Lovely place, just little bit quiet for us.

The hotel exterior is not great but once inside everything is good. The location is very good with shops and restaurants and beautiful beach within walking distance.
Our room was very good and bed was very comfortable. Food was good and brilliant
that you get drinks included for half board.

Hotel nice and clean, however I was very I’ll from food poisoning from the dining room, I could not eat anything from the dining room for 2 days and could only drink water, the dining room and bar area are far from good places to relax, canteen style restaurant and airport like bar, no adult only place to sit and no outside place to sit after 6pm, such a lot of areas closed off at night which would be so pleasant for adults, pool bar and all of the area shuts at six just leaving the one main bar in reception which is very loud and lacks atmosphere, would only stay again on room only basis

Spot on. Will definitely be returning. Marvellous staff. Pool is superb and travel distance to the beach is short. Delighted with the food in the restaurant and pool bar. Only minor quibble is that a walk in shower would be better than a shower over the bath, notwithstanding that it was a good shower.

- location is good as it’s next to the sea and few shots and restaurants around but very far from the airport 1 hour away it a taxi costs 95 euros- food is terrible we had to eat outside the hotel even though we had all inclusive, also we found a bug in the salad and the plates also aren’t clean- the rooms aren’t clean at all and the cleaner only came once in 5 nights and we had to complain several times to the reception - to reach your room it’s like a hike lots of slops and stairs - bed aren’t comfortable at all my back hurts after this trip- no AC in the room that we couldn’t sleep all night as it was too hot end of September

This is a great hotel. The staff are excellent and the location is fantastic particularly for the twice weekly market that is literally outside the front door. comprehensive range of food and drinks on all inclusive but they did seem to lose their way one Sunday, when things were a bit sparce. If you arent too good on your feet then book ground floor, pool view and you wont go far wrong(there are no lifts save for the one at reception). Yes, some people complain about lack of air con but the rooms are huge with bedroom arranged at the back out of the sun. The grounds are beautiful and there is no fighting for sun loungers. The weather is the best in the Island as its right in the south and the beach is stunning.

We stayed at this hotel during April and were quite happy with it. It is a good three star hotel, do not expect 4 or 5 star treatment!

Not luxury, but fine. Food pretty similar each day but ok if youre not too fussy. German bias in food selection.Issue was lack of pool side seating, so stressful rush each morning to get sunbed.Beach fabulous although featureless. its usually windy. No outdoor seating at night! bizarre, were used to Turkey where you enjoy al-fresco experience... here you are stuck in basement bar at night with questionable entertainment. pool bar was not open at night. April half term.We are two adults plus two grown up daughters.

Great position, spotless with lovely gardens. Close to beach, shops and old town. The apartments are spacious and clean with a fridge (bonus).Good public areas and again spotless.Staff helpful.Downside is the food. I enjoy the simple all inclusive type food but this was not brilliant (not the worst either). Sometimes the dishes were fantastic but many times let down by really poor offerings which tainted the overall impression. It caters to German tastes - loads of salt and overdose of sugar!!!Would recommend getting a hire care and the resort is quite far from the airport although parking close to the hotel is a problem - you may need to drive around the block a few times to find a space.

Great location and good price but theres a catch staff are not very helpful, and cleanness is a missing I found some unwelcome guests (cockroaches) so I was not impressed at all.Overall good for the value !

The location of the hotel is very good. Close to the city center with all the shops, bars, restaurants and beach as well. There were plenty of parking places even if you come late in the night. Free of charge. The check in was quick and efficient. We found our apartment easily. The room was clean and very basic. It reminded me to the late 90s. The bathroom was the nicest part of the apartment. The bedroom was fine as well. In the living room there were another 2 single beds which is suitable for a family with 2 children. Basic tv with around 20 channels. A small balcony with a table and 4 plastic chairs. I cannot comment the food, since we went self-catering. The kitchen was fine as well, but no microwave. Otherwise there were enough cutlery. The only downside I noticed is the internet - 2 euros for 15 mins, 5 euros for 1 hour. I understand they are making money on this, but 5 euros per hour are a bit too much for year 2015 in a european country. Overall the hotel was good. I would definetly come back.

Marks out of 10 for the following:Friendliness of Check-in staff: 0 (Was told go to pub next door to get Wifi so that I could mail them confirmation of reservation despite showing it to them).Help & Cooperation: 0 : They refused to allow me to speak to a manager & refused me an upgrade despite indicating willingness to pay.I am in my sixtys and have travelled to many countries in Europe as well as USA & South America & I can say without fear of contradiction that it was the worst customer experience I have ever had.Your Hotel does not deserve business. Excellent hotel, stayed here 3x now.Very comfy and clean. Situated only across the road from an amazing beach.Hairdryer and shower gel in the bathroom, lots of towels and clean bedding. Comfy beds and sofas, balcony with patio doors and all the windows open wide.Very cheap price for what you get! Beats many other places. You do not need to buy air con here as you can sleep with the bedroom window open.Staff very friendly and helpful (except Mauritz who was a tad rude). They let us book a shower room after we checked out so we could go and spend the day on the beach and come back and shower before flying off which was good of them.Didnt eat there as we had self catering so couldnt comment on food.Only downside is, you can hear doors slamming and other people in neighbouring apartments, they need to sort the door slam problem out, and also if you are not on the top floor you will hear people walking about whilst you are in bed. So remember to pack earplugs if you are sensitive to noise like myself. Couldnt hear any other guests talking or anything though. This place is for older guests (35+) as Jandia is an older resort and would not suit young party animals which is a god send!Maids and gardeners were really friendly too which was nice.Make sure you turn right out of the hotel road and walk past the beach (should be on your left) walk right to the end and you will find amazing seafood restaurants on the sea front!

In most respects this is a well run and maintained self catering hotel. Main negative is the reception staff. Not too friendly and rather off hand. Maybe its just a reaction to the type of clients they get but I expect more. Cleaning and maintenance staff are very friendly and efficient. Some of the rooms have a very unappealing aspect, we moved to a nicer one costing more. If WiFi matters to you look elsewhere, eyewateringly expensive to use in the lobby and not available in room.
