When I booked the hotel, continental breakfast was included - part of the reason I chose this location over other similarly priced hotels. Upon check-in, I was informed that the breakfast option is not currently available.
The room was small, the bathroom was dirty with mould on the walls. The toilet had no lid. The walls were extremely thin. The "garden view" showed an unkempt mess with trash and weeds abundant. Completely misleading listing.

Deluxe room included a living room area with a comfy sofa, much appreciated. Could use an additional chair for 3-4 person seating. Beds were clean and comfortable. Need to deal with bathroom mould issues and minor window maintenance. Overall, good stay close to Gatwick for the price.

I picked this hotel because i thought it was fairly close to the train station, it's not. It's about a 25 minute walk. The hotel is clean and quiet. The beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is very clean. We were on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator, but the concierge carried my suitcase up the 3 flights. The staff is very polite and helpful. I didn't realize there was a breakfast available, it is very basic though. If you want more, there is a Sainsbury's Express across the street. This is a good place to rest your head.

Served it's purpose for an overnight stay for a flight .
Rooms are dated but relatively clean . Breakfast was pathetic , but there is a Sainsbury's across the road .

Hosts were terrible

Lovely room with comfortable clean bed. A lot could be done to the rear garden to make it a usable space. I would definately use again.
3.2
Hotel and room need maintenance

Our flight landed earlier than check-in time and we were super lucky that our room was ready for us. They were so gracious and accommodating to allow us to go in early! Our room was larger than expected (for 7 people instead of 5) so we were very comfortable. We are so grateful to have found this place and will absolutely want to go back if we return to London! (They are 5min by car from the Gatwick Airport, about 20min by bus on line 400; and then a little more than 1h from London. We ate at a nice fish and chips restaurant nearby and there were other restaurants within walkable distance. Convenient location too!)

Advertisement says air conditioning but alas that is only at certain times of the year. When we called to ask how to turn on the air conditioner we were told that it was not operating since it was winter (late March/early April 20+ degrees Celsius / 72+ degrees Fahrenheit outside, much warmer in the room. )
Choose carefully if renting during “shoulder seasons”, since heaters were radiators, could be these aren’t heated as it gets cool, still operating (as was the case when we were there) when no longer needed.

The bathroom was opposite the room and was in extremely poor condition. Taps broken. Shower was very dirty. The side stands on our bedroom were falling apart.
You could hear ever noise as there was a big gap in bottom of the door. Barely slept and I recommend the property gets a handyman to fix all the broken bits around. I would have spoken to someone but there was no one at reception at when we checked out.

Room was good. Clean and good bed. Large tv. Breakfast not great unfortunately. Good room for the price.
3.2
Convenient to airport . Staff lovely. But quiot cover ripped and dirty quilt . Many stains . Bathroom clean but very old and stained . Flush sounded like jet landing . Felt very unsafe and grubby
3.2
Big hairs on the bathroom wall, dripping shower all night, window in Bathroom didn’t shut, tv resting on top of dresser

Although I arrived much later than expected and only stayed until morning it was perfect for my needs. The free continental breakfast was also the perfect thing for a traveler on a tight timeline. However, for me, the best part was after checking in rather late my bags were carried up to my room for me. I knew they didnt have an elevator and understand many old buildings in Europe dont, but after a very long day plagued by delayed flights this was very much welcomed and appreciated
3.2
Wasnt sure what to expect after mixed reciews but we have a quadruple room. Was very good size
Bayhroom was clean. Sheets all seemed clean and comfy beds.
Taxi was £20 to airport at 3am
3.2
We had a late check in and the staff was very helpful
3.2
To be fair our room was clean. Noise from reception was a problem for us, as we were woken up a couple of times during the night. Our room was classed as deluxe but was on the small side and had a cracked sink. Outside the view to the garden was not nice. Seemed to be a dumping ground for old items.
3.2
This place is not a hotel. It is a dirty hovel. Smels of sewers in bathroom as the bath and sink are taled into sewer line. Beds are manky. I have a video to prove it. No bar. No food. It is a dump. 1/2 a chicken in box on the ground at front door.
3.2
The hotel was chosen due to how close it was to Gatwick’s long term parking. Bed wasn’t that comfortable. And a couple of hygienic issues.
3.2
It was a great place to hang for a couple of nights and sleep off jet-lag. Nice little store directly across the road and an easy walk to the pleasant Horley town centre.
3.2
Does exactly what it needs to do, clean, but not in the best shape, all the windows are holding on by one or 0 hinges, the sign letters are mostly missing(while not a big deal, kinda shows they dont put much if any effort into repairs)
3.2
It was clean but the bathroom needed some upgrades
3.2
The toilet was incredibly noisy and didn't flush properly, but they refused to change our room or to cancel and give us a refund. After chatting with expedia and long discussions with the manager on the phone we eventually cancelled
3.2
Great for an early flight. Good pub with food within 5 mins.
Did what we needed.
Very clean and beds good.
3.2
We really like the hotel facilities and around the area is very close to shops.
Also staff was very kind and helpful all the time.
We enjoyed a lot.
3.2
Nice room but I couldn't work out how to use the shower as some of the fittings didn't seem to be working. The lamp above the bed wasn't workin. It was also very noisy in the night with people loudly going up and down stairs and in the reception area and cars going back and forth from the hotel gravel forecourt.
The chap on the reception was very nice and welcoming on arrival but no-one was on duty during the night.
3.2
For the price, it was great. Basic place convenience for one night. The rooms were clean, the shower is nice and hot and the beds are comfortable. The staff was friendly and courteous.
3.2
Great location for the airport without a doubt, but not very comfortable at least the room we were in. The cupboard top hasn't been dusted, duvet sheet was ripped and revealed a very natty duvet filling in need of changing. the bed felt like it was broken in half to the point we needed to put our pillows at the foot end and sleep with our legs at a decline angle. For a quick no frills kip before an early flight, go for it, anything else, just don't.
3.2
Place has obviously seen better days, but when looking for a cheap bed for the night (allowing for parking cost) near Redhill / Reigate / Crawley/Gatwick you could do worse. Overall good value for money, inclusive breakfast basic, but what we wanted (Corn Flakes, toast and jam and tea/coffee) Get feeling they are trying to improve / update etc, so perhaps will be better next time!
3.2
Has the basics and close to the airport and ok value for the cost.
3.2
Comfortable bed. Clean. Lots of tea and coffee.
Unfortunately:
- only provided with 1 towel (hand-towel)
- no shampoo etc
- no hair dryer
- duvet was far too heavy
- photos on booking showed breakfast but no breakfast
- hallways and stairs very poorly decorated - like a doss-house
- shower located beyond extent of shower door so water splashed everywhere. Missing tap handle.
- curtains missing some hooks
- when I arrived heating was full on and windows wide open
- mis-matched furniture
- no headboard
- scaffolding covered building
Would not stay again.

Hotels.com should send a representative to see the conditions of this hotel before listing. Overall it is terrible. No A/C not even a fan, dirty, very poor service and moreover it is not a hotel at all. Somebody converted an old house to a hotel.
3.2
I was solo and just needed somewhere to crash for an evening so this suited me fine. I doubt I would stay longer than one night though.
3.2
It was an ok but a noisy place
3.2
my staff was here over night as i booked it myself the stay was a disgrace, the room was disgusting plugs hanging off the wall, mould on my bed sheets, black marks on carpet, no handles on drawers, there bed had collapsed, and the window was hanging off, i now have all pictures of everything mentioned, The lads or any of our staff will not be returning. Ignore pictures they advertise on here as these are not true, its false advertising, I hope this matter gets sorted. I will be asking for a full refund, This is NOT hotels.com fault we stay in a lot of hotels with them due to work they are unaware of what's happening and this defiantly should be removed.

We had to stay at this property last minute due to flight changes. We are a traveling family if 4 and it is challenging to find a family room in London. We were able to obtain a family room in this inn. However the hotel is old, needs repair, the carpets are disgusting and we did not take off our socks or shoes in the room. The bed had a spider in it when I opened the covers. The covers and sheets were white but there was no mattress pad and you could see stains on the mattress. The tea kettle had mold and the refrigerator smelled of mold. When we pulled into the Inn late at night it was a little scary with the area and other people booked at the hotel. The whole experience was not good and I was glad we were only there for 7 hours and back to the airport for our flight out. Would not recommend this hotel.
3.2
Ok place to stay while in transit. Comfortable and clean beds. Accommodating staff. Call them if you have questions/requests as messages might be overlooked.
3.2
Very well presented hotel with helpful staff. Excellent decor in bedroom and generally. Useful Sainsbury's petrol station across the road, open until 11pm.
3.2
Will not recommend
3.2
Google Maps makes the place a little difficult to find, but the staff is helpful and friendly when you do arrive. The room offered a lot of ventilation and storage space. An overall good experience.
