About this cabin rental

The cabin has a large main living room ( 18x20) with fireplace. There are 2 bathrooms with 2 showers. There is a full eat in kitchen with stove/oven refrigerator, microwave plus most kitchen appliances. There is a bedroom downstairs just off of the kitchen The upstairs loft / bedroom has 1 double and 5 single beds. The front porch is screened in ( 8 x20) and the lake front is just 10 steps away! There is a swimming area directly in front along with a aluminum dock with Canoe/ Kayak racks. You can fish for Bass, White Perch and pickerel right off the dock. There are mountain views of Passadumkeag mountain and beautiful sunsets to the west. A campfires and A "bean hole bean pit" are located directly in front of the lake with tables and outdoor chairs. The custom camp was built in 1893/4 by professional carpenters for the original owners. They owned to entire lake at that point in time and choose the best location for themselves . So this camp has the nicest location on Saponac Lake, for swimming, views and overall comfort. You can choose to just relax with a refreshing swim direcly in front of the camp , or wet a hook and catch some dinner or just watch the sun set into the western skies. Saponac Lake's gravel bottom will warm the shores edge to bath tub temperature in the mid morning and the afternoon waves will cool it back down for a refreshing dip. It's almost like you have a private natural spa just steps away. We hope you enjoy your stay at the camp.
