The property is beautiful and so clean. Tons of activities available on the compound for every age group. Food galore. Very pleasant and helpful staff

The staff are wonderful, friendly and welcoming. The grounds and beach are beautifully maintained. Unfortunately their #3 Tower is very outdated, so much so, we were without running water for 12 hrs, and some were without electricity for 4-6 hrs post sunset. The Resort Management were aware of the outages but failed to notify guests and essentially just waited for people to complain. Once down in the lobby inquiring about what was going on, w/ over 50 guests in line, it appears this has happened multiple times before; repairs are underway while guests are there without any disclaimers or heads up; unacceptable. Simply unacceptable that t h o u s a n d s of dollars were spent to enjoy this resort and they decided to just wait and see vs being proactive. To those who got up early enough in the morning were sent to public relations to another line where some guests, only some, were given a temp room to go wash up but could not transfer to that room as it needed to be ready for arrivals. Everyone else was left being encouraged to use the gym or a genral bathroom OR PAY to upgrade to the other tower; unacceptable. No vouchers or inconvenience gifts were offered, just an apology and that maintenance was working on it. Clearly it is a business decision to not close that Tower to complete piping and wiring renovations, but the resort could definitely do better by offering a lower rate for that Tower or at the very least a disclaimer. When you know better, do better.

I had an enjoyable time, however I did have some issues. I had no water on my block for an extended period and no one informed us as to what was happening. Secondly the rooms are not been ckeaned well as there were mildew in the shower and the floor was streaky. The guest service reps selling time share are simply annoying and pushy. That aside its a good facility

overall appearance was excellent , staff was exceptional. however there was no water for over 5 hrs. Also electricity was off for almost 45mins in the early morning

About 50 of my relatives stayed here for my nephew’s wedding and the service , property and food was amazing!

Highly recommended. Staff very professional. Very wide food variety. A lot of amenities for persons of all ages. Love the design and finishes.

The resort was nice but the checkin took to long and they gave us a king size bed instead of a double bed it was three of us and than try to offer us a pullout. We ended up getting the double bed which that’s what we booked so that’s what I was suppose to have. I heard from other people that they had the same issue with their rooms but once we got settled we ended up having a good time.

i had visited 2 times previously and it was amazing however management has changed ie HR director and Food and beverage director and you can see the difference in the staff a lot younger and need lots of training. Buffet food would be spilled no clean up however i did give direct feedback and hopefully its used to bring the moonpalace standards up to where it was 2 years ago

The property was beautiful. The staff however was rude and not accomodatimg at all. They did not honor our reservation and we ended up having to pay an additional $800 to get the room we reserved in the first place. Everything for a VIP guest was conditional and ended up being a timeshare thing. Weird. Likely will not stay here again.

The Spa was nice . That was it…. Food was not good at all… rooms ore out dated .. had to take a cold shower this morning with little to No Water coming out the shower & a Strong odor of Urine in the shower.

We had a minor incident with the receptionist at Momo restaurant. Complaint was given to guest relations! They promised to see me before we come home. They did not.

My family and i had a wonderful time at the resort. The staff were professional, pleasant and hard working.The pools and grounds were clean and well kept.The one area that i beleive needs improvement is the medical unit. For a resort of its size the medical resources were lacking. My son took ill and the nurse did not have the necessary working equipment to make an assessment. Please take some to improve this area. Overall, it was a great experience and we would visit again.

This was a family vacation we stayed 4-nights. Check-in process had long lines and was very slow. We were told our room would be available at 3pm, however it was not ready until 4. We were on the 12th floor, one of the elevators was broken pretty much for the entire time. Lines for the elevators were extremely long and there was no AC. The food was average for meat-eaters, not the best for vegetarian options. Entertainment was average. The pool could have been cleaner or maintained better throughout the day. The coffee shop had very tasty desserts options. Overall for the price, we expected more. We would have been better off staying at the RIU.

Checked in was great the staff was wonderful my issue they never restock my refrigerator not once ever thought I asked they never give my rooms towels I have to call every day and I have to wait 1 hours the worst part of it is the hotel valet hit my rent a car on her way from the parking lot I have asked to speak to a manager regarding the situation I was told they all in meeting and I should write a report which I did when I ask for something in writing that they will take care of the damages I was told by security it company policy not to give information I should let the rental company fixed the vehicle and they will go through Lawer and insurance to claim back my money they promised that a manager would get back to me by the weekend it now 7 days and no email telephone or text this is terrible after spending so much money for my stay I’m very disappointed in the way the situation was handled the hotel is a beautiful place they have all you needed except the management and customer service is very poor they put the staff up front to take the heat the poor staff work so hard to accommodate the guest I think all those managers should replace by regular staff since they are the ones handling all the complaints .

Just got back from 5 days at Moon Palace Jamaica, and it was great! My room was spacious, and what a view (11th floor)! The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The food was pretty good, though not as spicy as I’m used to. Overall, I thought it was great and would go again 😊

The hotel was NOT prepared for the hurricane though it knew one was coming. Management was absent and never came out to address the guests. We were left at the mercy of the staff who where lovely but making poor decisions including putting a buffet for 100’s of people in an alley way!! From the moment we arrived everything that we did required and hour long plus line including simple things like checking in.

there was hurricane in jamaica, we were stuck inside the hotel, the employees were very ridiculous trying to take advantage of the situation, i had to stay at the hotel for 3 more days, they didn’t help me at all, i don’t recommend it

Handicapp was not for handicapp. Most of my vacation was spent going back and forward to the different desks. Everyday I had to complain about my key not working to let me in my room. Handicapp only had a rail in the shower.

Absolutely poorly managed. They were not prepared and very disorganized in handling a tropical storm. Emergency procedures were communicated via a letter and very little verbal direction. Management could not be found for all issues during and following the storm. Beds were hard to find in safe zones for hours on end. Food was horrible during the 24 hours of emergency lockdown. With generators running the hotel, electricity was limited. No air conditioning in many areas of the hotel, hot tubs closed, flow rider closed, no plumbing at times, no wifi for days, heat in gym unbearable, limited food and drinks, power would cut at a sudden moment (leaving people in darkness throughout the entire hotel), elevators would stop in place so we took the stairs for 5 days. Overworked and unhappy staff (which we felt very bad for) would sometimes make us feel unwelcome and ungrateful. Seemed like many workers weren’t too concerned of their performance, possibly due to treatment from upper management. Management (when found from hiding), refusing to supply items they had an abundance of in Jamaica. My wife was denied a single banana from a manager because breakfast ended 5 minutes prior. Even before the storm, it was very difficult to find mango and papaya. Would never risk booking a hotel owned by the owners of this property. Thankful for the staff that were helpful and welcoming. We did our best to try and lift the spirits of many staff members and we were very generous.

Staff was exceptional. Facilities, drinks (coffee) and dessert were my favorites. Food was plentiful and Jerk Chicken was great.

Staff were friendly and kind. The experience was fun for the entire family, from my toddler, my eight year older my spouse and my friend’s teenagers.
