Modern style and luxury take this beach home’s details and elevate the everyday into something extraordinary. You’ll love gathering with family and friends while enjoying the beauty of Dauphin Island at Sandbreak.
Enter the front door to a user-friendly, well-equipped kitchen with great flow, open storage, a dishwasher, a tall skinny fridge, and a seven-bottle wine cooler. When it’s time to eat, gather around the large dining table, perch at the kitchen island, or enjoy your meal on the main deck.
Soak in amazing unobstructed Gulf of Mexico views from the open living area, with 10’ ceilings and large windows that offer panoramic views of the west end of Dauphin Island and wow with spectacular sunsets. The living area provides ample seating for family and friends to gather around a 65” TV or relax around the fireplace in this well-appointed beach house.
Inside this modern luxury getaway, you’ve got five primary suites, each featuring a smart TV and en suite bathroom with dual shower heads. Two of the upstairs bedrooms have direct access to the viewing deck, which runs the length of the house and overlooks the Gulf of Mexico.
Send the kids upstairs to the bunk room, with six twin-sized bunk beds, where an oversized sectional and poufs offer plenty of seating to chill and watch the 65” TV. The large vaulted ceilings welcome more views of the Gulf of Mexico. Directly off the bunk room is the viewing deck for those dolphin lovers in the family.
This home provides plenty of outdoor space for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the Gulf of Mexico from all three of its decks. From the upper viewing deck, one can sit and watch the dolphins play by day or simply star gaze for hours by night. The covered main deck, with seating for a crowd, also has a 14’ x 8' swim spa for those who wish to swim in a private pool when the water is too rough to play. In the cooler months, heat it to 104 degrees and enjoy a hot tub on the Gulf of Mexico. A grill and outdoor dining table complete the main deck. Walk off the lowest deck directly to the sand to build your sand castle and surf the day away. All the outdoor living spaces feel luxurious and inviting with room for everyone.
Explore the scenic West End or sit on your deck and enjoy the peacefulness of crashing waves and watching the sunsets Dauphin Island is famous for.

This house sits right on the sand at the waters edge. It was perfect for our large group which included young kids, young adults, parents and grandparents. There was plenty of space inside and out for all to have a place to hang out on rainy mornings and come together at night for board games. The kids loved the mini fridge and fooz ball in the upstairs tv room. We saw fireworks from the upper deck and fished daily in front of the house. And for the dolphin lovers, they seem to swim by daily in the early morning and again in the late afternoon. It was truly a fantastic getaway. Looking to book again next year!

We loved the location of this property. Being at the west end of the island gave us access to both bay and ocean views as well as a short walk to the public beach for sunset. The home’s location on the gulf almost feels like it has its own private stretch of beach.
The home has everything you’d need for basic meals, but make sure to bring your own coffee and seasoning! Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, and there’s a small powder room off the kitchen.
We enjoyed relaxing on the decks on both floors and spent plenty of time in the hot tub!

Sandbreak’s location was perfect. We were a party of 6 adults. The multiple king bedrooms with their own bathrooms was the main reason we chose this property. The kitchen was very well equipped. Huge double decks were great! Right on the beach
A truly relaxing vacation.

We had 3 families come together for our stay at Sandbreak and we had a fabulous week! Being right on beach was amazing and it was fantastic to wake up to the sounds of waves each morning. We were able to take in the view of pelicans throughout the day and saw dolphins on 2 of our evenings. We all enjoyed the hot tub each day which was critical on our first couple of days with cooler, stormy weather. We needed to talk with staff about a few issues during the week and they were very responsive and willing to help. We would definitely stay at Sandbreak again if we ever made another trip to Dauphin Island!

We loved this house - so roomy and the views were incredible! So relaxing to have coffee on the deck and watch the dolphins play in the mornings. The hot tub was the perfect way to enjoy the views of the beach on those chilly days when the Spring weather would not give us what we wanted. The kids loved the foosball table and the beach views from the top bunk. We had a great time with our friends and family at Sandbreak for a quick Spring Break getaway.

This house was fabulous. The views from the windows and the porch were stunning - you can see both sunrise and sunset! The hot tub was fabulous - huge and great jets! The beach is beautiful, it was super peaceful and the house was comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed - tons of dishes etc. We didn't have 16 people, but it was awesome that there was room for that many. We had gorgeous weather most of our stay and really enjoyed the beach - long walks and playing in the waves. When we did hang out inside, we always had beautiful scenery, nice places to curl up with a book, play some games, watch some tv or just chat! I also had to do some work and the wifi connection was speedy so even my video conference went smoothly. I definitely hope to stay here again!

The property & house is beautiful. The parking situation is not conducive to a unit that holds 16 people.

So I'll be kind but direct. I've already sent a message to the owner of this home in reference to the issues we had with this home, but to help anyone who comes here in the future, these are our suggestions.
The fridge/freezer has limited space, so be selective on how much frozen product you bring. We would recommend bringing a cooler with ice for overflow. There is also no open cabinet space, except for small shelves at the end of the kitchen island.
I recommend bringing your own Roku. Some of the remotes were either missing or had no batteries. If this doesn't appeal to you, I recommend bringing a DVD player. Cell service at the west end is poor, so we recommend a Hotspot for this trip. Wi-Fi was also spotty & we lost connection completely during our trip. A DVD player would've been wonderful to enjoy after a long day in the sun, during rainy days, & when the wifi went out.
Bring spices, pans & cooking utensils. If you have a large party, the pans aren't big enough to cook a large meal or multiple meals without washing dishes during and after every meal.
Bring pillows and blankets. There are only 2 twin pillows per king-size bed. There are extra pillows in the closets, but there are no extra pillow cases or linens provided if you want to use them.
Bring Tupperware, ziplocks, aluminum foil, cleaning supplies, dish rags, Radio/blue tooth speaker, cards and board games.
The coffee pot is both a normal pot and the option for Keurig cups.

Couldn’t ask for a better location and beach house to take a couple of families with kids!

Truly this was the most amazing location; every morning you walk down the stairs onto the beach. There’s dolphins in the water and crabs scurrying around the sand. Really really spectacular.
Only negative was we fixed the broken door knob (glad my husband had tools to fix it) and the pool was sandy. Granted being on the beach, it’s very hard to keep the water spotless.
Would come here again in a heart beat!

My entire family had a great time! The house was great and the swim spa was wonderful
Some suggestions- blinds in living room- it got hot by noon and no privacy at night. Ceiling fans on the deck. A broom or dustbuster- too cumbersome to get the vacuum out each time.

Who doesn’t love a house that is steps from the beach, offers miles of beach walking in either direction, great fishing, a great hot tub with ocean view and two decks to just take it all in. Highly recommended for any vacation where you just want to relax in a very comfortable beach house and enjoy all it has to offer! We will definitely book again!

This was a very nice house. Room for the entire family. Only complaint was the swarming termites we found on the first night. We didn’t know about the swarming season. Management Co swiftly sent termite co out and rectified the situation. LOVED that the beach was steps from the house. Deck with swim spa was great.

We had a party of 13 and there was plenty of space for sleeping, cooking, eating, lounging. The beach and hot tub were the highlights of the house, obviously! The only downside to this property were the deck grill did not work, no dressers in the bedrooms and there was minimal space for bathroom toiletries. We did report the grill to property management, and they were responsive. Although we were unable to use the grill, they were working to get it fixed. I would definitely recommend this property if you're looking for a quiet beach get away!

Our 3-night stay at Sandbreak was perfect. This home is appointed with everything you will want for a relaxing stay, feet from the Gulf of Mexico. The house is literally in the sand – the sound of ocean waves fills the home as does the light thanks to all the windows. The deck hot tub is huge, and we enjoyed sunsets and starlight each day/night. The kitchen is a chef’s dream – a large island, great range and a generous assortment of cooking utensils and knives. Stop by Skinners to get locally sourced seafood and enjoy fresh cooked meals using the kitchen or grill on the deck - steps from the stand in this home. Believe me, you won’t want to leave once you arrive! The house is also 3 houses away from West End Reserve, a 6-mile reserve filled with abundant bird life and lots of interest sights like local fishing. You can walk several miles and feel like you have the beach to yourself most of the year. If you would rather stay in, there are several large TVs to enjoy – but believe me, you will want to spend your time on the house-length deck, in the hot tub or on the beach. While it was just two of us this time, this house is so well built it will happily accommodate 5 couples (each with their own master suite) and also has 6, full bunk beds in a bunk/living room on the 2nd floor. Lots of space for family and friends.

I love industrial style of the house. House was very roomy and steps from the ocean. Had an amazing view from both floors if the house. Hot tub was amazing! First morning I got to see a dolphin close to shore from the deck, amazing!
Could use some throw rugs, flooring is slick and some soft thicker throw blankets for those cool breezy mornings and evenings.
Overall I would stay again!!!!!
