Great ski location, through we stayed there in off season. It's a centre of chairlifts/cable-cars for panoramic views of Mont-Blanc and other mountain ranges. South facing balcony was a great feature of my apartment. Kids loved clouds covering the mountains in front and everything becoming foggy in few minutes... and then a bright day again :)
Also, having a bath, a toilet separate and a combined shower/toilet were excellent facilities when staying with grownup children :)
Perhaps carpets need a bit of cleaning as there were a few stains and they were a bit smelly as well.

The location is a top destination for hikers (mainly in summer), skiing and snowboarding area as well. There are several routes for hiking available and the surroundings are breathtaking for those who love nature. There is ample huge free parking space. Don't feel like taking the car for a trip, don't worry! You step right into nature in every direction of your stay. The studios are very neat and spacious, equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, private toilet and TV. Furthermore, extra attention is spend to the safety of the guests, for example by means of a code for the main entrance and two keys for the rooms.
Unfortunately, arriving early to check in can be confusing. It is not clear where exactly the reception is. Only around 8:30 am and 5:00 pm an electronic wall goes up, behind which the reception (stairs up) is hidden. Not always obvious when you visit for the first time. The staff at the counter is very friendly and helpful. However, Booking.com sometimes send a (pin)code that turns out not to be the code needed to open the front door. This was provided on site at the time of registration. However, they claimed to have sent a code by text message or email, which does not seem to be entirely correct. Point for improvement is, but not strictly necessary, that there are no dining options available in the building itself. However, you can go to the immediate vicinity or you have to take the car. In high season there is a restaurant available in the building.

All very new, modern, comfortable
After we have checked out, receptionist told us we need to clean the kitchen and remove bed linens and put the towels all together in the room, otherwise we will not get our deposit back… that was really weird, as we cleaned the kitchen as much as wee could, and I have never had to remove bed linens and etc. That was not what we have expected in 4* hotel.

Great location. The lady on the reception desk was brilliant.....informative, polite, kind.
General layout of apartment good. Kitchen and bathroom fine. Kitchen had most things that were needed to cook. Warm and light.
The pillows were big and square and very uncomfortable. I ended up rolling up my jumper and slept on that as it was more comfortable. There was only one small comfy setee for a 5 person apartment, so only 2( or 3 little ones) could sit down comfortably at a time to watch a film / TV together . The others had to sit on the kitchen chairs.which got very hard after a while! Could do to have a couple more comfy chairs.
The can opener was useless!! Needs upgrading
3.0
The view and location to ski school and ski lift.
The pillows and the noise of the expel air in the kitchen at night time. The pillows gave us all neck pain. My husband and i slept on the sofa bed, and although the sofa bed itself was ok, the noise of the expel air in the kitchen was so loud, it was pretty unbearable, neither of us slept well. There should be an option to switch it off the expel-air at night.
Also the apartment wasnt very clean - there was dirt and dust on skirting boards and in corners of rooms.

Location for skiing was good.
La foret is a good location to stay.
In an emergency outside working hours there is no reception or security for the hotel .

location
drain smell in room and inflexible early check out

Overall, this place is nice and comfortable. Especially its location, only like 100m to the chair lift. Very convenient. Staff are nice and helpful. I will certainly come back for my next visit.,
4.5
location, locker room, south facing, friendly staff.
the ski lockers could do with heated boot driers.

Price, cleanliness, location to the lifts, rental shop in the same building.
wasn’t anything I didn’t like, but just to note, Great space for two people, 3 would be comfortable but any more might feel tight
2.0
convenient for shops
walk to slopes, stains on carpet, paper thin walls

Clean, spacious, facing the front of the apart-hotel. Huge beautiful Christmas tree in front of the window.

Its nice place to stay for hiking in Flaine area. Shops, cafes and restaraunts are near by, parking is on a steep hill above hotel (but, hey, you are here for hiking). Room is very good, has everything you need and nice mountain view.

Were stayed for two nights in summer. Amazing view to the mountains. Fully equipped kitchen. As the front desk working hours did not match our arrival time, they offer self check-in option with keys left in code locked box outside the building. Together with keys we got all the information need for the stay.
No washing machine in apartment. But they have laundry service available so that is not a big issue.
4.5
Excellent and clean rooms for a really small price - even the sofa beds were well-designed and comfortable which is not always the case. The host crew was really flexible: we couldn't arrive until 8PM (reception's closure time), but we got the keys in a locker box anyway easily - well done, well communicated! Location was really nice and the long-term parking + short-term parking places are also well thought thru. Although the entire village seems to be a relic of the 1970s where everything was made from concrete (excellent choice for architects interested in this era!), the rooms are still in a really good shape. We would love to see this valley also in winter if it was not that far away...
Not much. Probably if you are interested in visiting Chamonix and the Mt. Blanc area (like we were) this location is not the best since you have to climb a huge pass (30+ mins with car) which is basically a dead end - then next day you have to go down, visit Chamonix and climb back again. :-) But it was soooo much cheaper than anything near Chamonix that even this detour was ok for us.

Good location, decent facilities
The apartment was quite cramped for the 5 of us
4.0
Really pleasant stay. Hotel was seamless.
Transfers expensive unless coach is used. Coach us pretty good but making it easier to understand the route and make reservations would be helpful.
3.5
location
the mattresses were far too hard

location. cheap for where it was and more that adequate for us. basic but ok fir a few days
tired and needs an update. arrived and it was not spotless. dirty dishes in dishwasher and a spider and web on ceiling. bathroom grouting was pretty poor, black and rotting in places.

Well furnished apartment, good size for 2 people, excellent English speaking staff. Supermarket, excellent bakery and many more shops and restaurants nearby. Happy we took the balcony: loved the great views. Very close to the ski lifts.
During busier times noise from teenagers. But not Pierre & Vacance fault. Only thing we missed was an oven. Beds could be better.
