Een oase van rust dicht bij Avignon

Prachtige villa met zwembad. Een oase van rust op fietsafstand van Avignon. Goed ontbijt en zeer sympathieke en gastvrije eigenaar. Sprak Nederlands wat ook weer een keer fijn was tijdens onze via rhona fietsvakantie. De mooiste accommodatie van onze vakantie

Luke and Kathy are excellent hosts. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Breakfast was delicious! Also, we paid for the hosts to prepare dinner two nights. The service, quality of the food, ambiance and presentation were excellent! There is ample parking and it is a lovely quiet location.

A beautiful location with a great pool

The pool was wonderful and the owner was really friendly and helpful with suggestions of restaurants and vineyards to visit. It’s a beautiful location.

The room wasn’t very clean, especially the bathroom.

Welcome to Avignon

We loved the pool. We also loved that a fridge with cold drinks was provided near the pool. Breakfast in the gazebo was delightful. Luc was a wonderful host.

Wonderful B&B with great hosts in quiet country setting

Quiet area with a pool and outdoor cafe style breakfast. We arranged for dinner after a long travel day and a gourmet meal was served. Breakfasts were great and included pastries, home made yogurt, made to order eggs and coffee and espresso. Luc provided a dinner recommendation in town that was one of our best meals in France. Overall excellent host and very accommodating to our family of five.

Superb hosts and lovely property

Great location out of the main town area, so with a country feel yet close enough to get to Avignon and surrounds easily. Lovely large grounds and relaxing atmosphere. Luc & Kathy were superb hosts, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and we also had dinner one night which was excellent.

The pool needs some attention as water was quite cloudy, so the water PH level etc needs to be balanced properly. Would have liked a swim, but didn’t look that inviting.

Nice B&B near Avignon

We used this fine B&B as a starting point for car trips in the area. Easy access to highways. The inn had a great bathroom and comfy bed. Large breakfast included. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Exceptional

We had an exceptional experience - the property was beautiful, the hosts were incredibly accommodating and the room was very spacious with a huge bathroom (we had the room at the front of the property on the right). The pool was clean, well maintained with a fridge full of drinks for a very good price! We had a late check in and the host was very helpful with ensuring we got in safely. Breakfast was also delicious! Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone visiting the area

A quiet haven close to the centre of Avignon

We could not have chosen better. The Mas de l'Île is only a short distance from Avignon but it feels like it is in rural France. The hosts really made us really welcome and gave us lots of advice about where to go during our stay. It was specially hot during our stay so the pool was most welcome. Cold drinks are always available from the fridge by the pool on an honesty basis for 1€ each, pay on departure. Breakfast is served in the outside gazebo/tunnel to your order, it is really good and sets you up for the day. The hosts and the other guests were so friendly that we were sad to leave in the end. We highly recommend the Mas de l'Île

Not a criticism of the accommodation but trips into Avignon have to be planned because they involve a trip across the Rhône on a free ferry. You need to be mindful of the time of the last ferry and this precludes dining in Avignon unless you take a car or call a taxi. Happily there is a very nice restaurant on the island by the ferry

Perfect hosts, amazing pool and rooms; ideal for a trip to Avignon!

Amazing hosts, breakfast, facilities and location. The pool is sunny all day and there’s a fridge and bar area for your food and drink. Breakfast was delicious, we had fresh bread, pastries, cheese, yoghurt, jam, fruit and fresh orange juice. They even have bikes that you can borrow to visit Avignon and Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. We were using public transport but we’re able to get a taxi to and from the place with luggage, then a nice stroll in to Avignon in the evening

Great place to relax, in a rural setting, but minutes to Avignon centre, and Provence locations.

Hosts, Luc and Kathy, were friendly and always welcoming. Pool, patio, and yard were a very nice bonus. Breakfast was very well done.

More light in bedroom, and a double bed would have been perfect.

Exceptional

The hosts was kind and helpful, the area was surrounded by nature, a perfect place to be away from the city for a while. Host also provided with bikes, 10-15 mins to Avignon city, also a good way to enjoy the Rhone when the weather is nice.

Cute villa but service was lacking

The location is only accessible by car, but there was ample space for parking. Our room was large and the bathroom was nearly the same size.

It was unseasonably cold when we arrived and it took a full day for our room to heat to a comfortable temperature and only one extra blanket was provided. The host greeted us when we came in but was hard to find when needed. The power went out one evening and we couldn't leave the compound because the gate was electric. It was 3C (34F) with no power or heat, couldn't leave, and the host did not come to check on us once during the outtage. Breakfast was sparse - bread basket with jam, coffee or tea, and a piece of fruit.

Excellent stay

We liked the comfortable bed, the bedroom itself, plus the quiet surroundings. Breakfast was great. Walking distance from Avignon, if you prefer not to drive to the town. We did not use the swimming pool though. Hosts have drinks available in a fridge on the shed next to the swimming pool. Perfect location for summer holidays! We definitely enjoyed the hospitality of the hosts. Free, spacious parking.

Comfortable Stay in Avignon

Conveniently located on the Rhone river inside Avignon. Vincent and Kat were wonderful hosts in this comfortable four room hotel with a refreshing swimming pool. Minutes from several French castles And a half hour from Chateau Neuf De Pape. Located less than a mile from a great French restaurant on the Rhone with an outstanding view of an ancient aqueduct and the castles of Avignon.

Lovely stay

Very peaceful place next to busy Avignon. Very nice room, very good swimming pool in nice garden. Terrace at the room. Tasteful breakfast with fresh fruit. Valérie is a very warm and charming lady of the house.
