This is going to be one of those "I wish I could leave 10 stars" reviews - - we needed a place to stay for the solar eclipse, and we chose this one. PERFECT choice. I would stay here again, zero questions asked. Luey and Norris are marvelous! We stayed in the third floor (The Cole) which was beautifully decorated and appointed. The morning breakfasts were terrific, and the hosts were genuinely warm and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to ANY friend or family member. Terrific!

Nothing but praise for this place. Luey and Norris are running a wonderful operation - their property strikes the perfect balance between luxury and homeliness. The house and the guest rooms are beautiful. We stayed just one night with our 18-month-old, and they could not have been more accommodating. Would love to have stayed longer and will now have to find a reason to return!

My family and I rented a room and the loft at this property for my husband's birthday celebration and we absolutely enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back. It is centrally located and the place is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant and truly loved her amazing hospitality. Breakfast was delicious and she asked us in advance of any known allergies which I truly appreciate. If you are looking for a quick get away or girl bonding time, I would highly recommend the Plantation House Boutique Inn. Can't wait to go back!!

A wonderful and enjoyable experience we had at the Plantation House. This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and it was wonderful. The house was in great condition with everything being so well thought out and a great experience for the guests. All the decorations and rooms were truly top notch. The host Luey was amazing and was so welcoming and cooked amazing meals each day. I will truly miss the pleasant conversations and wonderful meals she made each morning. We will be sure to stay here again on our next trip to Texas!

My daughters play travel softball so we have had our fair share of stays at hotels. This, by far was the best experience we’ve ever had. The hotel is clean, the service is fantastic and unmatched like anywhere we’ve ever been to. We for sure will find a way to get back here even if just to visit for a staycation, or for any reason really. Simply the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Luey and Norris are the cherries on top to a wonderful stay and experience.

I was skeptical when I saw Plantation House had a perfect rating, but I can tell you it's well deserved!! Luey and Norris are so welcoming and friendly, taking care of everything from water and snacks for a day out 'touristing' to recommendations for sightseeing and dining. They go the extra mile and really show they care about each guest and share a lot about their own family and lives. The easiest way to sum it up is to say: usually the accomodation is just where you stay during the trip, but in this case the accommodation IS the trip. We are already talking about when we can go back for no other reason than to stay here again. I can not recommend the Plantation House highly enough!

Wonderful experience at The Plantation House. The home is as beautiful and comfortable as the pictures display. Luey is a divine host and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. Breakfast was 5 star -- and while we only were able to spend one night -- we will be back. The vibe is relaxing and recharging....pool is nice and the entire home and yard is tastefully decorated. Highly recommend!

I’m glad that I made the choice to stay at Plantation House Inn while I was visiting my sister who is in college. I truly felt welcome and well taken care of by our ever gracious hosts Luey and Norris. The room we stayed in was beautiful, warm, and well appointed. There was an abundance of delicious homemade snacks by the chef extraordinaire Luey. There are also many common areas to relax. I would definitely love to stay in the future!

Amazing find! Beats any 4 or 5 star hotels. French country interior is so very charming and welcoming. Property is clean and immaculate. Breakfast menu were omelet, french toast, then pancakes on the third AM. The breakfast made us look forward to getting up in AM. Dorky but true. Coffee was also spot on. Book The Plantation House. You won't be sorry.

This was one of the most amazing places to stay. Felt very welcoming as we took our first steps inside. Personal touches all over from water, cookies and cake. Great swimming pool to enjoy. Wait… do I see this right? This little B&B has 5 stars?? have so many positive things to say about this stay that I’m not sure where to start. We can start with it’s an immaculate gorgeous property that makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet you are minutes from a Costco and many great places to eat. The hostess Luey and her husband Norris are about the most kind people you could hope to meet. She bakes cookies and banana bread and it’s always available in the kitchen with other refreshments and snacks. She cooks amazing breakfasts. Something different every day. The rooms have a wonderful feel. Decorated in a very entertaining way. Our room was full of goodies and fruit. There were board games as well. The beds were very comfortable. We had the loft room. It was very spacious and had the comforts of home. She gave us some bubbly to celebrate my wife and I’s anniversary. Honestly we didn’t want to leave. We felt like family after we left. I have been in the travel industry for a long time. I have stayed many places. I have never felt the way this place made me feel while traveling and staying in a hotel accommodation. This is a hidden gem and lives up to its reputation. I would come back to Austin just to stay here again. They deserve every star!!

Incredible house with a beautiful property that guests can enjoy. Peaceful and relaxing. Luxurious rooms with buttery soft sheets. The hosts were welcoming and kind. Breakfast each morning was wonderful. The hosts have clearly invested a tremendous amount of time and energy making to ensure all guests feel pampered and comfortable. The tiny details make it feel like a 5-star hotel. There are several secluded sitting areas, with daybed swings and rocking chairs, that make you feel as if you were transported into another era.. one without the huddle and bustle of today.

We loved our stay at this property and wished we could stayed longer. There was nothing they could have done to improve our experience. Everything was perfect. We stayed in the Owner’s Suite. It was roomy, beautifully decorated and pristine. We, also, loved our private balcony overlooking the gardens and Gazebo. Hopefully, we can work in another visit, soon!

We absolutely loved this charming little place! I cannot begin to describe how perfect our weekend was at the plantation house. The house is immaculate and decorated to perfection. Luey has thought of everything when it comes to accommodations. While we enjoyed our room and beautiful balcony, our favorite part was enjoying breakfast with Luey and Norris. Such great human beings who are the most genuine kindhearted and caring individuals. I felt like I was visiting family and I can’t wait to come back!
