About this house rental
Enjoy your stay in this beautiful brick home with amazing views of the Sandia mountains and the north valley in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood. The home offers a large outdoor swimming pool to enjoy in the summer months with a full outdoor kitchen and a Koi pond. There are no neighbors to the north of the property and the home to the east sits below this home, hence unobstructed views of the mountains and Rio Rancho. Inside the home, there are 4 bedrooms located all upstairs with 2 full bathrooms upstairs and a half bath downstairs. There are two living rooms downstairs and an entertainment room . The property has plenty of parking and is located less than 4 minutes from the Cottonwood mall, Best Buy, Sam's club, Costco, Olive Garden, Smith's grocery store, Subway, Burger king, and so much more. The Property is approximately 10 minutes from Balloon Fiesta Park, Rio Rancho and Ventana Ranch.
Enjoy your evening with city lights and a cool breeze, perfect for going on a walk or simply star gazing at night with lots of unobstructed views outside or turn on the fireplace and watch a movie eating popcorn in the living room.
Wake up in the morning and enjoy the beautiful sunrise on the balcony , overlooking the pool, pond and back yard with privacy and serenity. Enjoying your lunch and dinner in the back yard is always a great decision with plenty of shade provided by the outdoor furniture and or the large awnings in place next to the pool.
The host also purchased brand new mattresses for 3 of the 4 beds, new couch, new love seat, new sheets, pillows, comforters, convection oven, new 65 inch TV, coffee maker and more.
Please note if you are renting the home because of the pool only, you must check in with owner to make sure it is open and ready for use prior to renting. Generally speaking, the pool is opened toward the end of April and or mid-May time but again you must check prior to booking. The local weather and other factors can delay and determine when pool is actually opened. Please note there are security cameras for safety readons on the exterior of the property only. This property may just be the cleanest we’ve ever stayed at! All the furniture and every bed was comfortable. The pool…..refreshing. Having the pool floats was very nice. We had a 7, 9, 16, 2x50s and 2x60+ year olds and all had a wonderful time. This property really is a 10!

This was our first time staying in a Vrbo. We were excited when we found this listing back in February when we started planning a vacation to New Mexico. The property offered plenty of space for our family to relax and spread out; it was clean and well maintained. Our kids especially enjoyed the pool! The location was in close proximity to activities we had planned-ABQ BioPark, Old Town and the Museum of Natural History. Our host communicated very well prior to our stay and checked in a couple of times during our visit to make sure we had everything we needed. A great experience and we will definitely use Vrbo (and this property) again!

My wife and I, our two grown children and their spouses, and one 5-year-old stayed there during a family reunion in Albuquerque. We couldn't have been more pleased. The house was outstanding and well-appointed and had everything we needed. Plus, the owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this location.

My family (husband and 2 adult sons with their wives) stayed at Casita on the Hill. It has 4 bedrooms (1 King, 2 small queens, and 1 double). The kitchen and living space was large and perfect for family card games. The pool is large, very clean and refreshing. The location was ideal for us because it was close to shopping and where my sister lives. The hosts were very responsive to inquiries. Please note in the description: alcohol free environment. I did not catch this when booking so it was a surprise. Also note the check in (5 pm) and check out (10 am) times. This worked fine for us but was different than what we are used to. With that said, it’s a large house and they didn’t ask us to start any laundry, just take out the trash. I would stay here again!

This is a lovely home. We came to Albuquerque to celebrate our grandchild's graduation. They invited a couple of friends to swim and eat sandwiches after the ceremony. This was a wonderful place to celebrate

Everything was just as it was advertised. We all loved feeding the goldfish, looking at the views, and cooking in the fabulous kitchen! Plenty of room for all of us to relax and have conversatoins! Where the gazebo is would be a great place for a hot tub : )

This house is absolutely beautiful! Very clean and very spacious! The host was absolutely amazing! Very nice would respond fast no matter what time! Looking forward to booking again in the future! Especially for summer months to be able to let my littles swim!

I rented this property for a week's stay over Thanksgiving with my 3 adult kids, 1 adult granddaughter, and two younger granddaughters. The space was perfect for us. All had enough private space as needed, but multiple common areas as well. We prepped Thanksgiving food for a gathering at my sister's house. The kitchen was well stocked with most of the supplies we needed. Will definitely look first to this rental in the future.

The stay was wonderful convenient neighbors, didn’t bother anybody, barbecue area was wonderful, it was too cold for the pool, but it looked very nice. The balcony of the master was nice got a view of the mountains. Terrific property. Clean. Many towels. Pool was great. Granddaughter loved the fish outside. Owner was available and diligent with follow up. Just a terrific home for a large family. We will return.

Good communication with the owner. Minor issue accessing the house but he fixed that quickly. Great location and were able to view the Balloon Fiesta from the balcony. Pool looked great, unfortunately it's a little too cool this time of year.

Overall we had a great time! House & pool were wonderful! Everything was clean and functional.
Only complaint is there is no blender and for some reason they put a smoke detector above the oven/stove which went off a few times.

Visiting Abq for son's wedding. Casita on the Hill was perfect for our party of 4 adults and 2 kids with an extra room for our son the night prior to his wedding. Spacious bedrooms with comfortable mattresses and great pillows. Master bathroom was huge. The house was clean and well appointed w everything we needed. Nice pool to relax in.
Owner was quick to respond to any needs. Ice maker wasn't working so we just bought a bag of ice. Convenient location with nice view of Sandias. Granddaughters enjoyed looking for balloons in the mornings and spotted a few even though it was mid June!

Spacious house. Owner was great. The views are impeccable. Close to everything you need.
One consideration I would keep in mind, and this is not a knock on the property or the owner, but if you have mobility issues, or smaller kids who walk, but still haven’t quite figured out balance, the stairs up to the bedrooms might become cumbersome. Again, this is not a knock on the house. I just don’t want someone with mobility issues to rent this house , and then give it a poor rating because they didn’t do proper research, because the house and owner truly are 5 star.

I can't say enough good things about this rental property. The house is beautiful, clean and very well kept. Beds are comfortable, pool and grill area are awesome and the view from the balcony upstairs is absolutely gorgeous. Enjoying the mountain view and a good cup of coffee was the perfect way to start each day!
The house is close to everything and in a safe neighborhood. The owner is communicative, kind and had everything we needed for a great stay. We can't wait to come back next year!

The home is located in a very nice neighborhood. Neighbors are friendly but stay to their self. The home is closed in more than the picture shows but overall a great home very welcoming updates on home are great. We had a great time relaxing indoors and outdoors will recommend for a safe home that is right around the corner from everything.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The host was very helpful from the beginning (when I accidentally booked in 2023 instead of 2022!) and quickly responded to messages. The property is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. You really can't beat the view from the Master Bedroom deck, we were out there every day. Would highly recommend this property. It would be a great place to stay for the Balloon Fiesta! The views would be amazing!
