WAS TERRIBLE

Quiet and perfect for an overnight stay. I was only staying briefly before I left early in the morning and it was exactly what I needed.

Nice and cosy. No hot water in the morning cause everyone was using it

Nice quiet location. Room tidy and functional with new reverse cycle airconditioner/heater. Greeted by friendly staff upon arrival.

No plug in sink , no cups, no bowls , what was there looked like it was obtained from a salvos ram raid , mouldy glass in with the clean items . Have to get drinking water from dining room . The buildings are converted workers huts . Would understand if it was priced an accordingly . Would get 4.5 stars for this at the coast . Never again

Nice accommodations that met our needs, being close to skiing.

We booked room 1A. There was a horrible off-milk smell permeating the room. We worked out it was coming from the bathroom and the shower that was badly revamped. So there was nothing we could do about the smell besides closing the bathroom door (even the door handle wasn’t attached properly). The bed dipped to the middle it was so old. The carpet and particularly edges of the room was really dirty, towels were frayed and one had a brown spot. The throw blanket had other people’s hair all over it. Even the kettle had dust on the top. While it was decently located, the roads were riddled with pot holes. So if you have lower-riding cars, driving there was precarious. This was probably one of the worst accommodation I’ve stayed in and that includes hostels!

Has potential, but super unorganised and very oldIt was warm and there was hot water but that’s where the Positives stop. The bathrooms had not been cleaned for the 2 days we were there.I knew it washing going to be 5 star, and I didn’t expect it to be, but a little goes a long way; I only ask for a comfortable mattress and a clean bathroom. Warm and hot water.Fix this and it’s an easy option for accommodations for a snow trip

If this place has ever had a proper clean I will be surprised, dirt and dead fly's everywhere, ant ridden, sleeps 4 but only 2 plates, 2 bowls, no knifes at all supplied, reception is constantly closed with no way to contact owners. No water pressure at all, other units had similar issues, Shower was mould ridden
The place is generally disgusting
If this was the last place in Jindabyne left to stay I would rather sleep in my car in the middle of winter

Nice location in a remote area. Though the facilities were run down and poorly maintained.

The description said ensuite, wifi and tv in the room. The TV had no reception, there was no wifi connection in the room and the shower was just a trickle. Glad I didn’t stay there in the winter. Price was good, but just didn’t match up to what was advertised.

The manager paid careful attention to every detail and request, including extra blankets and firewood, and made sure she was visible on the grounds and available in the office for any questions we had. The room was great and included everything we needed. The games room was a surprise and my son loved playing pool, table tennis and air hockey. We'll be back!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Very friendly staff and really nice clean looking rooms. It was a lovely place not too far from the main town. Would most definitely stay again.

Me and my friends stayed here so that we could ski in Perisher. It’s about 10 minutes drive to Jindabyne and 40 minutes to the slopes. The accommodation was fine, it had 2 heaters and a tv which was great when we wanted to watch the rugby. The WiFi didn’t really work but it didn’t matter as we were just there to get our heads down then get straight to the slopes in the morning.

Room heater didn't really heat up the room properly so we were pretty cold the first night. Even with an extra heater the next evening we could not get it warm at night time.
Wifi didn't work because of winds...
The whole region is overpriced during ski season.
great service and friendly staff though and the location was great!

The water in the 2 bedroom cabin was straight from the river, with filtered water available outside. The room was dirty, with many a ceeepy crawly, and while the peacocks were quaint, don’t expect a sleep in!! Overall, very disappointing.

Very average basic accomodation. Can hear everything through the walls. No wifi or phone reception. You literally are coming here to sleep and then go out to the snow.

The room had all we needed but was a little confusing to work out how the shower worked (it felt like a spaceship with lots of buttons and nobs). Btw hot is on the right.
Little disappointed about how the games room wasn't filled with people. It has great potential and can tell it used to be filled with people. It has heaters, fire place, ping pong tables, pool tables and lots of things to look and talk about on the walls but needed the atmosphere.

A cosy cabin with the essentials needed for a comfortable and quiet stay. Be wary that reception is very limited.

No frills, great staff, 7 mins drive from Barry Way roundabout (if no traffic). Comfortable, clean, parking, all useful amenities incl. microwave, cooktop, fridge, TV.

The room was tiny at 4.5 sq metres. The was just 2 bunk beds and a little niche for coffee making. The only place to sit was on the bed. The walls were paper thin and every noise for the surrounding rooms could be heard. The free wifi didnt exist and there was no mobile phone coverage.

Dry, clean and warm, but cramped and no-frills in a Great Depression kind of way. Yes, it is functional but this is the 21st Century, not WW2. We didn't have an ensuite. Instead we used the outside dunny and shared bathrooms. There wasn't room to swing a cat but at least we could carry on a conversation at close quarters. Signage in our room directed us to the dining room for water but the dining room was locked and the water urn outside was missing the urn. I drove to the drying room because it was so far away from our room. The Games room needs purging of worn out equipment. At least the décor has that rustic look which retro diners try to emulate. Unfortunately, this is genuine.

The bathroom is shared facility outside room. Thats standable. Whats not standable is that the water for bath is tank water, not clean at all. I did not bath during my stay. Room is extremely small for the 2 bed bunk cabinet.
