Our family of five recently stayed at the apartment. Kitchen was grim and we had to buy stuff like toilet paper (only had one roll for five people two night stay!). Beds appear much bigger in pictures than they really are, and the living room pullout not comfy for our 18 year old - it’d have been fine for my wife and me in the master and one kid in the second bedroom with no one on the pullout. Shower was great. Real problem with this stay was the owner never responded to any messages. Didn’t even respond when I tried to firm up arrival logistics. We’ve used vrbo a ton, and this was the first time we worried we’d been scammed. Thankfully, the lockbox system worked totally fine.

The apartment was well located with a lot of buses, with heat and hot water without any problem, not noisy, for the most part it was correct.
Some negative points : the key which works poorly, one bed not big enough for two (one of us had to sleep on the couch, much less incomfortable), a stained towel and a complicated cleaning of carpet.
In summary it was OK but really expensive for what you got.

heater didn't work
oven didn't work
table and other things weren't realy clean
to much not working or less clean things for the price

We had a bumpy start but the owner worked to fix the issues. The location was great for us.

Good location. Accommodation more basic than listing but functional.

The perfect spot for us to explore Edinburgh

Host didn’t tell us until a couple of days before our arrival that appt is on the 3rd floor. 4 x over 70 year old from overseas having to carry our suitcases up 60 stairs didn’t go down well.

This apartment suited our family well. We had worried that it was further out from the city center than was ideal, but it turned out to be convenient to many coffee shops, a natural food store, and other amenities as well as to Arthur’s Seat and the city center. It had what we needed as our base for exploring Edinburgh.

Definitely 2 star rating!
Over priced!!!!
The list of things wrong is long....
Photos are deciving
Not 2 bathrooms
Hair in the shower
Shower blocks shortly after you turn it on/ we cleared the drains it was disgusting.
No plugs for the sinks or dishcloths
No hot water in the kitchen
Oven top very slow to heat
Mouse running round
Shower leaking through to kitchen
No face cloths
Toilet door serves no purpose doesn't close or have a lock.
Once you see one dirty thing your mind starts to wonder what else is dirty, it makes for an uncomfortable stay.
When travelling from the other side of the world you just want a place to be clean & comfortable, unfortunately this was not what we experienced.
Edinburgh was lovely in itself & we're glad we came to see it.

The apartment is very well located, functional vaut the furniture doors don’t close especially the toilete and the bathroom.

You'll definitely get your exercise! 4th floor apt. Up hill both ways to the Royal Mile. Nice little apt.

Well….some negatives were: 3 flights of narrow stairs( didn’t see that on description), would be near impossible for anyone with mobility issues. The larger bed was not at all comfortable I’m afraid, and the shower leaked terribly so that little water actually came from the shower head.( very fixable I’m sure) The positives were that it was reasonably priced, easy to check in with great communication with the owner, a well working kitchen,& very clean . We enjoyed our stay in Edinburgh very much and the place was really good as a home base!

Nice quiet little street. Plenty of room for the 2 of us. Manager was very responsive when I requested help figuring out how to turn on the oven.

Great experience. Walkable and close to grocery. However, only one bathroom and one separate shower (not 2 toilets, as listed). Host was friendly and helpful and b patient. Highly recommend! Family enjoyed the stay.

Great little place to crash in after a long day touring Scotland.

The property was claiming to have two complete bathrooms, which was the main reason we picked this rental, but it only had one restroom and a separate shower. We could not use the shower because it had standing water- shower water that does not drain- as soon as we would turn on the water, it would immediately clog.
Then the heater was not working and the cold weather made it unbearable to sleep not to add that the bed mattress's were very uncomfortable.
In conclusion the property did not meet the clean, sanitary and hygienic conditions that are acceptable. (There were spiderwebs, the carpet was dirty, and dirty towels.)
For that matter, we had to leave the rental very early in the morning.

Great location, good value for money compare to other options. Could use a bit more cleaning especially in the toilet, neighbours can be quite noisy and took us a while to find the outside bins at the end of the street for the checkout request of putting bins out- would help to clarify this in the instructions!

Had an amazing weekend and the apartment was ideal and close to town.

great location, check in was smooth
