Excellent value and location.A bitnoisy at night with doors frequently banging
4.2
For its location this place is great, easily walkable to lots of tourist places and easily connects to local and national trains.
The downside is the noise and the “service” - the first night wasn’t too bad but the second night people were coming in past midnight and moving between rooms, banging doors which shook my room to the point that earplugs were useless. People in and out of kitchen/bathroom/rooms and my room was right opposite the lift too.
Breakfast is nice to have included and pretty good though it won’t win any culinary awards. It’s a student canteen set up but good to be able to grab something.
Overall good value but I will be bringing noise cancelling headphones instead of earplugs next time and asking for a room further away from the main thoroughfares.

The place was clean, staff were friendly and helpful.
It was quiet and calm.
But, the shower was freezing and the light above my mirror didn't work, which made doing my makeup in the morning a little difficult.
4.2
A lot of road noise on Maple street side at night. But otherwise a great location and great facilities.
4.2
Excellent service thank you

For the price, I can't complain. Yeah, the showers could be cleaner and there is sometimes a line for breakfast, but we were in the theatres we wanted to go to after a 20min foot walk.
The staff was very kind and the room was clean and perfect for a 1 week stay.
4.2
No shower available. Asked to move room but wasn't permitted. And breakfast advertised to open at 0730 didn’t start until 8pm.
4.2
Very friendly and helpfull staff! The room, the toilets and bathrooms were clean and fresh The place was located between two subway stations so it was easy to get there. The only minus, and thats a big one, was the mattress. It was horrible and thin. If it wasn't for the bad mattress, I would have given this place a top score
4.2
We liked the location and the room. The breakfast was amazing. The toilets were clean and easily accessible not far from the room. The showers needed a good clean and there was only 1 available with a door.
4.2
Great location, with basic amenities. Great breakfast

Bear in mind the shared toilets are close together stalls with open tops - so you will be very close to whoever is next to you - male or female. Late at night, I had the pleasant experience of having to walk past in a stall with a man who failed to close the door. In the morning, be prepared to have to hold open the door for people walking out the shower in their towel across the corridor to their room. I understand why the facilities are mixed, it would just be nice if at least there were separate ladies loos so you could have a little more privacy. Luggage storage was closed, but was not forewarned and just told at checkout. Staff were otherwise lovely.

I had a blast during my stay, but, truth be told, my sleep wasn't exactly a dream come true. My room on the 4th floor was cozy, but the shared bathroom door had a flair for drama — it slammed shut with a resounding "BAM" every time someone used it, keeping me wide awake most of the night. A soft-closing feature would've been a game-changer. But aside from that little hiccup, everything else was top-notch. The location was spot-on, the staff were absolute gems, breakfast was a feast, the bed felt like a cloud, and cleanliness was flawless.
4.2
Close to campuses and Euston and Kings Cross.
Facility/Cleanliness wise I prefer Bankside.
Breakfast is decent and filling, even with Italian ham.
4.2
Best value for money if you are a single traveller. 10 min walk distance to Oxford street, many good pubs cafes are around. Quite safe neighbourhood. Clean bedsheets and room. Breakfast was good and included
Shower and toilets are at common space and toilets are unisex.
4.2
The two ladies on reception were very sweet and welcoming. The room was fine. I did take my own pillow which was a bonus.
Unfortunately, the bathroom outside my set of rooms was out of order. The breakfast was amazing, and the lady dishing it up was amazing. I’ve booked stay again

Everything in general was very good, I have no complaints about the apartment. They are nice people and I loved the location: it is a quiet place, very well connected and with a lot of variety to eat whatever your tastes are. I'm saving the place in case there is a next time, without a doubt.

It was amazing!

Well located. Clean rooms and shared space. Very good breakfast. Functional shared kitchen. Common laundry setting is available.

i have stayed in 2 other LSE properties in the past - LSE bankside in 2017 and LSE Rosebery Hall in 2021.
i think LSE Carr-Saunders is probably the worse mainly because there was a VERY LONG QUEUE at the restaurant. i waited in line for 30 minutes, the corridor was narrow, the line was moving slow, soo many people for food. Poor crowd control.
you should learn from LSE Bankside. their dining hall is spacious and the lines move fast.
only 2 lifts but one was not in service, so had to wait a very long time for the one and only lift which was always full at breakfast.
4.2
The room was immaculate, the staff were attentive and friendly, the food was plentiful. So much better than my usual Premier Inn corporate hotel stays
4.2
This was a very cheap option on a Saturday night. You are staying in a University dorm, so don't expect a hotel, but it was absolutely fine if you are looking for something clean, cheap and well located, with a generous free breakfast.
4.2
Great central location, near tube and oxford st. Great breakfast. Room was clean and spacious. Bed could have been more comfortable.
4.2
Good Hotel for Budget Trips. It is what it is a Student dorm. Rooms are small but you have everything you need. Huge positive thing are the table tennis and pool table in the common area.
4.2
The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the bed was one of the worst I've experience in any paid accommodation.
4.2
A well-located and clean place to stay with good breakfast options. Only 10 mins from both Euston and Tottenham Court Road.
4.2
Had to check out a day early for unforeseen reasons but just to make it clear (incase staff reading) nothing wrong with the accomodation. If it's cheaper booking here (of course not possible all year round) than a hotel then it's a good budget option that isn't a hostel or has unexpected fees.
4.2
Very convenient for the station. A welcome and tasty breakfast and very pleasant staff.

Good
4.2
It was very nice and cozy only super warm and no airconditioning
4.2
Well located no-frills place to stay. Student accommodation during term time so you can expect a small room but ideal for a non-fussy solo traveller. Shared toilet / shower facilities. Good WiFi. Reasonably quiet given you're in Central London but some noise in this type of accommodation should be expected. Great value for money
Near to the West End, Regents Park & British Museum
4.2
Very hot room and the tap didnt work in the bathroom. However amazing breakfast and location, clean room, quiet. Would definitely use again
4.2
Central hostel style perfectly adequate.
Kenny on the front desk made the stay

Place is very clean and safe for travellers. Great breakfast included. Very clean. All female staff on reception exceptional. Staff Only issue was noise until 1am from local bar.
4.2
Good London location, good breakfast and good value for money. Morning street noises.
4.2
Terrible bed, everything quite run down and dirty feeling. Location is great.
4.2
Need signs to display where showers are. And maybe throw a toilet on the floors instead of just the bottom floor, and if there was more toilets on each floor, signs babes
4.2
Great value for money. 5 mins walk from Warren Street tube. 15 min walk to Oxford Street.
Breakfast was included - loads of options (cooked, toast, fruit, coffee machine, juices).
Rooms were quiet. Shared separate toilet and showers - but plenty and were clean. Would recommend and stay here again
4.2
It was alright for the price. The beds mattress springs dug into our back as well as the mattress sort of dipping in at the middle. There were two male staff members sometimes at the front who were rude at each interaction. The ladies were lovely but the two men were always quite rude to speak to. The windows definitely don't have any form of soundproofing so expect to hear the world outside at night. Breakfast was quite good though, was typical hotel breakfast only difference was it not being self service so had a limit on how much you could grab. Bring your own hair dryer also, not provided.
4.2
Basic recommendation but everything I need is there.
4.2
Great location, very well connected on tube lines, no more than 5mins in several directions to a number of stations with direct line from London Euston. Great that they allow baggage storage prior to arrival and on day of departure. Room was pleasant, although it was very very hot and the pull out double bed on the back of a desk was very creaky so had a disturbed sleep. Overall, doing London on a budget I was pleased and i would stay again.
