My favorite restaurants were literally steps away. The shopping on the short walk to the beach was amazing. Staff texted me when needed and responded to a request within minutes. Can't ask for better!!

I loved it!! Very unique place, super cute!!

We recently returned from Sayulita and our stay at the Papelillo lofts. Positives of this unit; You are in the heart of the city, the unit itself (Loft 6) gave of plenty of space, short walk to the beach. The lady on site "Mariana" is so very lovely. There is a language barrier but we used google translate to communicate which worked well. The con to the unit for myself was the lack of cleanliness (counters, floors, bathroom ect). I did not complain as that is not my way. I did ask for dish clothes and dish towels and Mariana provided these for us quickly. I knew when booking this unit that it was in the heart of the city and that there would be nightly noise to the wee hours of the morning. (this held true) I knew this before i booked and brought earplugs and headphones. If you want a quieter place you will need to sleep outside of the downtown core. Overall, we enjoyed our time in Sayulita.

The lofts are really cool urban flats. Open spacious floor plan Beds are super comfortable and we appreciated the nice linens. It is a great location close to everything. Be prepared for a bit of noise but it's worth it! We would stay there again

The room was big, however, it was dark. There were no hangers for the shower towels, so they had to be spread out throughout the room. There was no staff when I arrived. There was one person that worked in the store next door that open the door of the hotel and my room. I was given no instructions and I was charged the wrong amount because she didn't work there. The next someone that worked in a nearby hotel came to the Papelillo Lofts to charge the remaining amount. There was no one in the hotel that worked there, only the cleaning lady.
At the end of my stay the property manager that I had contact only with WhatsApp messages, charged me $200 MXN pesos (appx. $10 DLR) for staining a face cloth. I did not stain it because the only face cloth that I used was still in the bathroom and it was perfectly fine. I tried to talk and explain that that wasn't my fault, but they insisted that I had to pay it anyway. I definitely don't recommend this property to anyone.

I loved staying here, we stayed in loft 3 and it was wonderful. The staff was very nice and even though there isn't a front desk they very promptly answered my messages through Expedia. The room was very clean and nice when we arrived. The cleaning service is phenomenal she was the sweetest women I've ever met. The staff doesn't speak english but we had no problems communicating with them using google translate or text messages. There was a fan in our room and with it on we couldn't hear any noise from outside which was great since the location is practically steps from the square and the taco stand with the best pastor in town is directly below you. We were literally 3 minutes from the beach, 2 from the square, and there was an Oxxo right across the street for snacks and water. This place was very well priced for how comfy the bed was, how nice the bathrooms were, and its location. Our loft didn't have a living room or kitchen but I know others do and ours did have a mini fridge and microwave. I wouldn't recommend this for a family with younger kids but for people in there twenties or families with kids 12 and up or a couple this is a great place if you're looking to be a short away from the best restaurants, the beach, and the night life this is the perfect place to stay. Not to mention the Wifi was also fantastic. After reading some reviews I was skeptical of how my stay would go but the amenities and service blew me and my boyfriend away.

I was not given a correct key on check in

Big, hip, spacious place in the heart of downtown. Close to everything, but also a bit noisy at night, so just be aware of that. The place was clean and nice. We enjoyed it.

The place is nice though expensive I thought. But the management of the place was terrible. I could not pay with my credit card and had to assume more fees to pay with Paypal. The Internet was running at 1MB/sec, impossible to do zoom calls. I was supposed to get a refund for my 3rd night (I cancelled it to go elsewhere) and it has been 1 month and I am still chasing after my $. Its just not worth the trouble.

Great sized room. Ample space. Center of town.

A completely different hotel than what was pictured. Do not stay

I chose this place because we were traveling with kids, and I don’t like to stay in hotels with them because they’re not tiny, but also not old enough to be in their own rooms. In that aspect, this place was great, because it had a king size bed downstairs and two twins in the loft, upstairs. The space was aesthetically beautiful. But you don’t stay in a hotel for style. You stay for there for sleeping, resting, and convenience. None of that was possible in this space.
It’s hard to find hotels that DONT have Wi-Fi, but I’ve definitely come across some in Mexico. I had two classes I was hoping to be able to take, on zoom, while here. I had paid for those classes. I was unable to take them because there was no Wi-Fi at all, during our entire stay. The guy, Jose (he was really nice), kept restarting the modem but it never did work during our entire stay, besides a short 3-hour window the first night.
They had 3 “air conditioners”, but only one (in the kids loft - I realized too late or I would have slept up there with them) worked. It was super hot and uncomfortable. Normally, I would have opened the windows to get SOME air and circulation in BUT there were cockroaches and I didn’t want any more coming in.
Shower was gross and water wouldn’t drain.
Lastly, it is EXTREMELY NOISY and you may as well be sleeping out on the balcony in the middle of party alley. No sound insulation whatsoever. Bring heavy duty earplugs and some serious sleeping pills.

Found this gem last minute booking, and very happy with the outcome. It’s location is right in the center and very convenient to walk everywhere in town. It’s very clean as well and has the downtown loft feels to it.. loved this place.. would definitely stay here again

Super nice facilities and amenities. Service is good as well as cleaning. Good option if you dont know Sayulita and want to be on the heart of the town where everything is happening.
Too noisy, if you want to rest I would recommend book another place.

This was an okay hotel. It was quite noisy until about 2A.M. due to its central location and restaurant downstairs. The room had a bit of a musty smell and 1 of the lamps was missing a bulb.
5.0
Beautiful loft space, 2 separate sleeping areas in the unit we stayed in. The upstairs loft bed was accessed via a steep staircase/ladder. Fair bit of city noise and light comes into the room, I'd suggest bringing earplugs and eye masks.

This place over books room. You get stuck with what ever is left not clean at all very dirty

Great design and nice space. Was given a much smaller room even although we payed for the loft. Staff doesn’t speak English and it took several hours to sort it out.
Very noisy at night as it’s in the middle of the club scene. Bring ear plugs. Cool place!

Just the best experience imaginable. Perfect hotel in a perfect town. Go!!!!

Very close and walking distance to the beach, stores and restaurants, excellent customer service

Everything is unique, creative, comfortable and delightful in a super convenient location. We loved the cafe music. Perhaps the the best part is the amazing management. We felt so at home in a friendly, helpful environment. We didn’t want to leave! ❤️

Great location, pretty darn good amenities

We have been to Sayulita three times and this was our favorite place to stay so far. Modern, new, spacious and well laid out. We loved the private terraces and loft bed. We were there just as a couple but I’d gladly come back with friends as the lofts could comfortably sleep 4+ adults.
A/C worked great and checkin was easy. Just be aware that there are many stairs, so if you’re bringing heavy luggage, prepare for lifting.

The loft we had was huge. It was one flight up, right in heart of downtown. We had a balcony overlooking the street and an excellent Italian restaurant. If you are looking to experience the vibrancy and community of Sayulita this is the place for you. Noe was an excellent host who went over and above the call of duty to help us out several times. It's not quiet, but it could not have been a better time for me and my family.

It says premium bedding and it is not. It is extremely noisy late at nighr and early in the morning. The place is nice, very modern, cool. But there is no restaurant in the morning... it shpuldnt be called hotel... it is a plain rental... just not for me. I like to rest at night in a confortable bed... too expensive for the kind of confort . People whomsty here need to know before booking. Younger crowds that dont mind noise, and want to stay in a cool place..in the middle of rhe town

Nice interior but questionable cleaniness amd loud music from the restaurant downstairss. Sofa Smells like vomit. Lots of sand on shower room. Language barrier with staff. Very very loud music until 11pm from the restaurant downstairs.

Very cool lofts, awesome design, great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again. We stayed on a Friday night, so the nightlife was going late and was a little loud, but that would be an issue anywhere downtown.

Easy check in, walking distance to everything, comfy bed clean space, helpful staff, and easy check out.

If you value your sleep DO NOT STAY HERE.
I booked this trip for my daughter and I after being sick for over a year, it was supposed to be a relaxing celebration of life for us.
These lofts are in the center of the town on the busiest part of the town. It is extremely loud and chaotic. The noise never ended, once the band stopped playing at midnight at the restaurant below us all the street noise took over: endless cars, dogs barking, roosters, partiers, drunk people making loud noise playing music ALL NIGHT LONG. I contacted the manager after about 6 hours of our arrival to let him know my story and that I needed to move and would appreciate a refund. He first made some excuses and then said he'd forward my info to the owner, she lives out of town. I also got on the phone with Expedia and spoke to about 4 different people having to repeat my story each time and still getting nowhere. It was horrific, my daughter was in tears all night, we couldn't even hear each other while sitting next to each other! The place is gorgeous to look at, but bed isn't comfortable at all, noise level is toxic and altogether an unpleasant experience.
I have emailed the owner numerous times, haven't heard back from her. I gave Expedia her number and she has refused to refund us, even though we moved out the following day ( with 3 more nights to go).
she is unreasonable and lacking in compassion. this place will ruin your vacation!

Stayed there for five days and could not have been happier! The room was spacious and comfortable with lots of light, the live music from the resturant downstairs created a relaxing atmosphere to sleep. The entire town is within walking distance and it’s only a couple blocks from the beach! Will for sure visit there again next time in Sayulita

I would most definitely stay here again. There is a grocery store right across the street and also a wonderful butcher shop right below. The restaurant below is exceptional. 5 min walk to main beach and about 20 mins to another smaller beach. Very safe here and family friendly.

We were impressed with the look and cleanliness of the hotel- very trendy, all the amenities, air conditioning, lots of air circulation through the windows. Location is as central as it gets, which is what we were looking for. Access to the best food, beach close by also.
Staff is wonderful, really understand customer service.
Time of year we visited is very busy in Sayulita and I had no idea how loud the town is! Hotel room provided ear plugs which is an absolute necessity. This is obviously a downside the hotel cant help but good to know for other travelers - party spot for sure.
Bed was not the most comfortable we’ve slept on, I’d suggest bringing your own pillow if you have any back/neck issues
2.5
Great location! Heart of sayulita, only concern we had was we rented a car for a wedding and there is absolutely NO alarming nearby. Took us about an hour to drive around and find parking. Next time we’re just taking a taxi into town and staying put! Awesome lofts, great food/drinks and fun all walking distance!!
2.5
Unique hotel, felt more like a loft apartment. Friendly staff and overall great experience. Right in the heart of downtown and walkable to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. We had 2 balconies with great views. Loved it.

Loft has ample space and a modern kitchen. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and if you want to be in the thick of the town, then this is a good place to start, but be warned... it is LOUD! Bamboo roof allows in all the surrounding noise. Jazz trio in restaurant downstairs until 11pm. Booming night club until 2am. Dogs barking, birds chirping, cars and loudspeakers blaring! To say, bring “ear plugs” is an understatement! I used my noise cancelling 🎧 to drown it all out. Not ideal unless you are there for a good time, not a longtime.

This is a perfect hotel if you want to entertain inside your room. We had the room with the loft bed upstairs and it's own balcony in which you can drink your coffee and peer over the town of Sayulita before everyone rises. The main floor of also has another balcony with plenty of seating for 6 where we had friends come over for mixed cocktails in the evening.
Overall, a nice hotel, perfect location two blocks from the extreme night action, I would stay there again.
