Very good place but only there for an over night. Very clean room, comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, view of the NY skyline was AMAZING. Proximity to PATH lines is great 👍. Will return.

Great hotel close to Manhattan. Really good view of the skyline. The Path station is located next to the hotel. Personal I would like regular yougurt without vanilla as an option for breakfast. I will stay here again.

Our original stay was fine but when we had to extend our stay we found maid service was sporadic even when requested. Nice breakfast but we found our selves on two mornings all being compressed into the waiting area as the breakfast area was going to be used later in the day. Location was perfect, beds comfortable.

Great room. Wonderful view from roof top bar. Breakfast was great. But the best thing was the staff. They were so helpful and really were great to work with.

Spent our family holiday with Hyatt House. Had very friendly welcoming staff. Layout of the hotel and room was easy to navigate. Well stocked breakfast with one our two things changed each day. Room cleaned and restocked each second day. Location of hotel to adjacent subway made easy access to Manhattan and rooftop bar area hreat for drinks and amazing views.

Stayed there on my trip to NYC. PATH station is right outside. Easy trip to Manhattan. Clean, great reception service. Stunning view on the top floor where you eat breakfast. Great boardwalk along to river to walk with a view both day and night. Free breakfast didn't disappoint. I would highly recommend.

I recently stayed at Hayatt House New jersey and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. There were several issues that made my stay unpleasant: The staff was unresponsive and unhelpful. When I requested assistance with Water in the room,it took an unreasonably long time to receive any help and i didn’t get any water for my room.the staff was so rude! There was a severe lack of communication from the hotel staff. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay at Hayatt House New jersey I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues promptly. Improving these aspects could make a significant difference in the experience for future guests.

Hotel is very clean but their staff needs to get trained. Especially one in downstairs lobby. People can get easily confused because lonby is upstairs to check in. They need to work on their breakfast as well. Poor service

This was a perfect, quiet location just outside of New York City, with a quick, cheap ride on the Exchange station PATH or the Paulus Hook ferry to get across to Manhattan. We were able to get all the “city” time we wanted and needed, with quick access to the subway, while also being able to relax in our space at the Hyatt. Lovely views for breakfast and at the rooftop restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay! Room was clean and quiet.

Very nice hotel, very modern and everything was exceptional. It’s particularly convenient if you want to stay close to New York City and not pay New York City prices. There’s a train station right in front of the hotel (not even a minute walk) which makes it super easy to get around. The hotel is located in a very nice area by the water where there’s a boardwalk and you can see the New York skyline, which makes for great pics.

The hotel was great. It was close to the subway to get to New York. Literally right across the hotel is the subway. Staff were friendly. The down side is that it doesn’t have a pool.

This hotel was a fantastic choice for our family of 5, for 2 days in Manhattan, at the tail end of a New England road trip. We parked our minivan in the neighbouring structure, which felt very secure & was reasonably priced. PATH station is right there, and Manhattan (WTC station) is a quick 4 minute subway ride. Views of the skyline are amazing. Room was clean, staff were pleasant, breakfast was decent for a hotel buffet - views & location were stellar.

We stayed in Hyatt House Jersey City for 7 nights. Overall it was a lovely stay - we were given a room on the 12th floor with an amazing view of the Manhatan skyline across the river. Room was spacious, good shower and comfortable bed. Hotel was within walking distance to PATH, HBLR and ferries so very convenient. Area around hotel was lovely and safe with lots of dining options. Wifi was excellent and fast. Rooftop bar also has the most amazing views as well. Some negatives: breakfast was pretty basic and finishes at 9am on weekdays, only 2 lifts to get to 13th floor lobby which can sometimes take ages to come and one of the staff on the grund / level floor was pretty abrupt (the rest were generally ok). The worst night we had was on Saturday where a loud party on the rooftop kept us awake beyond mindnight - apprarently this happens every weekend - the rest of the stay was fine though. Overall 8/10 stay - thanks and well done!

Some members of staff were flippant and not helpful, basic hotel instructions provided unclear and badly written. Room was not in great shape and be aware you do not qualify for Hyatt points if you book through Expedia.

Gorgeous pier you can walk down and take in city lights and a Starbucks next door. Super safe area, and the staff were fantastic. Also- the free breakfast is amazing.The rooms were lovely and the whole hotel had a vintage vibe. The parking structure is right across from the hotel. Cannot say enough good things!

Clean. Nice breakfast buffet but avoid a room on the Eleventh Floor if you want to get to sleep. Heard music. Vibration from floor above all night. Not sure if it was a party or disco but you could hear and feel til after 2am.

We just stayed for a weekend family visit. The location was great, but we expected more from the hotel. Except for the artwork, the rooms themselves are quite dated. Having a kitchenette was nice, but we had problems with the dishwasher. The mattress was not very comfortable and the sofa seats also needed more support. The bathroom was clean. Free breakfast was also a plus and there was a good selection. Our biggest complaint is that if you have a room on the higher floors you are too close to the nightclub and the music was so loud it went right through to our room and went on until 1 AM. This is a problem every weekend.The parking garage is not very convenient or accessible. No in and out privileges. iThe main advantage of this hotel is the location, which is very convenient to NYC via train and Ferry and to other areas of Jersey City via Light rail, all right outside the door. The views of the NYC skyline and river are spectacular from the restaurants and along the pier.
