There's no heat. They could not get the temperature above 67 in the room. There was a sewage smell in the room. We left at 10pm and went to another hotel. And thanks to hotels.com we didn’t get a refund because the place is apparently non-refundable.
Caveat emptor.

The hotel had a very cool vibe. We were in town for a concert. We stopped at the hotel cocktail bar prior to dinner and enjoyed a delicious drink. The rooms were simple and clean. The thermostat never warmed up the room to the set temperature and would automatically turn off after a period of time. The valet parking is a slow, so plan accordingly and notify them of your departure prior to checking out, as it took roughly 45 minutes on checkout for us to receive our car.

Hotel is very nice boutique hotel. Thermostat kept going off couldn't get room warmer. Woke up several times and kept turning it on, but it was cold!

It was very nice, but it is an old hotel which has beeb remodeled. The rooms are small. Very nice, but small. Staff is very friendly. Ambience is excellent.

Had a great stay at The Siren. EVERYONE was so nice and helpful.

This place had style points in the bag. Picked it because my ten yr old son wanted a bunk bed, lol. He loved it, and we even had posh robes to put on after our refreshing showers. The city view was great. Only thing was the bed wasn't very comfortable, and no mini fridge or microwave. Other than that, pretty cool place to hang your hat for a night.

Hotel did not have our reservation when we arrived, and despite the fact that I had my email confirmation and receipt they were unwilling to help me, and instead told me that I would have to contact hotels.com, which took about an hour to finally speak to a real person. Very unimpressive service.

The room didn’t have a fridge or microwave. It also didn’t have any access to streaming services which is okay but I would have liked to be told about it. The tv in the bedroom didn’t work with the remote.

AC didn’t work so it was a very uncomfortable night of sleep. When I mentioned it to front desk staff next morning she just said yeah it’s old and needs updating. I could try contacting for a few bucks back.

This hotel has a mold issue form the time I walked into the room could not stop sneezing with watery eyes and when I went to the front desk to change rooms they said they were booked, each day I tried to change rooms but each time they would not help and then another guest heard me and had the same issue they do nothing to help and I sent an email to the manager just now and will follow up tomorrow to see about compensation

The hotel was great fun. The Candy bar was truly special and the drinks were amazing. Alec was a terrific bar tender. Ivory, at the desk was very welcoming. He was enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. If you want a change of pace and not a usual place, try the Siren! PS the coffee is terrible.

This is my go-to hotel in Detroit. Stunning detail inside. Convenient walking or public transportation to all the fun.

We actually had to wait sometime after 3p to check-in, as the hotel staff stated they were "booked out" the night before. However, this was not a big deal. The next morning when we left our hotel room, we left the sign in front of the door for housekeeping but it had fallen off so housekeeping did not go by. We then informed the front desk staff to have housekeeping stop by on our way out to dinner, we were gone for several hours yet housekeeping still did not go by. For the 3 nights we spent in the hotel, we had no housekeeping services. Additionally our AC stopped working, which was thankfully fixed while we were out for the day. Lastly, as a "silver member" on hotels.com I had a pass for two beverages at the hotel bar, when I brought this up with the front desk staff they went on to say "I am not even sure why it keeps telling you guys that when we don't honor this". They did give me the pass for two drinks eventually, however it was a very unprofessional interaction. Overall, this hotel and my stay was below average. It is extremely noisy outside, the rooms are not soundproof. Room was very small and not worth the money I spent for 3 nights.

We really liked the hotel though it has a couple of areas where things could improve. The place is lovely and the staff were very helpful.
Most of the issues were minor. We had problems with the temperature control in the room and eventually they gave us a fan. The TV's didn't work due to Internet problems. I do recommend the restaurant. T

Hotel was nice but our toilet did not work for the entire duration of our stay and our shower handle fell off when attempting to use.

Great location walkable to many downtown attractions. Clean facility and friendly staff. Biggest con was the temperature in the room isn't individually controllable and was too warm for my liking (73°f) and made it hard to sleep.

We really enjoyed the Siren. It is eclectic and fun and the people who work there were friendly and helpful and the Ash Bar had great food. One detail- The room had tiny little desk lamp lighting only. No overhead so it was quite dark in the dusk/ evening and the bathroom needed brighter light for putting on makeup. I LOVED the pink robe that I was able to use.
It was walkable downtown area that was clean. Only thing is downtown detroit is mostly food and hotels. It's far out to go to museums etc.

Rooms where smaller then expected. The tv was over the one bed. Can’t see it if you are in that bed. Bathroom doesn’t have a door. Can’t block the bathroom smells. The staff was nice and helpful and it was clean. Just small. Expected more for $400.00 for one night

A unique and boutique experience. Eclectically decorated. A few drawbacks in the room though: roller shades didn't function properly, TV input apparently not connected and be prepared for low furniture and only ice machine down in the basement. Still, very clean, friendly staff and overall a good value.

I HIGHLY recommend the Siren. The rooms are small - and that is OK. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is very nice and the atmosphere is amazing. It isn't designed to be a place you come to and stay in the room. There is so much to do in the area. The front desk service was incredible. You won't regret it.

Great spot - a hidden gem I’ve never known about and we frequent Downtown Detroit! Next time we will make reservations for the Candy Bar - I didn’t realize this was reservation only 😔

It was a very lively place, very social and central to everything you need. I was pleasantly shocked at how much better it is in person. The valet boys also did an amazing job and were great.

Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. Perfect location and loved the history of the Wurlitzer Building being saved from the wrecking ball and turned into a boutique hotel.

Close to multiple restaurants and sporting venues. Ridiculously expensive parking at $42 per night.
