Service at the hotel was impeccable. Staff went out the way to help cater to my kids needs at breakfast.

Would highly recommend and book again.

I had an excellent overall experience at Corstland for 4 nights. We arrived there with a bit of unusual requirements having a wheelchair person with us. The facility wasn't completely handicapped accessible. However, the staff especially the manager ensured that the best service was provided to assist us! The longer we stayed the more we started liking it. The area is big, specious with a homely and welcoming feeling all around. We enjoyed plucking some local fruits from the hundreds of trees inside the premises. It was incredible. I would definitely love to go and stay there again sometime in future.

Great location for business travellers

Quiet, easy walk to downtown, clean, awesome service

The staff were lovely. The property is old, and showing its age. Parking lot is now starting to act as storage for derelict boats and cars. Location is not a convenient spot, as there are no restaurants close by - the restaurant at the hotel was not open. Room was clean, but the condition is long overdue for renovation. I will again state that the staff were exceptional.

We had a great stay at the Cortsland Hotel. The staff were brilliant and so helpful throughout our stay. The hotel has a nice feel and is well located in St John’s.

totally run down facility, and super expensive for what it is so extremely bad value for money. room wasnt equipped with basics, promises to rectify not kept. staff try but not very hard, or not at all. pool was broken everywhere, dirty and did not seem hygenic. when checking out no one was interested in feedback, or if i enjoyed the stay. the whole place is deperately missing an intensive update and a loving touch, facilties and staff

All of the staff were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful and so welcoming when we returned for a second time later in our trip. It was a convenient place to stay when we changed islands on our way home. The food had a lovely Caribbean flavour although the menu was limited and you had to pre order. Thea pool was great but it was of a walk to the town centre.

We had a wonderful night stay. Visited the lush garden.
Would love to go there again hopefully during the summer months.

Rooms are spacious, amenities are mostly provided. No cups spoons, paper towels. The cost of a meal is very high and ordering is complicated

My son and I had a wonderful time. We arrived on Christmas Day but had no idea the outside dining options were very limited. The staff accommodated us with lunch and dinner and breakfast the next morning. They also assisted with booking our morning tour.
We are thankful for everyone at Cortsland for making our holiday a joyous experience.

Quiet

Proximity to Cedar Valley and the courteous staff.
The menu is limited and the need to have a 3 hour notice for food is an inconvenience
Rooms are missing simple necessities such as bottle openers, the availability of pepper sauce with food etc

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Facilities are a bit dated but well kept. Cold AC in bedrooms, beer and wine available on site but no dining within walking distance.

There were six of us in my group, children 9, 14, 15; we arrived on a Sunday and had a few 29" suitcases, the receptionist was abrupt even with us checking in, pretty much saying "I need passports for everyone" nothing much before and nothing much after. I felt she didn't want to work on a Sunday. The room was on the second floor, approximately 12-14 steps going up, the receptionist is the same person who took us to our room, she was all the way at the top of the steps when I had to call to her and ask her if there was an elevator or someone to help take the bags up, she said "no, no one is working", and that there were no rooms on the first floor. I said we have a lot of bags, that's when she came back down to take my handbag, which is the only item she carried up, never thinking of any options. ROOMS: the set up is one space with a common/shared living room & kitchen, then two rooms (one with two beds and one with three beds). Our room had 3 beds, 1 squeaked loudly, the windows wouldn't close, one of the windows was cracked, on the last day I saw that one of our pillows was rolled up foam padding (similar to what is in a cushion) and the pillow was torn he beds only had the top sheet (no bed cover). the grounds are beautiful, the pool is nice, nothing is really walkable, the beach requires a taxi. Perfect if you don't want to do much and/or don't have high expectations. one of the sliding doors is accessible to outside and was a struggle to lock, common space was stifling

The property is generally clean and well serviced. However some more amenities such as coffee and cream should be provided, including bottled water. I would recommend the property to others. Nice quiet place.

Very friendly, kind, effecient staff. Straightforward, quick check in. Tasty breakfast with accompanying fresh fruits. Comfortable rooms with much needed air conditioning. Beds comfortable and rooms spacious. Good distance from the airport and travel arrangements on demand arrived in a very timely manner. Beautiful well manicured grounds. A good lay over for a night. Thank you!

My experience was a pleasing one. The premises were very clean and staff was amazingly helpful. Definitely recommend

The staff were great and very helpful
Our room was comfortable
However, the website states that
Our dining room is well known for its West Indian specialities and continental favourites. Savour tropical drinks poolside or in the cozy lounge.
This was not open during our stay and there was no ‘shuttle’ to the beach which was one reason for choosing this hotel
We didn’t have a toaster, enough plates, any oven proof dishes to prepare meals in the oven or knives to prepare the food
But we had a very relaxing holiday and enjoyed eating al fresco on our balcony
Thank you

The staff was very friendly and the location was good very easy to walk to the store or down to the port to do some shopping was a good place to sleep if you want somewhere to stay that isn’t all inclusive this would be a good place the front staff was very helpful if you need help getting a taxi as well overall would recommend

The property is a bit tired and a little off the beaten track but the staff more than make up for it. Unbelievably helpful.
2.0
Staff was pleasant and friendly.
However, they were not open with offering dining options available on premises, which I found quit disturbing. No brouchers or mention of services availability.

It was good
