Dont be confused by the listing saying entire house. It is a house with many locked bedrooms. Basically a hostel style arrangement. The place is clean and comfortable. The landlord enters the facility at all times with out knocking or calling which is very disturbing. The place has cameras and anytime I brought a family member over they insisted on charging me. I only spent late nights there as I was in VANCOUVER all day. If you want any kind of privacy dont stay here.

Older house but very clean and so quiet! Provided the basics and they were excellent at any correspondence and answered right away. I would definitely recommend.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Sparkling, spotless bathroom and clean towels. The floors were immaculate, and the bed was comfortable with the crisp and fresh bedding. Had an amazing garden with a tree full of juicy plums. However, the room was very small and tight as it only fits a king size bed and a little bedside table. The place lacked basic amenities like tissue paper, shower gel and laundry detergent which we assumed was provided. Plus there was no iron or iron table. We faced issues with a very slow Wi-Fi during our stay as well. In general the room was good and quiet.

Amazing property. Thank you for all your hospitality.

The Grand Quadruole Room was perfect for a quick 24-hour visit in and out of Vancouver for our family of 2 adults and 2 kiddos (ages 8 and 4). We had a private bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. The dark curtains were great. Very easy to come in and out. Having access to a kitchen was handy. Also, the backyard was fun for the kids on a hot Summer day, oh and legit the AC in the basement suite was awesome. I would say excellent for a shorter trip of 1-3 days. Owners did a good job on this suite rental. If I were to add one 'nice to have' would be for the television to be on a swivel mount on the wall so it could tilt more openly towards both beds. Overall, 10 out of 10.

Very friendly and helpful host - very well designed and equipped, everything is there as you would have at home - very clean - there was even a bowl of dog food and treats filled at the entrance when we arrived, very thoughtful and makes you feel welcome - access to a nice and spacious back yard
The only drawback was the size of the bedroom, a king sized bed didn’t leave much space in the room and the bed was only accessible from one side or the foot end - also bathroom was rather small - if it wasn’t for the room size, an “excellent” rating would be given

It’s a nice house and we love to stay there, very clean and has everything you need.

The house was quiet, clean, comfortable, and exactly what i was looking for. I had a lovely stay and would stay there again.

I will go again

The property is very nice all rooms are equipped and with its own washrooms. Lots of parking available and it is very clean just like being on a five star hotel. It feels like your in your own home.

I have stayed at a lot of hotels through Expedia, which have been great. This was the best so far. We had 7 people on the trip. It felt like we were own house. There was a big refrigerator, stove, washer/dryer, and ample beds to sleep in. It is newly remodeled and very clean. The property is really close to shopping and dining. The communication with the owner was great. I will definitely be coming back here on trips to Vancouver in the future. I recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Vancouver.

Very quiet, host was very accessible and everything needed was provided.

Quite house was excellent!

Great owner. Great place to stay.

Firstly there was dog food left out in the kitchen which smelt. The bin was not emptied before I arrived. There were moths flying around the kitchen and living room everyday. This was really annoying when cooking and eating. Found quite a few dead moths on the countertop.
And now the owner claims I have damaged the stairs and will not refund my deposit (which was difficult to give in the first place as I am not from Canada or America). I am always a careful person when staying at another property so I’m certain I did not do this.
One good thing is the area, close to the grocery store/restaurants and a short walk to the park for anyone staying with pets.

DO NOT EVER STAY HERE! I REPEAT!! NEVER STAY HERE! These people are horrible to deal with rude inconsiderate! This place is horrible! They only care about taking your money! They accept ZERO responsibility for anything then blame it on Expedia!

I really enjoyed my stay! Such a comfy bed...hard to leave. Appreciated the extras, rosewater shampoo, flowers, prints of classic paintings, and the quiet location. Lovely home, would recommend!

Late night access is confusing in the dark. No ice from refrigerator or trays. Nina's mailbox was "full".
4.3
The place was exactly what I was looking for. Clean, nicely set up with the right amount of amenities. The only concern was the communication wasn't great. I was sent wrong checkin instructions, had to call a number and wait for the host to call me back for the right instructions

Misleading post!
The post states you get the entire house for yourself but that’s not the case. The property is shared with the owners and other guests. I made a one week reservation to spend my anniversary with my wife, we were greeted by Nina and another 2 gentlemen thinking they were only going to show us the property. I didn’t want to make a big deal once I noticed the property was to be shared, I figured it must be a common thing to do. On the second day I rented a car which I was asked to only park it in front of the property or on the driveway, no other place even when I suggested I could park it at the end of the street because there was no parking available in front of the property but Nina said no that was not an option. Then later that da was asked to also not park in on the driveway because it was blocking their own cars. It wasn’t until the 3rd day my wife and I were gone for the entire day and came back to the property late afternoon and we noticed there were some stains in the toilet so I let Nina know that wasn’t neither one of us which it wasn’t taken very well by the gentleman and Nina. I got called weird and the gentleman demanded me to go to sleep, but instead I decided to leave the property with my wife that same night. We had to look for somewhere else to stay being past midnight and for the remaining days for that week. We booked through Expedia and we were refunded after knowing the situation we went through.

The house isn’t very big, but it is clean and comfortable.
4.3
Very clean and well located...at walking distance for fast-food restaurant, market and pharmacy.
Internet hardly works so it was not possible to do much work. The TV also block regularly since it is linked to internet and does not have much to offer.

Hostess went away and we did not receive instructions on how to get into the property until we were in transit to Vancouver. We did not have data on our phone and were unable to read the text she sent to us on how to get in. Luckily we were able to reach her at the phone # provided to us.
We had spent much time on the website looking at her available rooms and were certain we had reserved a room in the newly-renovated section of the house. On arrival we found we'd been put in the old, dark, very dated section of the house. Kitchen counters, stove and all the stuff on the counters felt greasy and in need of some attention with Mr. Clean.
Room was very small with no working reading light.
Appreciated that the hostess was away because this gave us essentially private accommodation since the one other very nice young renter was out most of the time.
Would not choose to stay here again (at least not in the old upstairs section of the house).

Nice area, lots of very good restaurants within walking distance

Room was basically two double beds and a bathroom, and a small tv and desk. No frills but that's fine by me. Straight to the point. Neighborhood was very quiet and safe.
Self-check in was organized by email, no staff on-site.
There was a small mishap when another guest entered the room while I was there. It turns out they had been given the same room as me! Problem was easily resolved and they were given another room.
I just can't imagine what would have happened if I had been checking in late at night.

Thank you Nina for having me stayed at your property for 5 days. Overall, I enjoy my stay and these are the reasons why:
1. Your property is located in a quite and thief free neighborhood. I parked my car on your street for 5 nights and no one touched it. I am thankful for this.
2. Your property is located 5 minutes drive away from a food plaza. This is a plus.
3. My room is considered a regular size room, about 10ft width at 14ft length. It’s just the perfect size for me since I am a solo traveller. I am thankful that I had my own bathroom within my room which was very convenient and clean.
4. My bed was extremely soft and comfortable. As you mentioned, it’s a new mattress. I notice that the bed covering was real clean. A+
5. I was kinda uncomfortable with the shared kitchen and living space but I got accustom to it. I also got the privilege to meet a few couples who stayed there as well.
To be considered for future stays:
The only the thing missing is: A clock in my room. I recommend a regular wall clock or an alarm clock.
It’s good to have a make up remover or shower cap for ladies. Some hotels have these but not all of them.
A small toothpaste, toothbrush and lotions for travellers who might forget this.
Lastly, adjustable dim switched for the bright lights within the rooms.
Otherwise than these minor stuff, my trip couldn’t have need better. Thank you once more.

The advertised space was not the actual room the property owner provided.

The owner went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. She was pleasant and always ready to help.

Stayed 4 nights in room 2. Very clean and modern private bathroom. Well-equipped common kitchen with coffee, tea, cream, and on-demand hot water. Very quiet neighborhood. There are several units in this home and no resident manager. The pillows were comfy, but the bed was brutal and hard as a rock... like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. I wound up sleeping on top of 3 pillows. The room was clean with a small desk and closet. Lighting was very bright with 4 pot-lights in the ceiling, a lamp would be a nice touch for night time. A hook on the back of the bathroom door would also help. No air conditioning, so it is a bit stuffy. Huge sundeck and big yard.
4.3
Clean & immaculate, proximity to shopping and restaurants. Host is hospitable

I liked everything, for what you're paying the place is more than expected. Nice neighborhood too, seriously, check this place out if you're on a budget.
4.3
Its not a hotel or motel so there are no front desk persons to interact with. I never met Nina the property manager but I have no idea what she looks like...I mentioned that because it was hard to understand her based on my limited talking interactions. I got the feeling Nina's first language was not English. The overall stay was good, no complaints whatsoever.
4.3
Exceptionally quiet place and neighborhood. Room was thoroughly clean. The door alarm batteries weren’t working but the housekeeper changed the batteries immediately. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed the king bed, the large common area living room, dining room and kitchen. It was nice to cook our breakfast with organic eggs there for us in the fridge! The cleaning gal was there several times a day so it was sparkling clean all over!
4.3
Very quiet residential area, like's home feeling, clean room for mid-term stay. Not too far to transit system.
