The property is very modern and funtional bathroom, electrical instalation. Pedestrian access is unconfortable for senior persons, thru steep street. Breakfast offered (included) is not at all, in the room are boxes of Kelloks cereals, no milk, no hot oatmeal neither eggs. We went out for breakfast. We strongly suggest to include in the presentation documentation include the bagage option to safe guard boxes in the back. How to get a taxi was an imposible task, it is a mandatory information for many turists.

We loved staying at Villa Magiola. It was really a home away from home, fully equipped with everything you could need. The kitchen is great, with lots of equipment for cooking, and its fantastic having a washing machine and dryer in the lobby. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought and energy into making this a great place to stay. Excellent convenient location too

Superbly central apartment in Pompei that you are able to walk to all important parts of the town. Everything was very clean and well appointed and the owner was very responsive for all queries. We will definitely return!

The property has a great parking option and is just infront of the Archeological site of Pompeii. There are amazing dinning options nearby. If I ever visit Pompeii again I´ll be sure to stay here again.

Very comfortable room. Quiet. Easy check in. Owners are not on site but respond quickly to questions and are very helpful. Room is well appointed with fridge, kettle, ever import corkscrew and a large bathroom. Location is fantastic. Ten minute walk to trains and cathedral. Two minute walk to archaeological park and grocery store.

Having the supermarket so close the property was a plus. Right outside the Pompeii site. Short walk to the entrance. Dining options are limited but easy to get groceries and cook. Groceries were cheap in comparison to US prices and usually better quality too. Gas station between accomodation and market was convenient if you have a car and the attendants were super friendly every time we walked by. There are two train stations nearby. We used both and the walk was very doable. The train station to the left was the Circumvesuviana to go to Naples or Sorrento. The one to the right was the Trenitalia station for a nicer journey to Naples when it was time to leave. The apartment was very nicely appointed and the kitchen met all our needs for a family of 6. We washed and dried our clothes before we headed out using the onsite facility which was reasonably priced (you need coins). The only downside to it all was the sound of the train passing by on a regular schedule but it wasn't too bad and you kind of got used to it after a little bit. I highly recommend this apartment if you want to take your time at Pompeii and want to use it as a base to go to Sorrento or maybe Positano.

We last minute booked this guesthouse for our honeymoon and got a really good deal. After speaking with the owner he upgraded us as gift for our trip which was amazing. The rooms were spacious, all have aircon which was a god send for us at night. Only issue is how close the trainline is, its literally at the back of the building but after the first night we didnt notice it anymore, but that first one at 6am its a doozy. Very well situated you're only a 5 minute walk from a supermarket, maybe 5 minutes from the Pompei ruins and 10 from the centre of Pompei town. Avoid eating at the ruins and walk into the town for some great food. Trainstation is nearby too so its very easy to travel. The owner acted fast when the pipe to our shower head ruptured and he had it fixed within a few hours of us letting him know. Walls are kinda thin so you can hear people upstairs and out in the halls but its nothing too serious. I really enjoyed out stay and I'd definitely stay here again. Also if you like cats a lady on the walk down has several very friendly and well kept cats who'll happily let you pet them.

While there is daytime renovation taking place, it starts in the late morning and ends early. The property is located a level 10 minutes from the main Marine entrance to The Pompeii ruins and 15 from the town center and restaurants.

The appartment itself is beautiful, spacious and clean. Kitchen was a nice size and we had a door into a lovely garden area. The kitchen lacks a few essentials but enough to self cater if you wish to. Being a 5 minute walk to the Archiological site of Pompeii and havng a Supermarket next door the location is perfect. Only thing that affected our time there was the train that runs directly behind the property can be a little irritating, but you do get used to it. Please note there is a 80 Euro cleaning bill which isn't advertised on Expedia in advance, payable upon arrival with your local taxes too.

The villa was excellent - Very modern! Very close to both Pompeii but also the train station supermarket and Pompeii shopping. The rooms were well decorated, comfy beds, air con was good. The kitchen facilities were modern clean and worked perfectly. Security wasn’t an issue - good locks to main door etc. We will return! Thank you

Only a short walk to the Pompeii archaeological site and a short walk to the nearest railway station, which is handy for getting into Naples and also goes to Sorrento. Convenient supermarket nearby. Friendly owners who made us feel welcome. Lots of restaurants nearby in Pompeii. We would definitely use this property again!

We chose this property because it was walking distance from Pompeii and trains station. We decided we needed a quiet place to stay and rest for the night before continuing our trip to the coast. Property is located in a quiet residential area amongst other buildings, it is newly constructed and comfortably furnished. Windows had screens, which we appreciated and the shower was comfortably sized for a typical human to be able to raise arms to wash hair... Building has a coin operated washer and dryer and a vending machine for detergent...all reasonably priced and conveniently located on bottom floor. IF you will be doing laundry here make sure to have coins on hand. Kitchen is fully stocked with all cookware, flatware as well as utensils you will need. Kitchen also features full sized fridge, dishwasher and detergent. There is a balcony overlooking an empty field and train tracks Apartment is CLEAN...Owner is very responsive. I notified him when we entered and he was quick to reply. Overall, enjoyed the peace and quiet of this place. Although the property seems to be managed remotely by the owner, we did meet a few young ladies on cleaning/managing staff in the morning when we were leaving. The two ladies were sweet and worm. Would recommend this place.

Great apartment, spacious and very clean. Super comfy beds. Antonio and the team are really friendly and accommodating and provided pick up and return transportation from Naples Airport. Location is perfect for a stay 5 mins walk to Pompeii ruins, 10 mins walk to train station to Naples/Sorrento and 10 mins walk to lots of restaurants in Pompeii center.

The owner was friendly and accommodating, even bringing my mom some medication from his own house when I mentioned she wasn't feeling well. Nice room, very clean, modern looking, warm. It was a really nice stay. A bit far from the train station if you're walking with luggage (we were), but very close to Old Pompeii. We were able to use the washer and drier for 6€, and store our luggage there for 2€. We recommend this lovely hotel.

We booked this apartment as it stated that it had a “pool”. This is one of the main reasons we book it. When we arrived a notice was up saying that the pool was out of order. I ask if it would be repaired and they said that as it was Sunday no one worked and they would have to get someone to look at it later. I said that we had only booked the apartment a week before an that maybe we/ Hotels.com could have been notified and they said that this was not possible. We noticed that the sign up where the pool was had clearly been up for some time and so this was not a new problem. On a whole a quick stay over to visit Pompei is fine but I would not suggest this as a longer stay.

This property was exactly what we needed for an extended stay. Rooms were extremely comfortable and well sized. Pull out sofa was very comfortable too so its great for families and extra sleeping space. Property was very clean. Kitchen is very well appointed with a cooktop, large refrigerator/freezer, microwave and even a dishwasher. The property is close to the train line but it adds character when you're dinning on the terrace and the interior is still very quiet. Location is great, steps from the grocery store and cultural sites. We would certainly stay again.

Our stay was wonderful! The room was newly updated and extremely clean. There was a nice patio and other facilities were great. The kitchen was ideal for cooking at home and had plates, cups, pots/pans, etc. Everything was perfect! I can’t recommend this place enough.

Wonderful stay! We had a late arrival and found this place to be nicely accommodating with their lock box check in process. The communication with the owner/ manager was good and we received very quick responses when we had questions! The room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Great spot if you want to spend a couple of days in Pompei (you can reach the ruins at both main gates with a 8 minutes walk). Ideal for a family which is seeking privacy and independence. Provided with air conditioning. Be advised there’s a railroad nearby but busy at night.

Clean as a whistle! Nice staff. Good beds. The 24/7 supermarket is 5 min. away. The hotel is very near Pompei Scavi Station, which again is 10m from the main entrance to Pompei Ruins. Only thing: if you want to have information from the staff, seek it right away. They are not always there. Things like where to call in an emergency, taxi service, you can trust being on time, and won’t take all your money etc.

We loved our stay at the Villa Magiola. We spent 8 nights in the 2 bedroom apartment and it was simply lovely. We wanted to tour Pompeii numerous days and it is like a 5 minute walk or less to the ruins! The villa is clean and very well equipped.

Spend there three weeks for business. The (8) apartments are modern, clean, spacy and complete. Reasonable good beds also. Only a few hundred meters away from the entrance of the Pompeii Scavi and a 24H opened Carrefour. There passes a train close to the apartment which is quite loud. Only a few trains per hour though and not during night time. One big remark: the neighbourhood does not offer much parking space nearby the villa. There is a big and private parking dedicated to the villa. The manager does not live nearby the villa, which is the reason why he did not want to open up the gate during low season I expect. When I parked at the two, almost always empty, spaces in front of the villa I was (friendly) asked to remove my car. This was quite annoying, lots of empty parking area nearby, and me struggling to find a place in the way to small streets nearby. All just because the manager did not want to open the gate or give me a key of this gate (I asked for). Everything else, perfect.
