Vriendelijk, professioneel personeel! Mooie locatie.
Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd, kamer, ontbijt, diner. Chapeau!

Lovely hotel. Great position on waterside. Spotlessly clean and well fitted out room. Only stayed overnight en route to ferry and didn't eat in but its restaurant is said to be very good.

Excellent location, modern clean rooms.`
Excellent service from the super friendly staff; our dog was also treated as a real guest.

Close to shops and the Marina
The bath with shower attachment was difficult to operate.
The coffee machine was impossible to operate.

location good, management and staff friendly
food and drinks prices were high the gourmet menu was disappointing and would need improvement before we would consider returning.

Enjoyed a lovely late lunch on the veranda upon arrival and enjoyed the beautiful view of the estuary.
The hotel restaurant was closed for the evening and although another nearby restaurant was recommended we were made to feel rushed there and treated rather rudely. Obviously not the hotel’s fault but it ruined our evening.
Our room faced the road and we were woken at 4:40am by a hydraulic truck picking up the trash and it was difficult to get back to sleep with the slamming of truck doors. Again, not the hotel’s fault but an estuary view room would have been better if available.

Wonderful hotel with excellent, friendly staff. Very clean and amazing waterside location.
For an "expensive" hotel, the room was quite small and there was no shower (except for a bath tap attachment)

We were given an upgrade and had a wonderful room with sea views. Breakfast was excellent and in the beautiful dining room.
All staff were brilliant and went out of their way to be helpful.
Nothing. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations.

The room was good, the food was amazing, the views were stunning and the town itself is lovely. Very nice walks along the coastline and the locals were very friendly.
There wasn't anything we didn't like but food on the breakfast buffet would have benefitted from being better protected from the flies.

Location excellent. Service very poor.
The evening receptionist was surly and unhelpful. My daughter was initially told she was too late to request a cot for her 8 month old, then that she could have one but she would have to take it the room and assemble herself, we were happy to do this but her manner was unacceptable. When she requested sheets the receptionist said she was too busy and had phones to answer - they were not noticeably ringing. The restaurant, bar and lounge were closed. When my daughter asked to use the high chair she found under the stairs to give her baby some tea she was first told no, then to do it in the lobby and finally grudgingly allowed to put it in the lounge. On arrival at breakfast I was asked my drink preference and asked for tea - 30 minutes later it had not arrived.
I appreciate the hospitality industry has recruitment issues but the hotel should make it clear on the website that full facilities are not available and consider a reduction in rates to reflect this.

nice location
I don’t think I have ever been refused dinner in a hotel I am staying in due to not booking in advance. I would say the waiting staff need to be a little more friendly in their demeanour.

love Carteret and the views from the property are fabulous.
the restaurant service wasn’t fantastic, although the food was very good. had to ask for water and ask for coffee and digestives at the end of the meal. Also trying to get the bill at the end of the evening, we had to wait whilst three waiters talked to the only other couple in the restaurant for 15 mins.

The View from room our
At the time of booking, we should have been told that the in house restaurant and bar are closed on Monday's and Tuesday. For us your staff recomended a small restaurant opposite, which was excellent value

Little to no parking, the limited parking was taken up by Parisians, I had to park my car about 1 kilometer away and walk to the hotel.

The staff was very helping, there is no proper car park, so we rent a spot in the garage.
We ate at the restaurant, it was very good.
The room was big and clean with view on the street.
