What a great place to stay. And like previous reviewers have mentioned it's the management/owners that make this place special. From our pick up at the ferry docks to our departure in a hired van to the nearest airport that the hotel arranged our stay was wonderful. No pool but a short walk puts you on one of the nicest, clean and empty beaches I have ever seen. Warm water with gentle waves and gorgeous sunsets. Bar/restaurants along the beach and all along the main road within short walking distance. We rented a car for a day of exploring (love a/c so no scooter for us) and the hotel arranged for delivery. Thats service. A/C worked well in the room and there is also a fan. Nice bathroom and everything was sparkling clean. The owner speaks great english and the pro bono concierge Susan will be happy to recommend the best eateries and sights to see. And an hour at the table in front of registration desk is always hoot. You can't go wrong with Ser-En-Dip-I-Ty. Chill out and have another Chiang beer. Oh. And I almost forgot to mention the feline welcoming committee that will be available for your and their petting pleasure should you so desire.

There was very nice and helpful owner and his friend. The owner took care of the scooter rent and transportations so everything was made easy for visitors. The room was very clean and AC was great. There were eating tools and big fridge in the room. We stayed for 5 nights and could stayed much longer. Could recommendbthis to anybody.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. We missed our drive to the ferry and the man who helped run the hotel drove us. We were extremely grateful! The hotel is in a great location, very close to the beach.

Spent 2 nights here. Great location so close to the beach. Immaculately clean. Spacious room and bathroom with full tub. The only thing I missed was a pool as it was so hot. Good thing beach is a 2 minute walk.

This was our 3rd stay and it just keeps getting better and better.
Simple accommodation but extremely clean and comfortable. Great shower and air con.
The owner Bung is so friendly and will help with anything you might need during your stay.
Close to the beach and restaurants. We will be returning again

The hotel itself is actually pretty great. It is basic for sure, but it is clean, has cold AC and hot water with very comfortable beds/pillows for Asia.
Love the little touches like foot wash at each room, broom to sweep up sand, free water daily, and spacious clean rooms.
The only negative for me at the property is the guy who runs the place. On one hand he’s super friendly and helpful, but on the other he isn’t. If he’s irritated with you or in a bad mood, you feel his energy all around the property. As all hotels do here in Koh Lanta, he offers services to book cars, tours, ferries, etc. However if you use any other place he gets irritated with you. And unfortunately, EVERY other place we spoke with always quoted cheaper rates from the start. He will eventually match the price, but why haggle? Just go to another place that offers fair prices from the start.
Honestly that was the most disappointing thing about this place. He has the opportunity to really build trust and relationships with guests by offering competitive pricing, but he doesn’t. And then he’s irritated because as he said ‘tourists just want everything so cheap Im lucky to make 50 baht’. My point is - we are staying here already, giving you business, your goal should be to give the best to your guests not get every penny out of us that you can. Otherwise I’d love to stay here again. Perfect location too!

Really enjoyed our stay in Koh Lanta. Mr Bung was an amazing host, really friendly and helpful - even booked our ferry to Phi Phi for us. Excellent speedy laundry service and motorbikes for rent for 200 baht a day, no questions asked. The room was basic but plenty of toiletries and fresh towels each day. Plenty of cute, friendly cats around too. The island itself was extremely quiet due to it being low season but was nice and peaceful on the beaches and still enough restaurants open throughout the stay. Only about a 5 minute moped ride to Lanta Animal Welfare, the highlight of our stay.

Bung was an amazing host. He helped us rent a scooter bike (200 baht per day) and provided me with a "no-crash course" as I am not very comfortable on a bike. He also arranged our transfer to krabi even though we were staying somewhere else the final day
Higher recommend!

I enjoyed my stay very much. There is a restaurant called N & N just beside this place, they make delicious food. I ate there everyday. They make the best papaya salad. The owner of this place was very helpful. We rented his motorbike at a cheaper rate as compared to bike shops outside. Ask him any question, hed be glad to help. I will definitely come back here next time.

I had a very nice experience. The owner is a very good person and really helpful for anything we needed during our stay. The beach is very close and you can rent a scooter to explore the island. Totally worth the price. I recommend this hotel

This is a little gem only minutes from the beach. There are only 6 bungalows in 3 lots of 2 with their own veranda, table and seating. The rooms are spacious, clean, kitted out with all you really need. Theres no hairdryer, iron or airier but Im guessing that these bungalows attract people travelling, so doubt they would be needed. Bang the Manager (poss the owner) lives in the house opposite and is around most of the time. He was kind enough to pick us up from the ferry and take us back a couple if days later. The bungalows are near a few other small similar resorts, Serendipity looked by far the nicest of them all. Unfortunately we went end if June and Ko Lanta was dead bar or restaurant wise. Technically its Winter so a lot of work was being done ready for the new season or places were just closed, even in nearby Saladan. Also it was Ramadan,p so nowhere much was open during the day, we just visited at the wrong time.Just around the corner from the bungalow is a great little cafe. As others have mentioned, they do great coffee, breakfasts and make THE most amazing pancakes...and the guy running it is so friendly.
