Close to railway station. Comfortable bed. Felt like a great skier’s hotel. But we weren’t skiers.

Small hotel very close to centre of St Moritz. Easy walking distance to shops, buses, and funicular. Walk from station is not far but uphill. We were originally given a cosy room which was ok, but the power sockets and fridge did not work. We enquired at reception and were moved to a much larger room with a balcony overlooking the famous St Moritz clock tower. Much more room and even had a kitchenette. As we stayed 2 nights we were also given an Engadin pass for free use of local transport and cable cars. Overall a very pleasant experience.

The location is so nice. You can get to the gondola station by walking. Also there are lots of restaurants so you’ll never lost your dinners.

Everything was excellent

The room was clean, modern, comfortable and well-equipped with a fridge, coffee machine, TV, plates and cutlery. The bathroom was modern with a lovely, spacious bathtub. The hotel was situated in the town of St Moritz around some restaurants and shops, but with picturesque mountain views in the background. 10-12 minute walk to the train station and the very beautiful St Moritz lake. There's also the shopping centre very close to the lake too. Breakfast was really lovely - continental breakfast with cheeses, meats, yoghurts, ceral, fruits, breads and pastries. The breakfast room is appealing - wooden interior with stags featured in and around the hotel which gave an Alipine appeal. Staff were very polite and friendly. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Very good location.

Small hotel. Good location. Friendly staff in reception Not very impressive breakfast which was a at restaurant who served great dinner btw. Staff in breakfast not serviceminded. Didn’t refill food when emptied out.

First, it was hard to find the entrance. Then, there was no convenience unless you took a taxi. When I check into a hotel, I have an expectation, especially since this is over $300 per night. It doesn’t meet that. Also, the breakfast selection is poor.

When I booked the room, the amenities included a kitchen! When we got there they handed me a paper that said there would be A $60/ day cleaning fee to use the kitchen in the room! If I wanted to use a pan, there was a charge of $25! We couldn’t even heat up our leftovers that we bought at THEIR restaurant!
Also, they say there is a balcony. Maybe for a child! It was so small, you couldn’t sit!
And, they say it’s a 16 minute walk from the train station! When I booked, the website said nothing about it being totally uphill! A taxi was $29!
This place is a ripoff!! They changed the website after we booked! False advertising! We would like at least a partial refund!

The kitchen was a nice option. The bathtub was a high step in and slippery. A bath mat would have been a good idea.

The hotel location is close to the shopping area and plenty restaurants, super market around. The staff is very helpful. We stay one night for the Glacier Express next morning, it was close to the train station and an ideal hotel to catch the train.

Excellent cooperative staff.

Very good hotel, conveniently located. Nice staff, Overall very good.

We enjoyed having a balcony. The inside table and chairs came in handy during cool, rainy weather. Quiet. Shower with deep tub was a bit tricky to get in/out. Although we could occasionally hear a bit of noise from the restaurant below, it was quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was great. Also enjoyed the restaurant for dinner. We walked ~15 minutes uphill from the train station with luggage. Recommend taking a taxi or bus.

The hotel was clean and very comfortable, especially the bed, we had a great sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. It is well located in St Moritz and easy to get to on public transport, although the directions for actually finding the hotel could be better.

Very nice stay. Nice and clean. The staff is very helpfull

Our family appreciated the hospitality. It is a steep area overall, so it is important to be prepared to walk and climb. The rooms were beautiful and fool of swish wood craftsmanship. Scalla restaurant was delicious for breakfast and dinner. The waitstaff were kind and helpful.

The hotel was on the high side of St Moritz which is on the side of a mountain. Room had no kettle, nor cups for tea coffee. Bar was out of action. Building a bit tired. But you need a taxi from the station which is at the bottom of the hill. Impossible to walk up the kilometre. Taxi fare was 40CHF (=40 USD) for 6 minutes!!! Standard fare apparently. Town was dead as only action is during skiing season. So overall a major disappointment

When you check-in to this comfortable little hotel with an Italian flair, the lovely and endlessly helpful Bianca will be waiting for you. Let me just say it straight out - she is GREAT! Very welcoming and no problem is too difficult for her. She gets everything set-up quickly, is full of information that she is ready and eager to share to make your stay more pleasant, and she solves any issue one might have with efficiency and a smile.
My wife and I happened to arrive with a potentially huge problem, and Bianca fixed it in literally 5 minutes. We are so grateful to her.
Additionally, her colleague, a young man also working Reception, seemed like a friendly person, too, who was eager to help. We didn’t get to interact with him too much, but when we did, he was very accommodating, as well. So upon arrival, before we even saw the room, we were already satisfied and happy.
The room was comfortable with a stove and refrigerator, which we didn’t expect, the bathroom was big enough, and there was even a little balcony (we didn’t use it, though - too cold outside).
So we were pleased and do recommend this hotel. Bon voyage!

This was the last stop from Zermatt Glacier Express. Ski season ended so town closed down and quiet. Except Hotel Arte. The restaurant La Salle was outstanding for doing Bernard breakfast. The hotel room had heated towel bar and floors. Don’t let the unassuming hotel and lobby fool you. Beautiful rooms and eatery. Would stay here again.

The hotel restaurant La Stella was a great option for dinning ,breakfast and freindly staff. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at hotel Arte.

Very friendly staff, good size room.

The staff were friendly and the room and hotel were nice. The restaurant associated with the hotel is expensive. Two single beds were pushed together but the instead of a single bed cover you are provided with two separate covers that didn't seem to keep you covered.

Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Arte. Arrived after front desk closed but the staff left my key and other arrival materials where I could fine them when I arrived; front desk not open 24 hours. Hotel is close to everything but it is a steep climb to reach it from the train station. The room was nicely appointed, beds were comfortable and bathroom was large for European standards. Breakfast had both hot and cold options and was very good. Eggs and pancakes are available but you have to ask for them; made to order. Had I not noticed another guest ordering eggs I would not have been aware these hot options were available.

What a lovely place to stay. Close to everything, clean and the staff were lovely. The restaurant serves delicious meals if you want dinner there and also a filling breakfast in the morning. Will definitely stay again.

My husband and I just completed a lovely 2 weeks of winter holiday in Switzerland and Germany. We stayed one night in St Moritz between train trips and wanted a room that was good value for a short stay.
Our room was not at all as the ones pictured on the website. The Kama Sutra (not kidding) paintings on the bed headboard along with the 3-D wall mural of the Taj Mahal, grey carpeting, dark lighting and old wooden furniture was bizarre and bordered on creepy. The lobby was also a bit weirdly furnished with a bunch of junk stashed on and around an unused bar.
The bathroom was modern and clean and the staff were really nice. The location was very central to shopping and an easy walk down to the lake, but don't try to walk up with luggage from the train station!
The restaurant associated with the hotel was decent and served a really good breakfast.
Because St Moritz is so expensive, this was the most expensive hotel room of our trip - and def the poorest.
4.0
The bed was comfortable but the room was a little small. Breakfast was excellent. Checkin was not as smooth as it should have been but the staff were helpful.
5.0
Great hotel, location, and breakfast. The temperature in the room was a bit hot.
6.0
Bad smell in the room, lack of cleaness into the room and lack of service during breakfast. Good position, view and a nice feature the heating of the bed

We only had a one night stay but enjoyed the hotel and it has a great restaurant. Couldn't be located in a better place. We recommend it.
4.0
Hotel was overpriced. Reception staff were helpful. Breakfast was average. Bathroom supplies for an expensive hotel were minimal. Restaurant evening meal was a disappointment. Poor quality high prices.. 5 euro fee to bring tap water to table.. House carbonated water 11 euros was flat before we drank it. Total disappointment..

Be careful which room you book- pictures advertised are for their newly remodeled rooms. The old rooms are what we were originally booked in and had to end up switching rooms because of… let’s just say explicit art on the walls! It was very odd as a mother/daughter pair to be placed in a room with Karma Sutra on the walls! Super awkward for a hotel room in general. We were charged 40 euros to upgrade to another room without weird artwork. This room was fine. The breakfast was 20 ish euros per person and had a terrible selection. Would have absolutely never paid that for breakfast, I’m so glad we didn’t. Overall the upgraded room was a fine place to stay, but we would not stay here again.

The hotel is clean and modern with lots of floor and shelf space. The included breakfast was delicious with a variety of options.

Awful. Not a full service hotel. Breakfast poor.

Lovely hotel

Do not attempt to walk there from the train station. Despite the short distance, it is a high elevation road uphill. Taxi cost about CHF20.
Check in was easy. Very welcoming and helpful. Passage to the room can be adventurous given the pathway and small lift. Fun!
Room is nicely decorated with an amazing view, lovely bathroom and a balcony. Do note that there is no phone in the room. Small boutique hotel so easy to get assistance from the front desk.
Easy access to the shopping street. Very nice breakfast.
