If you keep in mind the price, it’s not a bad hotel, room is small but big enough, TV again small but big enough, I like the pod style showers, some don’t. W/C was very small but not a place you spend too long. Very thin walls, solo chap next to me was erm… active. I like a firm mattress but this was prison standard, although still an alternative to spending a week at the mother in laws. Fairly clean, short walk to work, close to a few places to eat. Can’t fault it for the price, but it wouldn’t be my first option to stay again. Solid 3.5 / 5

No service. The emplyees didnt Even look at us or say hi egen we came or went!
The beds are hard as a rock, and with horrible pillows!
Breakfast was just ham, cheeseburger and a few different kind of bread, and some sereal.
The room was very noisy, you could hear everything upstairs, and others playing music.
Very small toilet and strenge showerroom

Disappointed with the room, obviously a wheelchair friendly one which appeared cold and unwelcoming. TV didn't work

I assume I selected this hotel because by the time we booked it was both the cheapest and available. If budget is your priority then it'll do but I wouldn't select it again as I felt it was too basic. My wife certainly wasn't impressed. The staff were nice but the room feels very bare bones. The compact toilet cubicle, which has a 1 inch gap at the bottom of the door, ensures that every bathroom experience is a shared experience. It also needs an extractor. Also, having the sink in the room, because there is no actual bathroom makes it feel a little bit like being on D-Wing (I assume). The shower cubicle seems fine but overall I think this is for someone who absolutely wants the cheapest they can find. I'd bring your own pillow because the one provided is quite insubstantial.

Ok as bed for night. Staff seem disinterested, not that welcoming

Awful I'd never stay here again rude staff unclean, unmade room, just unacceptable

Very much a budget hotel, expensive for what little you got

The rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful. It was amazing that there was a pool table on the lobby. We had an entertaining night there.

Nice comfy room, car park was easy to locate as well as payment, didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that, later check out than normal hotels too!

Comfortable stay, No Coffee making facilities, I guess thats where there saving money, £2-95 coffee pod in reception
Woken up at 4-30ish by a noisy delivery truck

Mattress was too hard and the pillows are flat. You have to pay for a kettle, tea bags, etc. Breakfast options were limited, I would suggest more cereal options.
The staff were friendly and efficient, they helped with giving us extra pillows and explaining things.

Always enjoy this hotel its perfect for our annual visit to the horror convention as its only 10 minutes away on the tram. The only negative is no access to coffee in the room and the machine downstairs charges almost 2 quid for a small cup. But everything else is excellent.

The clue is in the name. Everything about this place is budget. Including even the thickness of the solitary slip of a pillow.
Friendly staff, clean and well located. But brace yourself for the most basic of budget experiences.

Accomodation is exactly what is expected for the price, basic, but that was really all I needed as I was working

no one will clean my room. They will only tidy up my bed but they will never change ur fitted sheets unless ordered by the guest in advance. Never refill my body wash containers in the bathroom. I guess only the breakfast is taste good but never refill those fruits when no more bananas at all.

When we arrived there was no where to park , staff where slow and there was nothing to say that we had to pay for parking

We didn"t expect luxury as it is budget. Most needs were sorted. Not gone without drinks in the room before but, there was the option of various vending machines. The smallest loo in the world!😂 But a shower that could fit two people. Staff were lovely. Room was ample and very clean.

Very poor check-in experience as the receptionist is extremely unfriendly. When we checked in on Sunday afternoon (15 Sep 2024), we asked to check if there was a room facing the Salford Quay direction, but the receptionist didn't even try and said no. I said I know there might not be but asked if he could just try. He refused to try at all and even argued with me. When I asked when the manager would be there, he said he didn't know and when I asked for his name, he refused to tell as well. To be honest, I've been travelling a lot in different countries but haven't met this kind of receptionist at all. Very poor service and I sincerely hope the manager can look into the issue, thanks.

Very basic - no tea or coffee facilities even and room was poorly designed. I stay at a basic place called the Hub near Westminster which has less sq ft but much better design. Glad we were only there one night. Great location for Man Utd ground (we went to a gig via tram other side of city)

No problems parking £12 not£10 sa stated.

Great location. Budget name, so expectations should meet that level of standard. Only let down was the breakfast, with only cornflakes as a gluten free option, but there were also freshly boiled eggs available. Overall a great option for a low cost stay in the area.

Master bed light could not be switched off and had to be covered up. Remedial action achieved totally opposite results as it could not be turned on.

Although compared to other hotel prices they are very very reasonable but totally no facilities which they mentioned on website I slept whole night without A/C as it was broken

Almost every review I've read for this hotel was pretty poor but for what it cost me I was more than happy with this hotel. I paid £98 for 2 people - 2 nights in a twin room with breakfast. Bargain!
I chose this hotel because it's close to 2 tram stops and I wanted to spend a few days around Salford Quays. I found there was lots to do with the kids The Lowry, IWM, Media City, river cruises and Ordsall Hall, all within easy reach.
The room was small and basic but clean. I found the beds firm but for me they were comfortable.
Reception were very helpful if you needed anything and all the staff were pleasant.
If you pay for breakfast, it is continental - meat, cheese, fruit, boiled eggs, bread, cereals, fruit, pastries and jams etc and was served until 10am. Everything I had was nice.
There are no tea and coffee facilities in the room but you can pay extra to have them. It was £3.50 but the deposit was £25.
You can buy hot food (pizza/nuggets etc) from reception but we didn't try it. There's a vending machine in reception and fridges with drinks to purchase.
If you want to charge your phone in bed or use your hairdryer/straighteners in front of the mirror then take an extension lead as there are only 2 plugs which aren't really conviniently placed.
All in all, I had a very pleasant stay. Just remember if you book that it's a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. I do prefer ibis styles but sometimes you just have to budget.

Just what I needed for 5x days at the cricket at Old Trafford......which was a 15 minute drive away......with a nice pub opposite and other food options close at hand too.
Tram station right by hotel, making travel in/out of Manchester (and to airport) easy and quick.
Staff very helpful.....thanks.

Cheap and cheerful accommodation after attending a gig at the O2 Victoria Warehouse. Easy walk over to Salford Quays for food and drink. Only issue was finding the parking as sat nav takes you to a dead end but easy enough to double back and get where you need to be. Will definitely use this hotel again, great value for money.

The rooms are very small , tiny toilet. The mattress is hard . When we arrived the bed wasn’t even made only bed sheet left on the bed . Breakfast was not bad but could add beans as everything was dry food . Staff were ok . Had to pay packing with extra even though I was told the fee was £10 via email
