We liked everything but people were a bit noisy at night

I found it to be very comfortable and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. While it isn't a 5-star establishment, it offers fantastic value for money. The pub has a charming, local feel to it, with many of the other customers appearing to be regulars, which adds to the welcoming and easy-going atmosphere. It's a perfect spot for those looking for a cosy, budget-friendly stay with all the warmth and hospitality you'd expect from a neighbourhood pub.

Not what was advertised. Out of town without anything around except vehicle repair places. No restaurants or shops
Small room with nothing to put things on or hang clothes. Small twin beds and shared bathroom down the hall. Moved next day.

A great place to stay in an old tavern. The room I had was excellent and the service was excellent

I was really happy with our stay. The place is a sports bar pub. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. It’s a little old pub and absolutely perfect for our 2 night stay to watch the game at twickenham. Two of us stayed in the hayloft and had a perfectly nice stay

Victor and Olvina were very helpful and friendly! The pub food was yummy and nice to meet locals who visit there each day.

The room was basic but everything spotless. I paid more for an ensuite and this was well appointed and clean. My only gripe would be that the floor in the bathroom was carpeted. There were a few loud noises due to plumbing and the age of the property which could upset light sleepers. However, the staff were friendly, check in was easy and for the cost of other rooms in the area this inn is good value for money.

It's a room above the pub on the ground. It's not a busy pub and you can still get a quiet accommodation. The price is reasonable for short stay in Greater London area. Don't expect too much but you still get what you want in travel.

Lovely old pub with character, friendly staff and locals. Stayed 1 night with my son for rugby. Twickenham 10min walk. Was given a permit to park on the road for free and found a space 50m away. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and staff very nice, especially the Ukrainian lady who served breakfast. Very polite and efficient.

Inn is 350 years old, giving a taste of history. Great beer garden. Accommodating staff.

This was a clean room, had everything I needed. The bathroom has a few areas that could do with a re-paint but everything was very clean and I had plenty of towels etc. provided.
I was a bit disappointed that food wasn't being served but there were plenty of places for me to eat within a short walk. I felt safe walking around on my own in the area.
Access up the stairs would not suit anyone with mobility challenges.

Nice pub and nice people who run this, we were looked after well.
Great location

The new owners are in process of renovating but it doesn't stop a pleasant stay. Its super close to twickenham stadium and breakfast was lovely. Staff are really lovely and friendly. We had the ensuite room but some are shared bathroom which may put people off. On the whole a lovely stay and if we can get in the future wouldn't hestitate to rebook

Had a lovely 2 night stay at the White Hart Inn. The two kids and I were there for my graduation from St. Mary’s university (15 min Uber ride away) and did some sightseeing in London while we were there. It’s about a 15 min walk to Whitton station and then 30 min train ride into central London.
The area felt safe and the locals were friendly. There is a fabulous beer garden. We had a lovely cooked breakfast served by the equally lovely Tania. Breakfast had to be ordered the previous day (we weren't told on check in so missed this for our first morning) and there is an extra, but reasonable, charge.
The room was comfortable enough for the three of us. We were in the attic and each of us received a bump to the head with the low beams ( nothing serious and there are signs everywhere). The stairs up to the attic are in a bit of a spiral. There is hanging space but not for dresses. Tea and coffee making facilities and TV. We were a little short on plug sockets but there were two teenagers and all their gadgets in the party!
The bathroom was small but clean and has a good shower. Towels were a good size - a bath and hand towel each.
We only ate breakfast at the White Hart - didn’t see a menu but the website said they served food. Lovely Indian Restaurant (Jolly’s) about 5 min walk away and the Main Street in Whitton has plenty of shops, cafes and takeaways.
Great place to stay to explore London without spending a fortune on accommodation and parking.

Unique architecture; old and interesting building.
Comfortable stay.
Unusual check in process; made to sign unnecessary documents.

Such a friendly establishment

Did exactly what was expected, great location for Twickenham stadium and perfect at the price point. If you are looking for premium hotel or close to central London look elsewhere but for well priced accommodation for a rugby match at Twickenham it would be hard to beat.

Stayed for two nights for the purposes of transiting through the area. It’s a nice pub but the accommodation is average. Comfortable bed and nice staff (especially the Ukrainian house keeper). The room was tiny and windowless but the main issue was the noise - every sound from elsewhere in the building is amplified into the room and made for two very poor nights’ sleep. Set expectations accordingly.

Clean and friendly

Room was well heated and very clean and the high street was just 5 mins walk away with plenty of good places to eat. But the room itself was very very small and the whole floor was very very creaky - person next door moved about quite a lot which meant it was non-stop creaky noise for almost an hour! No breakfast included and the room was not ensuite - so overpriced in my opinion.

The room was clean but too warm. Had to turn the radiator right down.
Was noisy till around midnight.

Arrived at venue and parked for free on front of property. There are only a few spaces, so parking is limited. No one at bar on walking into venue so had to wait to be seen. Shown to room 4 above pub. Stairs were not steady, no hand rail. Room itself was disappointing but clean, as was shared toilet and bathroom. I had asked for decaf tea and coffee which they had provided in room. TV in room 4 was not pluged in to socket or TV aerial and there was no remote control. On plugging in there were no stored channels on TV. WiFi in room was a poor signal. Saw the kitchen and decided not to eat here.

Friendly staff, clean if basic accommodation with great shower and comfy bed. Everything you need for a short stay.

There was only one member of staff running everything and no-one came out to us. I eventually went to find someone. We were booked for 3 adults. There was one double bed. Mattress way too soft. The showers made an awful noise, could be heard all down corridor. We were not offered to upgrade for breakfast. The kettle in the room was full of dirt. When we left there was no-one of nowhere to leave room key, only a notice stating £10 charge for not leaving key. Eventually we left the key behind the bar in the garden, couldn’t wait to get out
4.0
Parts of the pub are tired, but they have made good efforts to make the rooms (small and larger) comfortable. And there is certainly a focus on cleanliness. The bathrooms are newer with the one in Attic Room 2 very good, though fair to say both rooms showers supplied hot water at reasonable pressure. Ideally located for a visit to Twickenham stadium for Sport or Concert.

Great stay. Room basic and clean, great shower and en-suite. staff a bit noisy in morning but it’s part of the deal with a pub.
Friendly pub. Very limited spaces for parking out front. Street parking available though. All in all great budget option and would stay again.

Great staff, good location, we'll use again

Basic but as expected for the price. Clean and fit for purpose.

Very basic accommodation. Car parking spaces on site were full of white vans and guests seemed mainly to be working men. Would not recommend to single women

Very friendly staff, nice hotel over 300 years old, nice pub.
