Location was less than 2 miles from Ford field. Bed was incredibly comfortable. The check in was a little confusing due to the building set up. Just sent a video on how to get to apartment with a car. However, we don’t have a car and ended up having to walk around back with our luggage when we later realized we could have just gone through the front door. But just a minor inconvenience. Would stay again.

Betty’s place was exactly what I was looking for! This was my first time staying in a rental and she made the experience so comfortable and easy! The inside is so cute and inviting along with the comfortable bed! The high ceilings it’s a total vibe! Along with 420 friendly! Easy access to parking and easy to get to and from downtown! I will definitely be booking again.

I was in town for a wedding and just needed a spot nearby to crash. The rental was very well represented and exactly what I needed for my stay!

Unfortunately Falsely claims amenities like air conditioned, but is second story and has stuffiest, hottest, unmaintained air circulation. Window units were not capable of helping the space. Sadly just not even comfortable enough to sleep there.

The personalization on the chalk wall was a nice touch!!

Enjoyed the loft. Plenty of room for my son and I while in Detroit to enjoy a game. Quick and easy to get to Comerica

Loft was nice inside. Its a old factory in stages of being converted to condos. Only gripe is hot water was lukewarm.
King Dinner a few blocks north is a good no frills restaurant.
I parked in rear parking lot but later realized parking complex next door has free level 2 EV charging and is only $17 for a night.

The loft was very spacious! Communication with the host was very easy. They provided very detailed instructions about the check in process, and that was super helpful!

While the check-in process is a little confusing, and the building/parking lot look a little scetchy, the room its self was really nice, very clean and the bed is so comfy after having a long night at a concert! The host was easily contacted and quick to respond as well. Overall we had a nice stay!

Great space, great times! Thoughtful touches and very comfortable.

The unit itself is very nice. However the location is a bit sketchy. It is at the outer limits of the downtown area and its about four or five blocks before you get to a clean, safer feeling area. We walked to game and back and had no problems. W Lafeyette is the way to go rather than W Fort St.

This was a great place to stay. Don’t be discouraged by the unique neighborhood. Hoping it’s available again the next time we’re in town. :)

Location was easy to find and is near a lot of great destinations in downtown. Loft is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and was quiet for us. Easy parking. Definitely recommend!

Detailed check in instructions were easy to follow. Unit itself was clean, bright and well furnished. Sanitized and sealed toilet ensured we knew room had been cleaned before our arrival. Comfy King bed. A/C was running as we arrived to provide comfortable temp. Ceiling fans added to our comfort. Snacks were much appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed after coming home from a Tigers game. A welcome message was a nice touch as were the supply of games. The entry area of the property gave some hesitation because it is not as bright and freshly decorated as Betty’s unit. Fear not! Once you open the door to unit, you are invited into a very welcoming space. We checked out Eastern Market on Saturday morning after check out. Great place! Very busy this Memorial Day weekend. Would like to go back sometime.
Thanks.

A great location for any events in Detroit. Clean and comfortable too. Very quiet at night and very unique loft. We loved and will hopefully stay again.

Pulling up and seeing the outside might have you second guessing your choice but once you get inside to The loft you will be pleasantly surprised. The loft itself is nicely decorated and very comfortable. The house Miss Betty was very accommodating and helpful. There was some issues with the electricity due to a power outage and misss Betty took care of me and my wife and got us into an equally impressive loft not too far from the listing that was above dispensary. Going to Detroit and having a place to enjoy your smoke contact Miss Betty and have a good one.

Property was great, as was location for our need. Surrounding area and the building itself made us feel a little uncertain, but once inside it was cozy and lovely. We didn't have noise issues like other reviews noted. Betty was great, process was great. Hot water in shower was lacking. Otherwise met every other expectation that we had.

Although I had a few bumps in the road on my end, I was well accommodated. Everything was exactly how the description was and the stay was pleasant. Recommend this spot every time.

We were in Detroit for just a night and we had a great time! Location is perfect for ubering to different breweries/restaurants. The building itself is old and needs some love, but the loft was perfect and homey! Very friendly and attentive host! Thank you!

We came to Detroit to see Brett Eldredge Christmas concert. The apartment is a little underwhelming from the outside, but once you got in, it was a lovely place. Very spacious and has everything you need, even snacks!
My only complaint is the building as boiler heat and it's hard to control so it was a sauna in the apartment when we first open the door but was able to cool down the place by opening the windows. Definitely will be staying here again next time we are in town.

Betty’s spot is perfect. Is to get in and out and so cozy. I love the windows and the open feel. The little extra touches were very much appreciated. People may find the industrial area a little noisy, but we liked it, AND, Betty has ear plugs! Thanks for the great night!

Great place, Betty was quick to respond. A weekend getaway before the holidays, we Ubered all over Detroit and the loft was the perfect place to stay, quiet, comfortable, clean. Charming atmosphere. Much better than a hotel, cheaper and cozy.

Love the loft vibe and location was centrally located for our stay. Any questions we had were answered promptly and made our stay that much better. Would recommend to a friend visiting Detroit.

Wonderfuly comfortable jewel of an apartment in run down ex-factory. Don’t be fooled by the exterior. Betty is a marvellous host, and replies immediately to any communication. AC takes a while to kick in, and you can sometimes hear the neighbours, but it didn’t bother us. Parking is secure. Area is approx 15min drive to downtown, we paid $13 for Lyft rides in, and typically walked home. If you are not from a city, or are nervous about being off the main drag, this is not not for you. However, although the neighbourhood is run down and deserted, we never felt unsafe, and discovered many hidden gems that we’d never have seen if we had stuck to driving.

Betty was excellent to communicate with and the loft was great! The building is very old and run down but once through the door you'd never know. The loft was clean and decorated well. Great location to Comerica Park! I'd definitely book again!

Beautifully decorated, chic and aesthetically pleasing studio apartment. The setup is really nice. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a fun place to stay in a convenient location. The location feels somewhat isolated and the hallways and exterior of the building feel gritty, but the unit is just as pictured and very comfortable. My partner was delighted that there was a yoga mat and kettlebells available for a workout. It's just a 12-minute walk from a couple of great breweries and less than a mile from a lovely path along the river.

I mean, it wasn't the absolute worst thing in the world. But it definitely was not the best and I will never stay there again. First of all it's in a horrible neighborhood, It's right across the street from salvation army. It's in a very old, ran down, dirty, smelly building. The stairway in this place smelled like smoke and looked like people smoke crack in it, as well as very dirty. This building looked abandoned. The apartment its self was cute but also dirty. It gave me the vibe that someone lives there and only rents it out when they have the opportunity too. Wasnt very clean, someone's hair was all over. Light switches were black. It says private gate parking but i was scared to leave my car because it looked sketch. The bad outweighs the good on this one for me.

We had concert tickets for a show at Ford Field and the proximity was great to all of the big venues. We ubered for less than $10.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Props to Ms Betty for having snacks and coffee. Easy to get into the property and parking was easy to find. I would be happy to stay here for our next Detroit adventure.

We enjoyed our stay. The loft was so nice inside. Gated parking lot was appreciated. We liked the quirks that come with such an old building turned to homes. Definitely not for people who would like quietness.
Betty is a great host!

Betty’s apartment was such a delight to stay in while we were in the city for a date night. We had no problems getting into the apartment once we realized the key lockbox is at the front of the building and the parking lot is in the back. Wasn’t a big issue at all!
Inside, the place looked even better than the pictures. The place has amazing natural light and high ceilings, and the living and bedroom area are well-appointed. We streamed a movie easily on the TV and loved the cozy couch. At night, you can hear neighbors, which we knew from Betty, but it’s not much different than another city- just bring earplugs if you want.
Betty was so communicative, recommending area restaurants and helping me figure out how to adjust the radiant heat. I really appreciated it!
We will absolutely book this place again. Thanks, Betty!

This was a great place to stay for our overnight trip to Detroit. Betty was very helpful and communicative and the loft was excellent!! Very clean and had a cool vibe. Just a short Uber ride to downtown, so it was perfect. The walls were a little thin, but it didn’t bother us at all. A great place to stay and would definitely recommend!
