We loved this house!
We used it as our home base for a week of hiking and it was perfect.
The house was warm and homey, the kitchen was beautiful and had everything we needed to cook all our meals. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable and the bathrooms were large and nicely updated. We really enjoyed the back deck overlooking the Mill river complete with a gas fire table. This is a great place to stay!

Little late start getting in but all was fine when we did.
We were six sisters on our annual yearly week together and we were celebrating 40 years of doing this. This was the home town we grew up in so it's was lots of fun walking and driving around on the back roads and remenniceing about our childhood. Would recommend the house to any family.
I would suggest to whom is responsible for hiring the help for mowing the grass they get a new company. They came while we were there and didn't stay longer than 10 minutes and the lawn looked the same when they left. Your wasting your money.

Terrible experience. Never received any check-in details until 10 PM the night of my stay, by then of course I had found another place for my children and I to stay. Then they refused to cancel or refund me for the entire week, stating that it was still an active booking. Absolutely fraudulent.

We've stayed here before and love this house. Very charming but out of Rutland!

We enjoyed our time and it was very close to Okemo Mountain

The home was spacious, clean, updated and thoughtfully curated. Martha Stewart would be pleased. The stream in the backyard was an added bonus my kids loved. Close to Okemo. Would recommend.

We had the best time! The house is beautiful and so well appointed. It had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. It was the perfect setting for our ski weekend. We already booked another stay!

Perfect little farm house for the entire family! We had an amazing time both at the home and exploring the river edge! Wonderful space for the dogs as well! We would most certainly stay again!

Wonderful place for family from Vermont, New York and Maryland to gather for Thanksgiving.

The home is lovely, and well appointed with large dining table; comfy couch and electric fireplace. The king bedroom is large and the bed is very comfortable. There are throws everywhere to help keep you warm. It is a good thing because when we arrived it was a pretty cold day and only 50 degrees inside the house! The thermostat did not function. We called and were offered a move or use space heaters and receive a discount on the rental. We chose to stay and by morning it was toasty. The home is very clean , the only "clean" issues were very minor, sticky spots on island and countertop. The bedside table had many cup rings but were easily cleaned with a baby wipe. As I said, minor. the rest of the home was very clean, not a speck of dust. The tub was amazing. The kitchen has a couple of challenges, Please invest in a new set of non stick frypans and the nylon utensils to keep them from scratching and losing the coating; I needed a Hand mixer, but was unable to find one. That is the very good and little negative to help future renters. This all being said, We would go back. It is truly a home away from home.

Exactly what I expected after seeing the photos! Cute house- everything we needed in it. Enjoyed the outdoors space with the propane fire pit. Crazy affordable. Would come back again

Lovely renovated farm house with all the conveniences of home. Great central location, close to hiking trails. Appreciated the well stocked kitchen with spices and utensils. Hope to stay there again on future trips.

It was a beautiful getaway and our 2nd booking for this house. The only real issues were the lack of propane that I alerted the management company to, and the full trash barrels/recycling bins. I was told that someone local would help, but no one did.
The house is beautiful, but we spent almost the whole time outside on the deck grilling or playing cornhole.
We will probably be back again in the spring as it is perfect for us.

This house was clean and well equipped. It is close to convenience shopping and close to a nearby bar/restaurant, where we had a nice Sunday Brunch. It is 15 minutes from Rutland which affords access to major supermarkets, state liquor stores and restaurants. Six adults spent two nights very comfortably here. Unfortunately, Vacasa - the host - was unresponsive, unprofessional and inept. Due to extensive flooding in Vermont in the week prior to our visit, I contacted the host to inquire about the condition of the property and the surrounding area roads. The agent that I spoke with was clueless but promised a return call from the local property manager. That call never came and neither did a follow-up call from Vacasa. I was forced to impose on a local Vermont family member, who drove 40 minutes to check the condition of this house prior to our arrival. This experience with Vacasa was not helped by the communication problems that arose when speaking with an agent for whom English was obviously a second language.

Beautiful rustic home. Comfortable and relaxing environment. Very clean, beds are great. Surprisingly spacious rooms throughout the home. We really liked the creek behind the house. There were heavy thunderstorms in the area during our stay. Didn’t affect us except for the creek becoming high and flowing rapidly. We also enjoyed relaxing on the deck. Perfect stay for our family of 5.

While the weather did not cooperate this house provided a location where indoor activities were plenty. Travelled to local historic sites for indoor tours, cable TV, lots of games and wifi available. Lovely home with modern kitchen and bathrooms.

Really nice house that we will definitely be booking again. It was approximately 15 minutes to Okemo and around a 30 minute drive to Killington, so the location is great. The house is updated and has just about everything you could need. We were seven people with two dogs and had plenty of space. There is a little creek in the back where I was able to take my dogs for a walk without worrying about being on the road. There was also pots and pans available for cooking including some spices. I recommend using the keurig over the coffee pot unless you hold the carafe up or the coffee drains only when it overflows. It was a great experience all around, and we even had game night playing scattegories and cards, showing the youngsters what it’s like to have fun. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to going again.

Adorable from the outside, nice on the inside. The kitchen was one of the better equiped we've rented (spices, oils, plastic wrap, pots, pans, etc. - though we never found the kitchen scissors, even though we inquired). We had a few issues that the owner sent a fix-it person to fix, pretty promptly. We wish it had a real firepalce. The heat woked well. The view of the stream in the backyard was beautiful. Not good a very good place for walking the dog, but we managed. The location was convient to skiing, hiking, and touring VT.

A very nice property, well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

The house was nicely stocked and had great kitchen supplies! It was super cozy and clean. The upstair rooms were a little cold due to the old vents so had to crank the heat downstairs. We were not able to use the fire pit outside because it was full of snow. The TV was a little complicated to use. Wish there were instructions on how to use it. Also the cell service in the area is not great. However, we did have a good time in this house! 11 min to Okemo Mt! Would stay here again!
