Beautifully maintained and comfortable in the middle of the town. Able to walk to everywhere. Staff showed us a nearby park for hiking with fantastic views. It's on 3rd floor, so if you travel light and able to walk up stairs, it's an amazing place to stay!!

We were pleased with the room, however check in was difficult. I didn’t realize there was no front desk or self check in until we’re boarding our plane (which ended up delayed). Despite messaging with the hotel through hotels.com and advising them of our expected arrival and progress, when we got to the building there was no one to meet us to check us in. The door to the apartments was ajar, so I pushed it to see if we were supposed to just go inside and set off the alarm that woke up several guests. After that, someone arrived to let us into our rooms, and they provided a comprehensive overview of the room. They were great to interact with after that. There was also very loud music and yelling in the street below until well into the night. I think that was due to a special celebration though. Despite all of that, the room was nice, it was a good location - close to restaurants, the boardwalk, and the marina. We would stay again if we knew we would arrive in plenty of daylight and communicate effectively with them prior to arriving in Split.

A small hotel in the heart of the most beautiful pedestrian street in Split. A spacious room, with a window to the crowded pedestrian street. Close to the mall that has stores like Zara and Teznis. Close to Diocletian's Palace, the promenade and the beach. The room has 2 separate beds and pleasant and luxurious bedding. In the bathroom, liquid soap in an impressive dispenser, hair dryer and very pampering white towels. There is a minibar, kettle, tea, coffee and powdered milk. The room is decorated in a modern look and everything is new, clean and beautiful. The owner of the place, a lovely girl who helped us every day and brought an ice cube from home so that we could keep my husband's medicine at the necessary temperature. She carried our luggage up 3 floors by herself. Great hotel, highly recommend it!

Great location in old town near restaurants, shopping,etc. Very clean and spacious. Host was very easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend this apartment for a visit to split.

This was an outstanding place to stay and the host, Ivana was very welcoming and lovely to deal with. The only issue I have is the noise outside at night. If you stay here, definitely bring earplugs as there is a bar scene outside the accommodation that goes on late into the night. By wearing earplugs, I was able to get a good nights sleep and a very comfortable bed but without it, I would suggest you have some difficulties. Fining the place is a challenge. On the street there is a subtle green door with an even more subtle small sign up in the top left corner for the accommodation. Once you find it, you’re good to go.

The room was good. Lots of security devices to get in & leave. We didn’t see the note about stairs or no elevator in the advertisement, but, did verify that info WAS included in the ad. We would NEVER booked with the amount of stairs and lack of elevator. Our bad.

Staff were extremely helpful. Gave clear instructions to find the place and advised us on things to see and do. Room was very small but nicely renovated. We were able to leave our bags there after checking out. Lucky for us a nice young man carried our suitcases up over 70 stairs!

Awesome boutique hotel, great bed and shower. As with a lot of smaller hotels in Split, no lift so be prepared to walk 4 floors with your bags.

Great place, room was perfect for our needs, great air conditioning, clean and spacious. Staff are very nice and friendly, the only issue is that its right in the centre of town, and while it's convenient, it's also really noisy at night, to the point where we could hear people and music until 4am. Keep this in mind, and bring ear plugs.

We had a short stay in Split before going to Hvar and it was the perfect location for that. Barely can’t be more central than this. Everything from check in to check out went smoothly.

We stayed in the Ocean View Suite. It was amazing. Staff was so helpful and responsive. Close to everything. Only drawback was the night club across the street. It was loud at all hours with people coming and going. I slept with ear plugs so it didnt bother me but something for families with young kids to be aware of. Would definately stay again if I am ever in the area.

Amazing stay in clean rooms right on the main street. Quiet and comfortable with veeery nice and cold air conditioner. The breakfast was served at a luxury restaurant 100m from the hotel at the boardwalk. Nice selection, you can choose between full breakfast, french toast, poached eggs…

What a perfect place to stay in Split! The accommodations were clean and modern- looked just like the pictures. The host was very kind and helpful. Location was amazing - right on one of the main streets in old town. It wasn’t noisy so windows just have been good. Comfortable bed and nice shower. There was no lift/elevator and 3 flights of stairs, so that would be the only challenge if you had any physical limitations. Overall this was a fantastic place to stay. We would come back here for sure!

Good stay. Clean rooms. Check in times are not very flexible as there is no 24 hrs reception desk. Host at the property explained everything well once we arrived and gave a brief idea on what we could do in the city during our stay.

Very nice Rooms, no elevator and 4 stairs up. Very noisy from the street outside and a lot of bars right outside you heard all night. Very central and good rooms.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had plenty of room. The rooms are on the third floor, so many steps to climb-no lift. Our room was at the front and there was noise from the nightclub across the street. Would stay here again!

Only slight misadvertisement was that on hotels.com it said baggage storage, however they were only willing to store luggage of you booked an expensive airport taxi through them, however there is luggage storage nearby at the bus station for a reasonable price

Straight on one of the main streets of the entire city! Amazingly nice reception and service team that provides great advice. Super clean space big enough for 2 people! We really enjoyed the location and the restaurants near by, also really close to port and the bus station as well as ferries to other islands such as Braç. Would definitely stay here again if given the option! The only thing I’d just make sure you know is that it’s a historically designated hotel, so make sure you realize there’s no elevator if you have a big bag. It’s on floor 4 of a walk up, and I had to carry my quite large luggage up and down. But just note it, totally fine to live with but be aware of it.

Great location but remember - it is an historic building with no elevators. Sometimes we found door to property at street level was unlocked as well as the door to the apartments on 3rd floor. Lots of revelry and noise on street and city square by young people until early morning hours on a Friday night. Closed window and a/c helped but sleeping was disturbed.

My stay at Marmontova was good. If you look for a department in the city center this might be a good option. But if you need a quiet place during your stay this might be not the best one.

The property is in a good area, easy access to all landmarks and restaurants. Also I want to thanks to Adriana and Ivana for being such a wonderful couple. They are so friendly and kind, during our stay we had health issues but Ivana was really helpful. Thanks again guys, we wish you all the best. Hope see you again

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom with great instant hot water and good water pressure. Nice to have hot water kettle for coffee or tea. Location was great and easy walk to all the sites. Host was friendly and offered great suggestions for where to eat and what to see. Definitely recommend Marjan park! One note is that there is no elevator so there is a hike of 4 flights of stairs and because of central location, can get quite noisy. I did fine with ear plugs.

The room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the old city. The owner was very friendly and helpful and it had great Wi-Fi. If you have mobility issues, you need to know it is on the third floor with no elevator. We loved it and would stay there again.
