Hurricane update on 11-15-2024- Power is restored, most elevators are working (able to access any unit with the working elevators), wifi is good, cafe is re-opening on Nov. 14th 2024, and the main pool has reopened without being heated with possible temporary pool closure, which may happen as they work on getting it back to heated. The tiki bar deck are not operational at this time (awaiting word from the Condo Association on when they will be ready for use). The beaches are all opened on Treasure Island with the exception of Sunset Beach which is at the South end of Treasure Island (not by this Condo).
PENTHOUSE UNIT! Gulf and Beach View, Top Floor, 2/2 on Beach, sleeps 6! Sunset Vistas is a beautiful beachfront resort in Treasure Island that features many guest amenities to make your vacation a very special time! This 2-bedroom 2 bath Beachfront condo sleeps 6 and has a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico and beach from inside the unit. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils for cooking and preparing your food. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. The master bedroom has a King Bed with bathroom ensuite, the guest room has a Queen Bed, with the second bath off of the living area. The living room has a Queen-sized pull-out sofa bed for the 5th and 6th guests. (surcharge for 5th and 6th guest). Sunset Vistas amenities include an adult pool and a kiddie pool, 2 hot tubs, an onsite Cafe, a pool/beach Bar, an onsite gym, an office workstation, and a ping pong table, but, of course, the best part is that you will be staying directly on Treasure Island Beach, named one of the nicest Beaches in the World! The main pool is geo-thermal heated. Johns Pass Village & Boardwalk is a mile away, and Splash Harbour Water Park is a 9-mile drive.
ONLY ONE assigned parking space, parking is covered and under the building. Sorry, we cannot help with parking for any additional vehicles.

Under the ADA and Florida law, owners of public accommodations are not required to allow emotional support animals, only documented service animals. Rates on OPEN DATES are often subject to change. Please understand what can come with the potential aftermath of a Hurricane. There may be closures of the following, that could possibly last weeks, if not longer: restaurants/shops, roads, certain amenities offered, beaches, Wi-Fi/cable, pools, elevators, etc. Our owners will stand behind their no refund cancellation policy for any of these inconveniences, and will not be making anyone the exception. Again, this is why we HIGHLY recommend purchasing good travel insurance. There should be a few policies offered towards the end of your booking process. One of which should allow you to cancel for any reason (CFAR). However, it is important for you, to do your proper research in confirming what exclusions, if any, exist for that particular policy. If none are offered to you, you can always contact another 3rd party travel insurance company. Date changes, rain checks, or compensation will also not be options under these circumstances! Hurricane season, again, falls between June 1st and November 30th.
Garage clearance is 6ft 8inches. If you have a vehicle that is taller than that 6'8'', you will need to try to find an open "guest parking" spot which are super limited. Sorry to say that we cannot help you with parking if your vehicle cannot clear 6'8''.

We were absolutely thrilled with the location on one of the most beautiful beaches. The unit was clean and well supplied with everything we needed. The location was very convenient with many nearby restaurants, grocery shopping just down the street, as well as a convenience store just across the street. We certainly plan to return!

We spent one night there and everything went well. Wonderful view of the sea from our balcony and short walk to the beach. The only thing negative was The checkout time at 10h which leaves us not enough time to go to breakfast, come back and pack.

I booked this property for a girls/moms weekend away and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The apartment was clean, cold, comfortable and well stocked for all of our needs. While we didn’t cook in the apartment we had everything we needed in the kitchen- and the refrigerator with ice maker and filtered water was definitely a plus for us! the beds were extremely comfortable- but I do want to note that you could hear everyone walking by or waiting for the elevator in the room nearest the front door. Luckily we were four overtired and exhausted moms so we slept through the noise! The master bedroom was silent at night and the bed was very comfortable. As noted- it was a short walk right on to the beach and the hosts provided extra towels, beach chairs, and a small foam cooler for our use. It was also really nice to have a washer and dryer available! We didn’t use the washer but we threw our towels and coverups in the dryer to get them dry quickly before the next outing. The view from the balcony was nice as well, it was great to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee while overlooking the waves in the morning. The location is fantastic as it is within a one mile walking distance to John’s Pass and several restaurants and little shops- saving you the fee to park! There’s also an awesome little ice cream shop right at the base of the complex that was so quick and convenient to visit. I would absolutely recommend and will most likely book again with my family in the future!

We enjoyed our place. We enjoyed having the beach chairs and umbrellas so we had less to have to pack. The place was clean and spacious for the five of us.

Location and view was wonderful, the walk to the beach was short and easy! The pool on site was huge & comfortable! On rainy days, the boardwalk nearby is a great spot. Waffle House is walking distance too (big hit for my kids haha). We over crowded ourselves so I would advise one small family in the condo. Although they have 3 bed options it wa a bit tight for teenagers. Otherwise wonderful views and beautiful condo! Kitchen & dining room is spacious. They provided beach chairs and towels too! Cant wait to go back.

The place itself is as described, is clean, and the property itself is great (pool, right on the beach, great views, etc). They have beach chairs and toys, and plenty of kitchen items to make your stay enjoyable.
A few things would really make a difference in here though that I feel like would be nice to know for guests looking to book -
It's right off the elevator/trash chute, so the 2nd bedroom has a lot of foot traffic/noise. This didn't make a difference to my kids, but we could hear trash being dropped in the master. If you're a light sleeper you may not like this.
There's little to no counter space or place to put your things in the bathrooms. A shelf and hooks for your wet towels would go a long way.
The linens are just a mismatch of very cheap towels, pillows, blankets, sheets, etc. Like someone cleaned out an old cupboard. Even a cheap hotel has better quality towels. Small details like this matter in my opinion when you're paying $500/night.
I would still stay here again because of all the other amenities.

Our stay was perfect. Beautiful condo, wonderful beach view and beach. The Cafe food and service excellent. We totally enjoyed our stay. Beach chairs at our disposal were comfortable and much appreciated. Although didn't need since brought own, coffee and needs for that morning jolt was provided and nice. The whole unit very clean including utensils, pans and glassware. Convenient parking spot to elevator. A true 5 ⭐ accomodation. Highly recommend and will book in future.

Is on the 6th/top floor with a great view of the beach. Nice hot tub and easy access to the beach. The second bedroom, not the master, is right on the hallway opposite the elevator. Can hear the elevator and passengers and on a Saturday night was busy until well after midnight. Use a sound app to block it out. Had a problem with the cable not working. The property manager was quick to respond.

Great condo on the beach. The rooms and living area were smaller than we expected, but the kitchen is large enough for a dance party. It was perfect for 4 friends and a getaway weekend. **Bring your own laundry pods if you plan to do laundry. Only 1 was provided.** See Ally at the bar on the first floor near the beach access and pools — she was the highlight!

The condo was perfect for our needs . Two adult couples with two bedrooms and two baths , nice layout . Everything was great , cleanliness, washer and dryer . Oh and beach chairs and towels . Also really enjoyed the onsite cafe , had breakfast there every morning. Food was very good and reasonably priced . Pool was great ,hot tubs were great and the gulf of mexico right outside your door . Couldn't have asked for a better stay .

The condo was in a perfect location in Treasure Island. There are many options for dining nearby and in St Pete Beach.
The condo was nicely furnished, exceptionally clean and well stocked. Instructions were very clear regarding check in and check out.

Perfect place for a family of six. They had an extra air mattress so all of us sleep comfortably. There’s a Publix nearby by to get miscellaneous things to cook. Check in was easy and the hosted let me check in early because I was driving from Virginia for 16 hours. Everything was lovely thank you.

We traveled for a long weekend and the unit was just as described. I really appreciated the stocked items throughout that made our stay much more relaxing. My son likes to cook and he was pleased with the amount of spices available. The unit had plenty of bath & beach towels, bed linens and the chairs for the beach was a bonus. I also appreciated the amount of starter supplies that made shopping minimal. The unit provided paper towels, plenty of toiletries as well as detergent for both dishwasher and laundry. The unit also had coffee both for a regular coffee pot as well as pods. I did forget ice however it was available for purchase in their dining area which was a nice plus. The unit also had a few odds and ends that we appreciated such as aloe and other beach toys. The u it also provided a pack and play and small high chair if you have little ones. We really enjoyed the unit and would recommend it to anyone.

Our vacation experience at your lovely condo was exactly as we hoped, and exactly as described on your vrbo site. The extra bonuses of the amazing view from the balcony, the pool and hot tub area, and how beautiful this particular beach is, plus the cafe and the beach bar were so handy and fun! The cafe had great food at decent prices with friendly staff, which was honestly surprising and so nice. The condo had everything we needed and was very clean. Bed was super comfortable. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Owners were great to work with. They provided lots of info prior to check in and were quick to answer once we arrived. On-site restaurant had excellent food / service. Covered reserved parking was an added bonus.

We a couple of issues with our stay. I messaged Rick prior to booking to ask about the garage height since we would be using a cargo box on top of the car. The property company told him the entrance was 7 feet tall, which would have fit our car fine. When we arrived, the actual height was 6’ 8”. We exceeded height restrictions and had to park outside, away from the rental unit. While not a huge issue, it certainly would have been nice to park our new car inside during the frequent storms during our stay.
One of the primary reasons for choosing this location was because of all the great reviews on cleanliness. After getting settled, we quickly realized how disgusting things were. The shower had mold all around the tub and shower curtain, and the shower head looked like it had never been cleaned. The towels and bedding had stains and hair on them. The toilets were not cleaned and there was still hair on them. There was even food still baked on the inside of the microwave. We found used tissues under the bed and behind the bedroom door. We didn’t want to deal with all this on vacation, so we just went to Target and bought our own items to make it through the week.
Rick’s mailing address was in Tennessee, so I thought maybe he didn’t actually see the place very often. I sent him an email and included photos of all the issues. He thanked me for the images and forwarded them to his wife and probably the lady in charge of cleaning it. There was no apology or any real acknowledgement of how this disgusting mess would impact our family vacation. I did ask to not have our vacation interrupted by cleaning people coming in and doing it while we were there. We felt this should have been done prior to our arrival. Even so, at a minimum I would have thought that an apology would be appropriate considering we felt it was bad enough to go purchase new towels and bedding. This definitely wasn’t what we had planned for a beach vacation. They even had the nerve to ask for return business during our checkout.
Overall, the location and actual unit were great. It was just extremely dirty and unfit for anyone with little kids that like to touch everything. The customer service was also subpar. I know if I was on the other side, I would be embarrassed and bending over backwards to make it right. We never asked for a refund, or reimbursement of the expenses to purchase new items for the week. A simple sincere apology would have gone a long way.
