The sunset is amazing from the pool!

Every time when we had a shower, there was a pool in the bathroom. This needs to get fixed.

A peaceful but special place

Hotel is located in a great position which is close to one of the most beautiful beaches of Kefalonia (Petanoi) with only 5’ by car. Really good options of seafood/ Greek cuisine etc can be found close to the premises, too. Sea views are also astonishing and the owners keep their promise by maintaining a relaxing environment full of serenity. Staff is always helpful, willing to assist, polite and professional. Hotel amenities and rooms are in very good condition, internet connection is perfect and room was spacious. Breakfast and cleaning services are also very good/ excellent. You deserve to pay for all the above and it is OK to give a premium for the aforementioned pros

I have to say that a 4-star hotel should theoretically have a restaurant to offer meals. This is also strictly mentioned in Booking but you only have the option to order snacks from the bartender close to the pool area. Moreover, the owner seemed to be totally unprepared for the abnormal July heatwave: not even one ceiling fan close to the breakfast area, this was not only a bad experience for the customers, but also a torture for the staff. I totally understand that this is not an ordinary summer day in Kefalonia, but at the end this is a 4-star hotel and expectations are higher compared to a mid/ low range alternatives. Pricing in the pool bar was found salty but this is subjective and since I am a Greek customer with knowledge of country’s economic factors, I might be a little biased.

Breathtaking location, with rooms and an infinity pool overlooking Petani beach. All the care everybody puts in every single detail to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with fresh and local products. The best place in the island and the easiest 10 I've ever given on Booking.

Hotel in a wonderful location with a breathtaking view, good breakfast and nice bar on swimming pool. Spacious apartment, comfortable beds, with a small kitchen that is well equipped. Very friendly hosts, swimming pool area is wonderful and very quiet

The bathroom, where no matter how careful you are, water leaks outside the cabin and is constantly wet and splashes around the apartment.

The spectacular views and spacious rooms justify a short stay but manage your expectations.

Breath taking views from most parts of the hotel. Attractive buildings and grounds. Spacious and very clean rooms with rooms on the upper floors (recommended) having balconies and stunning views. Good pool with plenty of well thought out seating. Contrary to older reports, connectivity is good.

The location is fairly remote with every venture from the hotel requiring transport, even to the beach below. Amenities are basic and service is limited. The vibe is more nice BB than luxury hotel.

Very quiet and peaceful, felt like our own private Villa.

Little bit far from town and taxis won’t come out to get you unless for an extra cost, so limited eating locations. A car is a must!

The best few days relaxing, eating and soaking up the sun. perfection!

Staff all gorgeous and friendly. Food was delicious. Lovely pool, lovely view. Big, comfy room with tv!

I liked everything but you’d need a car if you want to explore.

Most enjoyable end of summer stay.

Delightful hotel, extremely well run by a lovely couple. Fabulous clifftop location, above a nice beach and beautiful sea. All staff extremely friendly and helpful. Good food. Lovely pool. Superb sunset sea views.

Rather overpriced hotel with several issues, albeit with great view.

Stunning location, comfortable bed.

Check in was frustrating, no clear signs where to park car, and directions to reception. Noone answered phone. No apologies (i.e "no one else has had this problem"), poor welcome from key people. Horrible piped music on all the time in common areas, room not spotless - dust on floor and behind furniture, pool had a lot of missing and loose tiles. Limited fresh fruit available for breakfast (i.e only apples and bananas), really ridiculas pool towel policy - have to present a room "credit card" to get them, with a threat of EUR 50 fine if they found any marks on them when returned. The two ladies serving breakfast were great, the rest of the staff left a lot to be expected (professionalism, attitude)

Exceptional

Beautiful hotel. Adults only for kidless adults is just fantastic as you can have a very quiet yet pleasant holiday. Location is great with a stunning view, though not much around other than the Petani Beach which is beautiful and a few restaurants. Breakfast is very good and they were very kind to accommodate my vegan diet. John and Voula were great. We did a boat trip with John which we highly recommend. Rooms are very comfortable. Staff very friendly too.

Everything was amazing, but if I were to add something would be a gym (even if small). Though this is a personal preference.

It was an unforgettable stay!

The staff was amazing! Since we had no car, the owner graciously arranged for a wonderful guide and car service to get to various places around the island. She even took us down to Petani beach one day which we were thankful for. We were very happy with our room. The view is unparalleled and worth the stay. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious and wonderful!

A calm and relaxing place

We just loved everything about the hotel. The staff was more than friendly and professional at the same time, the breakfast was delicious and the hotel itself is a place where we could easily relax. The pool, the view, just the whole atmosphere was stunning, relaxing and a nice memory. Also, there weren't too many other guests around the same areas, so it sometimes felt like we've had the hotel to ourselves. (And the dogs are very cute as well.) We thought it could even be a 5 star hotel. Thank you for the great time! :)

Couldn't fault it overall and had a great relaxing time.

Pool is fantastic and no fighting over towels - lots of sunchairs and umbrellas/shade awnings available. The owners are super-friendly and helpful and engage very well with the guests. Their English is very good. Can thoroughly recommend the boat trip and swimming in remote coves! Great view over the bay from the terrace/outdoor restaurant.

You needed a car to get to the local beach- it was too far in the heat to walk down the twisting road. However the pool was so good, it didn't matter too much about the local beach and we drove to others. The dinner in the evening could possibly be improved a little- only 2 main dishes are normally available and once one of the popular options ran out. (Greek salads were lovely though and the quality of the local cuisine was high.)

Perfect relaxation in a stunning spot with breathtaking views

I loved everything about this hotel. The views were breathtaking, the peace and tranquillity, the beautiful room with sea view, the cleanliness, the pool area, the food…. The owners were such lovely people too, so welcoming and accommodating. I loved everything about this place and wish I could’ve stayed longer

A perfect quiet and relaxing place to visit with stunning views, lovely staff and excellent facilities.

It was in a perfect location over looking the bay with the most amazing sunsets. The pool is stunning, with a beautiful arrangement of sun loungers and beds, and a welcoming pool bar. The dinning area for both breakfast and dinner was just a beautiful, also over the bay. The food was great, as were the cocktails by tinge pool (George’s signature cocktails and his Chocolate soufflé desert are the best). The rooms were super clean and contemporary, all surrounded by the lush gardens (which were maintained daily, hats off to the landscaper). And the friendly staff were always at your disposal, always helpful and accommodating in every way! And the fact that it was an adults only hotel made it extra special, meaning a more peaceful and relaxing holiday. You could hear a pin drop!

Everything exceeded expectations, so no complaints about the accommodation. It’s not ideal to walk to the beach down the hill in the heat, so you definitely need a car. But then, lots of the secluded beaches in Kefalonia are like this, so you get used to it. And half the fun is exploring the island, so prepare to do some driving.

Relaxing & magical

Fantastic location, team and rooms. Every room has a view and the team took care of us splendidly. Would highly recommend this hotel. Beach and multiple eateries are within a 5min drive of the hotel.

If you are staying more than 3 days, I would recommend booking the junior suite.

Fantastic vista above Petani beach. Lovely pool. Good size rooms.

It’s a long steep walk back up the hill from the beach hence the reason for needing to rent a car or bike Shame there is no restaurant at the hotel in the evening

One of the most amazing experiences in life

The property is really really beautiful: every corner makes you want to take a picture. The pool area is absolutely stunning, and from there you will witness the most beautiful sunsets you’ve ever seen. The room was squeaky clean and the property is taking the current situation very seriously. You will notice many preventive measures in place - even our luggage was sprayed and sterilized upon arrival. We felt safe during our entire stay. Upon arrival, we were received with welcome drinks: we opted for the delicious homemade lemonade, which we sipped while gazing at Petani Bay and the blue horizon. The owners and the staff are fantastic. Really helpful and lovely, making you feel as if you were part of their family. We were sad to leave and are already making plans for the next trip to Kefalonia.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
