Basically the house was good for our visit. In the description of the house it said there was air conditioning. However, there was not air conditioning. There was an evaporative cooler. This system is much different than air conditioning because it push the air past pads of water and this provides the cooling. It actually did keep the main part of the house comfortable. On the lower level of the house where two of the bedroom were located, no cool air came through the vents. Instead we tried to open windows to let cool outside air in. However, in one bedroom the screen did not fit properly and in the second bedroom the screen had a large hole. Since we did see a scorpion in the house we were not willing to leave windows open. This made for very uncomfortable sleeping for our guests. Also on the upper level there was little cooling. Our grandchildren who were planning to sleep up there found other places to sleep. This was very disappointing since one requirement that I had when choosing a house was that it had air conditioning.
Also the description said the house had 3 full bathrooms. To me this means that there is a tub and shower in each bathroom. Two bathrooms had showers only and they were tiny. The third bathroom did have a tub and shower. However, we could not get the shower to work. Water would come out the spigot but we could not get that to switch to the shower. Many attempts were made.
I also have other complaints but this space did not allow me room to enter.

The house is great with lots of different areas that people can spread out in to hang out. The host had good communication and let us check in early and out late.
The only things to be aware of are the steep driveway and lots of stairs but I think the location and layout are worth it.

My family and I were lucky enough to have found this house!! Though it does has a lot of stairs, it’s in a beautiful area and you will see plenty of wildlife, woke up to 5 elk just relaxing by the porch, next morning a family of wild boars came to visit.. the house has everything you can possibly need, very clean, the owner was more than accommodating with our requests to be able to decorate the house for a 53yr bday celebration.. my family had nothing but great things to say about the house.. thank you sir for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home… if we ever visit the area again.. hopefully your home is available for us to stay..

We had a great time. We enjoyed the Hot Tub, the Fire Pit and the beautiful deck. Our host left us the makings for s’mores, which the kids loved. You can tell they are making renovations to this property. New floors and the outside was recently painted.

Nice property with plenty of space for families to spend time together. Wake up to Elk in the yard while having your coffee.

I booked this property for my family and I (and our dogs) to get away from the city and fireworks for the holiday weekend. Everything from booking to checking out was seamless and stress free. The hosts were incredible and communicated everything we would need to know. When we arrived, the house was in great shape, it was clean and organized. The host even left out a basket of hot chocolate and s’mores ingredients! The kitchen was fully stocked with seasonings and cooking utensils. The ice maker wasn’t working but they made sure to notify us well in advance so we could bring some bags of ice to keep in the freezer. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. We had a lot of wildlife walk through the property every day and we saw a lot on our daily walks as well. We will 100% stay here again in the future.

My team and I planned a little retreat to do some business planning for next year and found this cabin to fit our needs perfectly. Lots of room and a beautiful neighborhood for daytime walks. The cabin was fairly clean overall, but could definitely use a good deep cleaning (dust on many of the surfaces, hair in the sinks and towels). The property manager was very quick to respond if we needed anything during our stay and the location was excellent and close to a bunch of little shops and restaurants in Pine and Strawberry. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and would stay again in the future!!

This property had great space and layout! Plenty of room and a great kids area upstairs! The cleanliness was very lacking. Appeared to be mouse poop on the nightstand downstairs. Windows had significant cobwebs and dust. Floor corners had build up like the floors hadn’t truly been cleaned in some time. If this property was cleaned as it should be it would be a GREAT place! They had a cute little welcome package of s’mores items and candies!

We loved our stay here and there was plenty of room for 10 people. We enjoyed the outdoor area and saw plenty of wildlife. We would highly recommend this place for a family reunion.

This place was great for my family and I. Kid friendly. The owners added little touches to make it welcoming such as a basket for s’mores and hot chocolate, coffee, games, and little chocolates. They had someone deliver firewood for the fires the few nights we were there. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing.
