Enjoy nature and peaceful tranquility in this three-bedroom two two-bath home in Volcano where the only likely sounds you’ll hear are birds singing or coqui frogs whistling in the evening. Set on two lush acres and with Hawaii Volcanoes National Park only a mile away, this is the ideal place to stay when planning to explore the vast national park. Natural reserves, wildlife refuges, tropical forests, and nature sanctuaries abound in the area.
This home has an open-concept indoor living design with modern furnishings, vaulted ceilings, and even a gas fireplace for warming up on those high-elevation cool and damp volcano evenings. This sturdy home was uniquely designed and offers a sense of security. It is a rare find on the island in that it was carefully constructed of imported solid cedar which is a well-known aromatic mildew-resistant wood.
While there are excellent dining options within a short drive, the full kitchen offers the opportunity to cook an al fresco meal to enjoy together on the custom dining table or backyard lanai. This house has a "cabin in the woods" feel and is the best location in Volcano to enjoy peace, nature, and the proximity of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

This is a well equipped and spacious home in a quiet area near the Volcanos National Park. The kitchen is well equipped and there are extra linens. You need to bring your own water to drink and some coffee for the Keurig or French Press. It is very dark at night so great for star gazing if you get a clear night. Also fun for bird watching.

Great experience.

This home has it all - I wish we chose to stay longer, had I known how great the home would be. It was cozy, welcoming and full of everything we needed. Our trip was planned to really only need a place to lay our heads at night (which was comfortable and met all our needs), but if we had more time to spend and could take advantage of the home itself, we'd have been more than satisfied to spend more time there. Great home, definitely recommend. Thank you for hosting us!!

If you’re looking to visit the volcano or just need to relax this is the perfect place. The cabin itself was clean, spacious and I love the rustic feel of it. I highly recommend this place if you’re just want to decompress, vacation or want to go on endless hikes at the Volcano National Park.

Serene, beautiful, very clean home. Comfortable for our 3-generation weekend getaway. Lots of towels. Had a hiccup with the blue tooth controlled gas fireplace (found the needed spare batteries to ignite after a cold night), and did not realize that the water was not recommended to drink prior to arriving, but in general would highly recommend!

Clean, quiet, convenient, spatious. Could use more native plants in the yard! Otherwise lovely, and the local support people are great.

A BEAUTIFUL home 5 minutes away from Volcano National Park. Luxurious amenities, comfortable furniture, fully stocked kitchen, and peaceful backyard. Owners are extremely kind, LGBTQ+ friendly, and very clean. Walking distance to incredible local food, shops, hiking, and stunning nature. Would recommend this gem of a house to anyone! You haven’t truly experienced Hawaii until you’ve stayed here!!
