They were too inflexible ... we had one extra room we did not need and would not budge to refund or try to mitigate
The management

It’s beautiful - boutique-vibe. Warm and friendly team. So helpful when we needed a doctor.
The pool was a bit salty - not a problem but made our eyes a bit sore.

Nice modern large rooms, great shower, very clean. Good location (15min stroll to town square)
Rooms seem to vary a lot. We had two garden rooms - one had a private garden and no view, the other had no private garden but was next to the pool and had a sea view.
No desk in room. Shower smelled of damp (insufficient ventilation).
Skip the croissant and pain au chocolat - they have no idea how to make pastries.

Superb staff, big room with view of the sea. Very nice bar with an extensive cocktail list. The Dakos restaurant was great for lunch.
Not possible to have dinner in the Dakos restaurant.

The food was very nice, high variability.
There are enough nice restaurants in the surroundings as well. Such as the Thea restaurant at walking distance with amazing staff and food.

Large parking lot, room design a big plus, staff friendly and helpfull, we had a separate entrance and a large garden with sunbeds, large facility.
The first facility where we did not get water after checking in. To the beach more than a kilometer (but we we awere of that). Strange phonecall about what time we are planning to check-out, despite we got a message how long we can stay.

The entire resort is amazing. It is located @1/2 mile from town and there is a terrific supermarket in town where you can buy everything you need to cook in the kitchenette (which is very modern and nicely furnished). Our room was huge and had the best views for sunset. There are many places to sneak away and read a book or listen to music on the many verandas. There was a very nice bar area where many guests gathered at happy hour to lounge and enjoy drinks. Many of the suites had private infinity pools right off the living areas. The entire property was spotless and the staff were incredible, especially Eleni at the front desk - she was exceptionally friendly and so helpful! i would HIGHLY recommend this resort!

beautiful, comfortable, great facilities, amazing lovely staff
rooms should come with kettle and tea and coffee. a bottle of water at arrival would also be a nice gesture like we had in other hotels of this standard

Firstly we were greeted with the smiliiest of faces and friendliness. Everyone was so polite. Our room was just gorgeous . We paid for our own private pool and I was beautiful I can't even describe to you the feeling waking up every morning to that view and seeing the sunset in the evening. Location was great about a 15 minutes into the town where all the lovely restaurants and shops were.

Loved staying here, and will definitely go back. Staff were lovely, food was amazing, pool and location are beautiful. Loved it. My favorite place on my trip.

The continental breakfast was superb.
There was no beach access, For the price there should’ve been a better view of the sea.

We liked: breakfast, pool, view.
No second key to the room, so fridge and airconditioning could not function in our absence (to be fair, we were given one after we asked). Machine noise throughout the night (other than the room's airconditioning). No kettle to make tea. Overall very economy-oriented management.

We were extremely happy with everything at the hotel. The room was great and so was the breakfast. I had broken my ankle the week before our trip but we still decided to go. Even though it caused me some issues during the week I have to say the staff were exceptionally helpful and did everything they could to help me.
In particular, I would like to thank Terpsie, who helped me every morning at breakfast despite being rushed off her feet, she is an asset to the hotel, also Christalou in reception went out of her way to help me whenever she could.

pool area and gardens lovely with a poolside bar and lunch restaurant. nice views into Elounda.
we stayed in a family room with a comfy king sized bed and two bunk beds. there was only one air conditioning unit in the main bedroom so our children found it difficult to sleep as so hot. I asked for a fan which was provided. no curtain on the shower cubicle yet not really a wet room - so after 4 daily showers the room was a wet mess.
definitely need a car if you stay here - a 15 minute walk into Elounda.

The private infinity pool off the suite with interconnecting rooms was amazing luxury, only rivalled by the view and the kind, hard working and attentive staff where nothing was too much trouble! The warmth of the staff (and the locals) really made this holiday so amazing and memorable.
It was quite a distance to walk to the beach - not really 10 minutes as described in the bio. I’d still consider staying here again because of the views afforded from the private decking you have from the infinity pool! If the beach is a daily must for you, then just know it will be a little longer (maybe 20 mins).

Great property, very nice sea view and the room was very comfortable. the buffet and breakfast were excellent !
The sea water pool is impressive but had our eyes really smarting: you definitely need water goggles if you want to swim underwater !

Pool room was beautiful and very clean - cleaners were lovely and very helpful. Bar staff really great also. Bed was great and the general pool area etc was lovely. Breakfast great.
Wi-Fi didn’t work in room the entire time we were there, neither for neighbouring rooms. This is apparently a common problem although reception didn’t say this when we upgraded to room. We attempted to book spa treatments several times but with no attendance at wellness reception at any point, no one ever came back to us, despite their note saying they would do so. Couldn’t get iron from reception despite asking twice, then got charged wrong at check out.

Everything about our experience at the Elounda Palm Hotel & Suites was straight out the top drawer. The hotel, it's staff, the facilities enabled us to relax, find some peace to enjoy the views and the pool and generally be looked after by such a wonderful team (special mention to Eleni on the front desk - what a star). The hotel was a wonderful place to spend time after the adventures of exploring Crete, great location with Elounda and Agios Nikolous on the door step too!
Nothing. It was one of my best hotel stays anywhere, ever. Loved it.

We stayed 4 nights at Elounda Palm as part of twin centre holiday in Crete and cannot recommend it enough. Booked a sea view room, with a balcony overlooking the Bay of Elounda (would also recommend Garden View Suite). Friends had upgraded to suite with private plunge pool, which were amazing. Room was modern yet simple in design and extremely clean with excellent air con. Pool area was spacious, with great bar and breakfast was an excellent buffet, with outdoor eating area. Selection of food was superb, definitely recommend booking breakfast. Whilst the location is a little outside the town itself, we had a hire car (plenty of parking), but tavernas and cafes are about 20/25 minute walk away. Surroundings are quiet, peaceful and well maintained with great views and well manicured gardens.
What really set the Elounda Palm apart from others, we’re the staff. From check in to check out, staff were friendly, welcoming and had a very genuine approach. Special mention to Eleni at reception, who could not have been more welcoming and friendly.
Would recommend Elounda Palm highly.
There is very little to critique Elounda Palm on, however it would be beneficial to have more sunloungers and umbrellas around the pool area.

The location, close enough to town but not in town. The modern bedrooms decor.
Nothing I didn’t like.

no water provided in fridge. only one coffee machine causing queue at breakfast. no hotel service guide in room

The stay was a real pleasure! The service was very caring, we traveled with a one-year-old child, they always cared about where to seat us, they arranged a high chair for us, made us feel cared for. Very nice facility, nice swimming pool, lots of sunbathing space. Tasty breakfasts. The town of Elounda starts in 5-7 minutes on foot, or you can conveniently travel by bus directly outside the hotel. I recommend!
Salt water in the pool

All the staff were friendly and very helpful with special mention going to the reception staff. Our room was clean, spacious and the beds were really comfortable. The lounge, bar and restaurant areas were all modern and relaxing and the pool and garden areas were really nice to spend time sunbathing in. The choice of food at breakfast was extensive, plentiful and good quality. The location was ideal being a 20 minute walk to Elounda town centre and 15 mins by taxi to Agios Nikolaos which had plenty to see and do.
The only issue was our shower was a bit dated with a broken door and in need of some fresh sealant. Slightly surprised given how good the rest of the facilities were.
