It's somewhere to sleep. The rooms are incredibly small, the bathrooms are poor, and there are no TVs.
The entrance and bar are very nice, and I like the giving back ethos.

Great compact room. Staff are lovely and the experience is really enjoyable. Perfect for the dome. Perfect to work in also.

Hotel was very cute and a plus on the dock . Room was a bit smaller so we did have limited space for things to be out and open. My room had a water view which was nice . Trains are located close to the hotel which made it easy getting to central London with no problems

It was a run-down hotel on an old container ship. It should have been a 2 stars hotel rather than a 4 star hotel! They have invested everything in making the lounge area looks like a nice boutique hotel.
Room had poor heating, freezing cold at night and the window completely wet with condensation. Double room had two truckle beds put together so woke up in the gap between the beds.
Carpets were dirty in the room and corridors, the bathroom was very small and unfresh, the toilet did not work as it should so had to change room once.
Lounge area and breakfast was fine.

The hotel is in a great location with great views over the Victoria Dock, and people swimming by! Very welcoming staff. One criticism is that the bathrooms are small so it's easy to bump into things. Very good buffet breakfast at tables with views over dock.

Should state no tv or ironing board in room
This is really the minimum expectation of a room these days

Cons:
Small rooms, noisy hallways, no space to open suitcase, small bathroom, flush on toilets are not strong and is frustrating.
Pros:
Good location for events, good reception area and staff.

Hotel looks nice but isn’t all what it seems.
The rooms are very small and basic you can hear everything from the next room. Kept awake all night but the sound of the neighbouring room snoring, the walls must be made of paper. You can hear running water constant from the other rooms. The fan makes a noise constant even when not in use. Room was clean however not good for sleeping in

Great place, close to the metro.

Extremely small overcrowded room average cleaning no breakfast for that money... It was ok for one night but I regret I even stayed there
4.0 / 10.0
My stay was pretty good, the room was enough for one person. A couple of remarks: there are no outlets close to the kettle, so it had to be moved around. My biggest problem with the room was that I could hear everything the guest on the room next to mine was doing (inclusing snoring after they went to sleep), so that was kind of annoying. Bre

Loved the ethos of the hotel. Clever design and bed really comfy

Okay hotel but it was so tricky to get to because the train which runs right next to the hotel wasn’t running. I do understand this isn’t the hotels fault but it would have been nice to be sent a warning beforehand or told upon check in. I was going to an event that evening and the replacement rail bus wasn’t running so I went to the bus station to find there was no information to get me to where I wanted to go and everyone I asked didn’t know either, so I ended up spending £40 on a taxi. Again not the hotels fault but if this was listed upon time of booking I would have booked somewhere else. The hotel itself was okay, though the shower was luke-warm, and the AC doesn’t get warm as it is capped at a certain temperature, I think these factors are for eco friendly purposes, but this was hell for me because I am always cold and I love a hot shower especially in the cold seasons.

The room is cosy and well appointed. The check in staff were incredibly rude.

Paid for a double bed room but ended up with 2 single beds. There was few plug sockets and the one by the bed did not work.

I like that it was on the waterfront, it had a very nice aesthetic.

Check in was slow.. Enjoyable stay, was noisy outside, i was street side, but i slept really well, beds were really comfy.. just wish there was a tv in room as i was a solo traveller and wasnt much to do after the convention was over. Only one plug for kettle to have a coffee which was under desk. Didnt have breakfast as i felt £46 on hotels.com was too much for 2 nights, so took to getting breakfast opposite at Tesco. £4.50 for a coke!! £6.50 for a beer. Its a pretty looking hotel, very compact and friendly staff. This is still one of my go to hotels in the area.

The hotel was in an excellent location, a few minute walk from nearest underground station and from the Passport Office. Really friendly staff on arrival, very comfortable room (no TV which for me is not an issue) and I like the creation of an ironing room on the first floor. Numerous restaurants around the hotel, but a nice bar/restaurant in the hotel. Will stay again.

A short overnight stay whilst visiting London. We arrived late in the evening and were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We really liked it links to charities.

Charming hotel in the docks. Had a lovely view of the docks. Very convenient and loved breakfast at this hotel. Worth every penny! Loved the fact that all profits are given to good cause: the children of Guatemala.

Good experience with nice views over the River from the bedroom. The room was very small but clean. No tv and limited storage. Bed was comfortable. Shower small but ok. Toilet didn’t flush very well. Staff were generally pleasant and helpful. Didn’t eat so can’t comment but breakfast seemed expensive. DLR wasn’t running so long way from tube Canning Town. Convenient for O2 if using cable car.

Needs sound proofing someone next door was at it all night, showering toilet flushing the other side they were up tapping all night could hear everything
Tiny tiny room window didn’t seem like they were double glazed, stains on the carpet floor , check out 630 am as was awful - do not waste your money

Good basic room for a 1 night stay. Convenient. I was charged twice though once on the way in then on check out which was paid back over a few days.

Great location to get the cable car and boat down the Thames. Italian and Lebanese restaurants a few yards away that serve late and various food pop ups. Room is minimul and perfect for a traveller like me. Comfy bed and nice bar area (though the rooftop bar was shut due to weather). Good principles with a percentage of profit donated to charity. Would stay again.
6.0 / 10.0
The hotel was ok what let it down was its no TV in all rooms policy which is an based on the fact that rooms have a River Thames view. This is an arrogant assumption as our room had the view of the roof terrace staircase and as you are paying to stay there you should have a choice. It is not made clear when booking and I wouldnt have stayed there if i'd known. The hotel is quite a way out of London and there are not many food outlets around the area. Macdonalds is a 20 minute walk. The other problem is the thumping music coming from the roof terrace on the days we were there.
5.0 / 10.0
I love this hotel but the thing that really antagonises is the insistence on taking a £30 charge, even when you arrive after the restaurant has closed. There’s not even a TV in the room that could be damaged!!!

Brilliant stay- we were at a gig at the 02 and the hotel was in. The perfect location for getting their by cable car.

Fab weekend stay. Own distinctive relaxed style. Room small and functional enhanced by lovely view of the dock and cable car. Expect some plane noise however supplied ear plugs worked for me.

My friend and I were warmly welcomed, the room was clean, tidy, comfortable well equipped. We really appreciated the styling and ethos of the hotel, along with the Guatemalan worry dolls and photo of Isai. The rooftop terrace was superb and the staff at the check-in desk and the foyer bar were friendly and attentive. We were very pleased to be able to leave our bags at the hotel after check-out and the ticket system was straightforward. We would recommend you to others.

A good practical hotel. Rooms and bathrooms are extremely compact but for a short stay it is fine. A bit noisy from rooms next door and from outside.
