housekeeping told the guest to go to front desk after they were locked out their room. The hotel needs a lot of updates and more restaurants. I was very disappointed on how the ramada looked and dirty it was. I also took pictures.

I recently stayed at the Ramada Inn in Guyana and had a generally positive experience. The rooms were quite comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring. However, I believe it would greatly enhance the guest experience if the rooms were updated to align with modern standards.
The customer service staff were courteous, but I felt they could benefit from adopting a friendlier demeanor. A warm smile and a bit more engagement would make a significant difference in creating a welcoming environment for guests.
I also noticed that the pool area could use some remodeling. A little attention to this space would create a more appealing area to unwind and enjoy some leisure time.
Overall, I was very happy with my stay at the Ramada Inn. I appreciate the comfort and convenience it provided, and I just wanted to highlight these minor details that could elevate the experience even further. I would definitely consider returning in the future!

Over all this is a beautiful hotel within a perfect location to everything. Beautiful morning view of the river. The food was mediocre & drinks bearly ever cold. The lobby bar is nice. The pool is nice and clean however, would often run out of towels as early as 10 am.The casino is nice but lacking customer services. Housekeeping and customers services wasn't the best. We stayed for 9 days I did most of my owe house keeping despite many requests. Also they knock at your door at 9am asking if you need house keeping & towels but never return. Overall it was a beautiful hotel with a decent stay, management need to train employees on customers services with a smile.

The housekeeping staff and pool side waitresses were very professional and helpful. However the rooms were very run down. The first night there was a party and my e tire room was shaking uncontrollably from the base of the speakers on the floor below. Management did nothing to mitigate this. The front desk staff were rude and unprofessional.

Haven’t been here since ownership changed hands. Which you can definitely tell the difference . This was once a very nice and well keep hotel . No more nice breakfast served inside it’s outside around the pool. Wasn’t serviced hot and never enough items of choice . Servers don’t seem to give a crap and take a long time to clear the tables off.No furniture on the patios to enjoy the night sky. Won’t be staying here again . The house keeper was the nicest person in the building. I did ask the front desk did they have a survey that I could fill out about the hotel and service and they said no.
