About this house rental

7 Collins Avenue is an ocean-block, three-story town-home, with a private elevator included for guest convenience. A very spacious unit, this home features two first floor master suites, and a third on the second floor. Bedrooms four and five are also on the second floor, and they share a hall bath. The third floor is the main congregating space, as it houses the kitchen and dining space, as well as the living room. There is a half bath on the third floor. This unit also has a lot of outdoor space. On the front of the unit, guests will be treated to two decks, and also a back deck off the kitchen where they can grill on the gas grill. There are ocean views from the top decks. There is off-street parking for two cars, a and the owner provides two on-street permits.

This is a non-smoking unit, and pets are not permitted. A linen package can be purchased for your stay.

The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $313.00.

Booking Restrictions-
7 Night Stays- June through August
2 Night Stays- Jan through April and October through December
3 Night Stays- May and September

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

We had a great stay! The house was beautiful - even nicer than the pictures - and was perfect for our group. It was so nice that the house was so kid friendly (baby gates, kids picnic table, toy closet, high chair). Location was great, super close walk to the beach! We hope to come back again in the future.

Super beach rental. The house is beautiful and the location is ideal--steps from the beach. We enjoyed relaxing on the (many) decks. Our group included our 2 and 4 year old grandchildren and we were especially surprised and pleased at how child friendly the house is. Besides the large communal living room (which allowed the kids to play nearby but not on top of the adults) the house came with a large number of fun toys for kids. The elevator is a plus given that the kitchen is on the third floor. Having the ability to park 4 cars without extra cost was also a plus. Bill, the property manager, is fantastic (can't say enough good things about him). He responded to questions immediately and with good humor. We would all highly recommend this beach house.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful vacation. The location was my favorite part about the house, very close to the beach! The realtors at CB were also very helpful when we needed to call. The house had many amenities, we were especially thankful for the elevator when we had enough groceries to feed 8 people for a week. The number of porches was also a huge plus. Some of the smaller things in the house could use some upkeep - the handle fell off the freezer door on our first day and the garage door stopped working when it rained (we called the realtor about both issues and they were helpful). The single beds throughout the house were all deemed uncomfortable by our kids, but the queen size beds were all comfortable. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The home was perfect. My family and grandchildren had a blast!! Lots of room for games and kids to play. The three floors and two balcony’s with ocean view were wonderful. Morning coffee on the front balcony had a really nice beach and bay view. The in house elevator made loading and unloading easy. The location is steps from the beach entrance ramp and once you park you can walk everywhere on Dewey Beach!! We hope you enjoy your trip as much as we did 😊

7 Collins is a great sized space. The upper level living area was a great gathering space for our group. The bedroom sizes were good and the place was clean However, for the $ that we paid for 3 nights, we should have been provided paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags. We had 10 people, in a 12 person home and they only provided us with 2 keys. In this day and age , and the number of people staying, a coded entry lock needs to be installed. It's too hard to coordinate 12 people with two keys. Also one of the queen beds on the second level was broken (has been reported to the realtor so I am sure this will be fixed). Overall, not a bad stay,

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a fantastic time at 7 Collins - loved being mere steps away from the beach, and the home is beautiful and comfortable. Garage is tight, but fit our two sedans well. It had an elevator for our less-mobile guests, which was helpful because the common area is on the 3rd floor. Also had some baby equipment (stair gate, small table, and highchair). The owner and Coldwell graciously worked with us last-minute when our other rented property fell through, and we had a fantastic weekend as a result. Would definitely recommend to others, and come back again!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the past several years our extended family of 10 have enjoyed our stat at 7 Collins. It is located on a quiet street very close to the beach. During the week, the beach isn't overly crowded. The owner continually improves the rental's furnishings. The rental is very close to the bay and Dewey's businesses. It is only a 5 minute drive to Rehobeth, 20 minutes to Bethany, and 35 minutes to Ocean City.The only negative comment is having trouble with the garage door.
