Amazing Views is Lake City's "Premiere" Vacation Rental! From its perfect location, to the absolutely amazing views and the lake cottage feel, you will love this home! Enjoy Adirondack chairs under the pergola in the summer and cuddle up by the rustic, red brick gas fireplace in the winter. A perfect home for every season. Just a block away from Ohuta Beach and the Marina.
This home is unique and special in so many ways. It is located just 65 miles southeast of the Twin Cities and 35 miles northeast of Rochester, MN (home to the Mayo Clinic). Lake City is a lovely 'seaside-like' town on Minnesota's South Shore of Lake Pepin.
Its cozy, New England Coastal style is sure to please the most discerning guests. It's a spacious 4 bedroom home that comfortably accommodates 2 to 10 people. The home has been completely remodeled with all new ceilings, floors, walls, windows, doors, mechanicals, bathrooms and a modern kitchen (stainless steel appliances and solid granite counter tops).
The spacious living room, dining room (with custom made farm house table) and kitchen are all open which creates a wonderful "Great Room" space for entertaining family & friends. Each room throughout the house has a wonderful view of the Lake. There is a 42" smart TV that sits on the mantle of a two sided red brick fireplace. The living room features comfortable furnishings, a game table and those unbelievable views of Lake Pepin. The stone patio (with pergola) in front of the house provides more than 300 sq. ft of luxurious outdoor space and has a fire pit surrounded by comfortable Adirondack chairs and a covered picnic table porch. The perfect place to spend quality time together or just take in the beautiful scenery.
The house - (Sleeps up to 10) - 1800 square feet and has four bedrooms & two baths. The master bedroom suite has a king size bed, private sitting area with a second TV & that red brick fireplace. This room has beautiful windows that offer an absolutely breathtaking view of Lake Pepin and Maiden Rock. The second bedroom on the main floor is also very large and has two queen size beds. There are two bedrooms on the second level along with a second full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen size bed with those amazing views of Lake Pepin in every direction you look. The other upstairs bedroom has 2 comfy twin beds that kids and kids at heart will love!
The kitchen is complete in every respect and features stainless steel appliances and solid granite counter tops. The kitchen counter has a peninsula that is perfect for gathering around; sitting four for meals or serving guests. The dining room features a large table that can seat 10 very comfortably.
Amazing Views is the perfect place for family or friends to get away to. There is lots of open space, yet privacy for those who choose to go to bed early or sleep-in.

The property had everything snd more of what you need when renting a house.It was very clean snd we loved the decor and ample space for six adults and three children.
It was perfect for our long weekend getaway and we would do it again!

Large house with many bedrooms, tastefully decorated, and great for a girl’s weekend! Fully stocked and wonderful patio to watch the lake. Hosts were wonderful and answered any questions promptly. Definitely would stay again.

We have stayed in Lake City many times as it is one of our favorite places to visit and relax but this by far is our favorite place to stay. The house is beautiful and the location couldn't be better, not to mention the hosts are so gracious. The little extras like the yard games and bikes were an added bonus.

Amazing Views is by far the very BEST of all properties and locations we have ever stayed at! Our group of 5 stayed for extended ladies weekend. Two sisters shared the main suite, with everyone else in their own room and space. Two bathrooms with 5 ladies is a must, and the Jack-and-Jill bathroom on 2nd floor was very nice. Lots of sitting areas on main floor and large dining room table where we spent majority of inside time playing cards and dice. The kitchen is just fabulous! The best and most well-stocked of any kitchen we've ever encountered. The extra refrigerator was a plus. Very nice. Spent time on the patio and covered porch watching eagles and we were lucky enough to walk the river walk way to marina when the rain cleared. Also enjoyed a game of bocce ball on front lawn. Such a great location and easy drive to main street shopping, restaurants and grocery store. We took advantage of Girls Day Out on Saturday and had so much fun at all the small shops and boutiques. Owners very easy to communicate with and so nice, but we found we didn't need a thing. They have thought of everything anyone needs to enjoy their stay. So nice of them to share this amazing property with others. This is our number 1 choice for stay in Lake City and Red Wing/Bluff Country in the future.

Amazing Views was immaculate! The rooms were well appointed and stocked with all necessities. The beds were comfortable, inside temperature was comfortable, and the appliances worked well. Every light switch was labeled, as well as easily understood instructions posted by the fireplace, washer, dryer, and TV. It was the perfect home to connect with friends, relax, and enjoy the view of the river.

The home is well equipped and the views are amazing. The only drawback was that it was not as handicapped accessible as we had anticipated. The hosts were very receptive to our concerns and said they would change the accessibility on the listing. Thank you Sandy & Eric we enjoyed our annual "Sister's Getaway" in your beautiful home..

Great location with a beautiful view. It was nice to have two places to relax outside. The kitchen was extremely well appointed with any type of pot, pan, utensil, and coffee contraption you might want. The common area was more spacious than we expected, with six of us visiting or watching a movie in comfort. Should we visit Lake City again for a getaway we will certainly come back. Great communication, we had no issues at all while there and Sandy checked in half-way to be sure all was well.

This property was perfect for our extended family of 8 and 1 baby. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had everything we needed to prepare lovely family meals and plenty of room to enjoy them in the spacious dining area.
The view was great and plenty of outside seating to enjoy it. The location was perfect and we enjoyed walks to the shops in town, the marina and beach area. The house was very clean! I would definitively stay here again.

Truly this was an amazing stay! The house was so clean and well organized. We instantly felt at home. The owners were so great and let us know right away to let them know if we needed anything. The views are amazing! The is a great little gem and we enjoyed our stay very much!

My college roommates and I wanted a relaxing stay along the Mississippi River and could not have chosen a better place. This property was spacious, very well kept, and convenient to paces both north (Red Wing and state parks with hiking) and south (eagle center in Wabasha and more parks for hiking). Just a block off Hwy 61 but the set up meant traffic noise was not a problem. We sat outside a lot watching the boats, bald eagles, and families strolling along the river. Would highly recommend this property.

I rented the house to spend a long weekend celebrating our friend 40th birthday. We had an amazing time! We couldn't have for a better place. The house has everything we needed and then some. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary gadgets we need it. Everything was clean and organized. The fire place was the gathering spot! We are already think about coming back next year!

The owners showed kindness & professionalism in caring for us as guests and in the way the home is kept. I put my faith in the incredible reviews, and they are accurate! With bad weather, my sister and I spent most of our time at the home during our 5-day stay. Couldn't be more comfortable!

Everything is clean and works. Looks small on the outside, but inside it's quite spacious with lots of new appliances and furniture. Sandy was helpful with lots of notes explaining how to use things (TV, dishwasher, etc.)

We needed some “middle ground” for family in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota for Thanksgiving. This house and our hosts were amazing. Sharon was extremely gracious and had lots of information. The home was spotless and we loved the openness of the first floor. Cooking an entire Thanksgiving meal without missing out on family and football was great. And the kitchen had everything I needed. Views and adventure easy to come by as well. Seriously considering trying at a warmer time of year as well. Great walking trail along the river right outside the door. Thank you Sharon! We loved our stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here in September 2021! The home is decorated so nicely with a nautical theme. Plenty of scenic places to walk and enjoy Lake Pepin; ate all our meals outside watching the lake and the birds (eagles, seagulls, and pelicans). Nice area coffee chops and restaurants with takeout. So relaxing!

We came to relax and enjoy the river views. Mission accomplished. A little early for the best weather but the property did not disappoint. A bit more traffic noise than we would have liked but not bad at all. Our host (Sharon) was very attentive and friendly. She even arranged for eagles to hang out in the trees across the street. ;) We've booked to come back again.

We enjoyed our stay in Lake City. We were pretty much sequestered in the house for a couple of days because of weather, but then had access to lots of hiking and outdoor exploring.
Sharon was really responsive to needs we had. We visited during winter and our only issue was the extreme cold in the mainfloor bedroom. (lots of windows so those kinds of rooms are hard to keep warm in winter) We figured out how to work with it, but it could really use a space heater or some kind of supplemental heat. We dealt with it by turning the heat up for the last hour of the evening and then using the fan to blow the cold air out of the room.
All in all, the property was amazing. The kitchen was well-equipped and that was important to us since we stayed around the holidays.

We had high hopes, because of the online description and such positive reviews. We were NOT disappointed! So glad we were finally able to stay here, as it was a popular rental, and NO WONDER! It has a beautiful view (so important to this traveler), plenty of furniture for the entire family, and SURPRISE! Every possible pot, pan, and cooking utensil you could ask for!! OK. Bottom line: Would I stay here again? DEFINITELY!

Weekend with family and friends. We have stayed in numerous vacation rentals and this is one of the best. Incredible View of the lake. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs. National eagle center and Lark Toys are a short drive but well worth it.

Our four generation family had a great time here. It was a wonderful place for the eight of us. It was special to have eagles land in the tree across the road from us. Lots of things to do in the area that we were all able to enjoy.
