The house and the property are awesome, we did arrive to a bad cleaning and some basic maintenance issues, but the company immediately put it right and we really did enjoy our stay at the house for the duration of our time.

This property was nice to stay in but vacasa, the property management company, was horrible to communicate with. Either didn’t respond to requests or responded days late or without complete answers so I had to keep asking. I haven’t ever had worse communication with a property management company. I feel bad cause you can tell the owners care a great deal about their property but the lack or incomplete communication is rough. My group (7-40 year old women) were also disappointed on the cleanliness. It was not deep cleaned - which since the owners have a property management company that should be top of the line cleaning…. there were animal droppings outside all the windows, there were no screens on the windows for bugs (looked like they had gotten cleaned but were never put back in - we found them later). The place was also stifling hot when we got there, (mid day in May - not the hottest part of the year especially for bainbridge) couldn’t imagine being there during an actual hit time of the year. The swim spa was also freezing when we arrived. 85 and it’s sooo large that it took most of our two day stay to heat up to temp. As someone who owns a couple airbnbs, my property management company will come and cool down the house before people get there and they also would have made sure the swim spa was at temp. I think the owner would benefit from firing the property management company first and foremost.

This space was the perfect size for our Board of Directors to gather for our annual retreat. The living room was just the right size for us to hold our day-long meeting, and there were enough beds for all of us between the studio and the main house. We did wish there were clearer checkout instructions and wish the icemaker worked on the freezer in the main house.

I would not recommend this property to anyone. The location is poor. The house is barely furnished - very depressing. The trash can was full, rodent droppings in the bed. Poor communication with management company
