Found out this place is actually a timeshare but regardless the front desk staff were very courteous and welcoming. The place could use some modern upgrades like USB outlets and more updated furnishings but overall comfy and clean.

We asked for a late check out as my wife had to catch a train that afternoon. The latest they would give us was 12 noon and our train was not until 3 o’clock seemed Rather inflexible and not great service The property is super dated, and the parking is borderline dangerous in the parking facility. On the plus side, the proximity to the Riverwalk is great with excellent cafés close by

The rooms were very spacious, and I liked that the bathroom was in a separate area. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. It was slightly outdated, but that didn’t take away from any part of our stay. Thirsty’s bar and the bartender were amazing. Really great atmosphere and vibe. Very kitschy vibe. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Reno.

Great stay at this hotel. Been a guest 7 time in the past 5 years we like is cause it’s a block off the strip. So it’s not so busy. Great food and fun just one block away. Great close walk to the river is just outside the lobby. Good place for some nice outside views. We will come back soon. Also they have the best pillows!! My wife bought two of them!!! lol!!

We tried something new as opposed to one of the downtown casinos to visit family. Other than a rude female front desk clerk at check-in, it was an enjoyable visit. The room was large and clean although it was like going back in time and we felt like we were in the late 80's with the huge oak bedroom set. Bathroom was adequate. Parking is secure altho a bit odd. It was close to the things we needed to go to. Will stay here again.

Although close to everything, the premises were peaceful and quiet; respite from the casino madness. Staff very nice. Lovely indoor pool, bar, and pool table room. Great view of the city. Would stay there again.

Very quaint. We enjoyed our stay very much. Room was a little close to the elevator so there was some noise but not terrible. Had a good time at Thirsty’s. Enjoyed some delivered pizza. Will definitely stay again.

Nice clean and comfortable room, Friendly Staff too. It's an older property and parking is rather limited for larger vehicles like a pickup truck, SUV etc. They were having issues with their satellite TV service while I was there. However, Mike the nighttime told me it will be repaired by the satellite TV provider. Nice walkable proximity to Riverwalk and some dinning establishments!

Sadly, this place is extremely old, dated, and decrepit. The desk guy, Mike, was great -- but there was no restroom for guests on the first floor in the lobby area. The closest restroom (ourside of guest rooms) was on the seventh floor. In the room itself, everything was drab, dreary, and just plain old and worn. My wife insisted that we could not stay there, and while it was a hassle to go elsewhere, we found far far better accommodations very near to this throwback to the forties or fifties.

Plaza Resort Club, while perhaps a little dated, is a clean and comfortable property. Its proximity to the river walk is a big plus. We enjoyed nearby eateries that were within easy walking distance. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We’d certainly stay there again.
