Excellent customer service

The property was in a great, walkable area close to restaurants and shopping, and it also had an amazing view. The food was great also. The only issue we had was one of the several days we stayed there, housekeeping dumped our new set of clean towels on the bed instead of hanging them in the bathroom like they had every other day. We know this was done intentionally because they had left a card about reusing towels on top of the pile. Other than that annoyance (since we were on vacation) it was a wonderful place to stay!

We were supposed to have a Bayview Room! We did not !!!! Our view was a rooftop and a building along with a painter every morning Working and on top of that he had a ladder ! We were on 2nd floor ( room 209). We paid 520 . Per nite for this !!!!!

Love staying here but this time the room was very hot! It seemed they could not keep the room cool.

I really enjoyed the history and character of the property. Breakfast on the front porch was a delight, and the vegetable skillet was delicious. One thing that could have been better was the height of the shower head - it was a little low (I’m 5’8”). Maybe some have been replaced already but my room hadn’t been done yet? All in all, a very nice property and enjoyable stay.

Squeaky floors … front desk people need help. Hotel needs updating. Beds are terrible.

Gorgeous hotel in an ideal location

This hotel went above and beyond to make My birthday stay super special. They were very accommodating. They sent thoughtful gifts to the room to help celebrate my birthday. I was completely blown away and so happy with my stay. I don’t want to leave. But will definitely be coming back.

Always great staying at the Perry hotel. Over the last 10- -15 years it seems to us that it must be even more popular, because the cost to stay is getting really expensive. We wil continue to come , but maybe during the off season.

I liked the food sitting on the front porch. Our room was too small and smelled like Grandmas attic.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff at reception area. Beautiful, well maintained historic building. Only thing that marred our visit was some jewelry was missing from an outside pocket of my luggage.

This is my third time staying here. We love the downtown location and love to read on the porch or by the fire. We love the breakfasts. We like that you can walk to everything downtown.

Excellent downtown location!! Very clean and well appointed rooms. Has a Victorian bed and breakfast feel, warm and cozy. Restaurant was great, recommend the spinach artichoke dip!! Highly recommend!!!

Outstanding staff and rooms. Very clean, historic architecture and nicely decorated. Great bar and breakfast. Convenient parking, and surrounding area is fun to explore.

Everything I expected and more!

The high quality of the service, the absolutely stunning view and a truly talented chef made our weekend getaway PERFECT! We will definitely be including The Perry in our future travel plans.

This hotel is amazing! Highly recommend this hotel for the view - location - and the friendly staff. It is clean, has a great breakfast, and close to everything (walking distance)

Road Trip around Michigan, stayed in 3-4 different hotels and by far this was the best hotel experience. Boutique style hotel, well taken care, close to everything, beautiful facilities. But the best was the staff. I forgot a recently purchased pair of paints, called the hotel and they promptly fedex it to me in a matter of days. My dad bought 2 lovely t-shirts on their gift shop. He loved it so much, but took the wrong size home. He was so disappointed, I called the hotel and asked if they could help me surprising my dad. Ric (I am note sure If I am spelling his name right), was so helpful and went above and beyond, helped me find the exactly t-shirts for my dad, and will fedex to me. My dad will be so happy. I plan to surprise him for Chrstimas. I wish other hotel staff were like this one. So personal and caring. One of the best experiences I had. If you every go to Petoskey, you will have no regrets staying there. Remember to have breakfast at the restaurant.

Has a charming feel to it.

It is an historic hotel so expect to hear your neighbors. The room has no individual temperature controls so the first night we spent sweating. We mentioned this to the front desk and they did turn the heat down. We were in room 134 and there is no wifi available. We pointed this out to the front desk several times and each time they politely said they would have someone look into it but we never did get any wifi during our stay. The breakfast is wonderful with terrific service. Great location in the downtown with the ability to walk to stores and restaurants from the hotel.
