Close to the Main Street. Easy to find.

I did not know there was such a nice hotel in Tepoztlan near all the stores and the entrance to the archeological site. I got a good night's sleep and was relaxed and well-rested. I will definitely be returning here in the foreseeable future.

First, the hotel is near the main square of the town, a block far from the Main Street, that leads you to the best attractions of the town. Is the way to climb the mountain “Tepozteco” and also lots of stores and restaurants. The personal in the hotel are very friendly. They provide only breakfast, which is better than other restaurants and with an amazing view to the mountains. The terrace is quite a good place to have some photos and relax. The hotel have a very good parking lot. But I must say that Tepoztlán is a very difficult town to drive, it have narrow streets and often you get stuck between them. The shower have nice pressure and bathroom with a balcony. I find the hotel a very good discovery.

Loved breakfast on the rooftop terrace with lush surroundings and views of the cliffs around town.

No habia agua caliente, y el teléfono no servia (desconectado) por lo que nunca pude llamar a recepción.

The pool area is amazing. Property has great potential. Room was in disrepair and dirty. We paid for two nights and slept elsewhere and checked out early!

A good place to stay, it is less than 5 minutes walking distance from downtown. The room was clean and very spacious, it has a mini fridge to place leftovers and drinks. To the residents, this hotel is one of the best hotels in the area. Only a few downfalls, there is no phone inside the room. communication is via personal cell phone and WhatsApp with the lobby receptionist. Ivette at the front lobby was super helpful and friendly. There is no bar inside the hotel. No coffee in the rooms and their restaurant is open after 830 am. These were minimal things, but I will stay again at this hotel.

Appears to be clean, no thrills place. Reception did not speak English but tried to be helpful.
Had to ask for towels-didn’t have enough for two
Hotel did not seem to be full, but we weren’t allowed to check in before 3pm. The door lock was difficult to operate-had to ask for assistance.

What I like about this place the the restaurant on the roof and proximity to the main restaurant s

Restaurant on roof was nice and staff helped by calling taxis. Room was dirty and random dirty towels were in drawers. Key cards did not work most of the time. We were locked out of the hotel twice and locked in once. Finding people to let us in was very difficult to impossible. The number to call to have gate unlocked was not answered. Staff was friendly at times except when I complained about the gate. Pool was dirty and unusable. Not worth anywhere near $160 I paid per night. I will NEVER stay here again and I strongly urge anyone reading this to consider staying somewhere else. If you stay here you will be dissatisfied.

Absolutely amazing! This place is a must stay. Location is perfect, the views are amazing, nice pool and hot tub plus the staff is extremely accommodating always available. The roof top restaurant is delicious. I highly recommend this hotel

The last morning during checkout, the clerk was not very friendly. My taxi was not requested on time. Both security guards very friendly and supportive.

This was by far the BEST hotel during my stay. The staff was extremely accommodating and very helpful. The room was large, airy, super clean and comfortable. The Hotel Las Puertas de Tepoztlan is definitely by far, a better choice than the OVERRATED Hotel Posada Del Tepozteco which was a major disappointment and I refused to stay in.

The hotel is practically new, everything very well maintained. Although staff is not trained to serve as in a 5 star hotel, they all do their best, putting all their effort to serve, with a very friendly attitude. We were in a master suite, with lots of space and a jacuzzi in the room. The terrace restaurant is very nice, with a great view of the mountains. However, breakfast was average. The entrance to the mountain climb as well as the centre of the city are within a few blocks. Very recommended.

Absolutely perfect. Friendly and helpful staff, brand new facilities, central location, wonderful view of the surrounding mountains.

Charming little hotel that definitely has the potential, but perhaps not the incentive, to become something extra.
Clean and with design details that are excellent (wanted to bring home the chairs in the lobby), nice pool area, good rooftop with views, secure parking, good location.
As with so many such places, there are small things that are not great; some personnel not quite good enough, rooms nice but without character, brunch is a sometimes good sometime odd mix of Mexican/American.
Please, please remove the TV's from the rooftop and skip the loud radio. A small lobby bar would definitely be a plus for the ambiance.
Recommended if found at palatable price.

The hotel Is very nice, service incredibly friendly, great location. I will definitely come back, my full recommendation if you want to have some relax but being just a few steps from nice places for dinner or a drink

Please be informed that there is no air conditioning in this property and the room is stuffy given that the climate is always warm with temperature around 30C! Very basic amenities with the price charged. It's only a 3 star hotel.

Hotel is fairly new (opened a few months ago). It seemed we were the only guests, as we haven't seen or heard anyone else. We asked for a bigger room, as we are a family, but they didn't allow any flexibility and sticked to the room they had reserved for us, even if it was for just one night. The hotel was lovely, but it lacked on warmth and hospitality. When we arrived they quickly switched on all the lights and it didn't feel very welcoming. They definitely need more experience to complete a satisfying customer experience. Pool is not heated and ice cold! Breakfast staff on the roof terrace was very accommodating though and made our breakfast experience very special. We also enjoyed very much the jacuzzi.

Brand new hotel in this small town (opened July 2017). There were very few people here during the week after New Years. Beautiful pool, grounds, common areas and two rooftop jacuzzis. Also a large rooftop terrace and restaurant/bar with great views. Large rooms, with great shower. In terms of service, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. If Spanish is not your first language it may be difficult to get help with anything, but they went out of their way to find an english-speaker to translate and everything worked out perfectly in the end. Definitely recommend this place.

The hotel is new, very comfortable, clean and cozy. The service is great! From the valet parking, front desk, restaurant, bar, congrats to all for the great service!Short walk to the main street, full of restaurants, cafes and bars, I will go back!

Ok experience. Food is a little pricey, and full fat, but I guess it is okay to have fatty food when you are on vacation
