Súper

Todo genial, de verdad. No está muy cerca del Riverside pero una vez estás en Phnom Penh te das cuenta de que tampoco es tan importante, con tuktuk llegas en menos de 10 minutos! Y Nangkol Village está en una zona muy bonita y llena de vida igualmente. Las instalaciones están súper bien, de verdad. Súper recomendado!

Good stay

Everyone was super nice and helpful, the rooms was clean and tidy. Nice swimming pool and a good restaurant and laundry service.

It was clean however there were a few small cockroaches around the room. And I feel the room I got was not the same as in picture shows as luxury one.

If you want to enjoy in Phnom Penh, avoid this hostel!

Except location everything was bad!

I strongly advised solo travelers never go there as there is no privacy. There are no curtains around beds. I felt so uncomfortable that I had to use the bedsheet to make a little privacy. The staff is also very unkind. I requested them a sheet to put around the bed but they refused. The receptionist didnt accept the dollar which was giver to me by the guy at their bar. Food was also not tasty! One more thing, there are lockers but not safe as these lockers are very transparent and one can literally see what is kept.

Nice place with a pool, rooms are good, friendly staff

Location was great, staff were very friendly. Sometimes the very enthusiastic “hello!” was a bit exaggerated/ unnecessary from every single staff member every single day, but I guess it’s better than the alternative! Front desk helped us book a Taxi to Siam Reap.

The mould all over the walls in the bathrooms of the rooms needs to be addressed. Regular paint getting wet daily is not a good combo. This Can easily be fixed by installing tiles along the walls of the shower area. We requested to have a room with a bathroom that didn’t have mould, but we saw inside another room and the bathroom was the same so it wasn’t worth switching. I think access to free drinking water wouldn’t be too much to ask, as most hotels offer that in SEA.

young person's hotel fair price but too noisy for us. No kettle tea or coffee

Hotel is fine for the price. We had a noisy kitchen vent Outside our balcony, street is noisy especially the dogs. It's a cramped small pool in front of the bar. If your young it's a good hotel for the price. Not for us. Clean tidy, bed was good, no kettle tea of coffee in room.

Très décevant

Le quartier est agréable et la situation géographique pratique. Le restaurant (prix élevé) offre beaucoup de choix et est plutôt bon.

La salle de bain était dégoûtante, traces de moisi et odeur de moisi. La chambre est équipée d'une fenêtre qui donne sur le couloir, si on ouvre les rideaux, tout le monde a une vue directe sur la chambre. La luminosité est donc mediocre. Les chambres sont très mal insonorisées,, on entend les voisins et le bruit de la rue. Quand nous y étions il y avait un élevage d'une dizaine de chien qui aboyait nuit et jour. La musique "boum boum" est assez insupportable et la piscine décevante car en vue directe du restaurant. Les tablettes de chevet était toute les deux cassées et inutilisables.

Good value for money, nice hotel and great staff

The staff were lovely, especially Tola, who couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Location is perfect for getting around phnom penh. Nice pool, restaurant and bar. The bed was comfortable and we had a nice balcony. Quiet area but close enough to bassac lane and tuk tuks readily available.

The room was OK but only had a bed and a very small bedside table fitted to the wall in a place that made it hard to use the socket. A thin table or ledge along one wall would have been helpful to place belongings down. Bit of dust down the side of the bed but nothing bad.

Piscina para paliar el calor

La piscina, muy limpia, sitio perfecto para pasar las horas de más calor. Agradable bar-comedor, con precios asequibles y mesa de billar. Habitación grande y cama cómoda. La ubicación también es buena, a 15 min andando de Bassac lane (calle con muy buen ambiente) y del palacio real. Fue una estancia muy agradable!

Los billetes de bus son un poco caros. Sale mejor comprarlos por tu cuenta.

Super Hotel, goede schone kamer,zwembad,lekker eten ,veel keus en tegen betaalbare prijzen.

Vriendelijk Engels sprekent personeel,fijn zwembad niet groot, maar groot genoeg om lekker af te koelen, goede lokatie ivm centrum of omgeving. Trips te boeken of doorreis mogelijkheden te regelen. Goed eten en genoeg keuze menukaart tegen betaalbare prijzen. Super!

De slaapkamer die wij hadden was vrij klein,zonder stoel,bankje,alleen een groot prima bed. Dit viel ons wat tegen, daar tegenover hadden we een groot " balkon " met tafel en twee stoelen. Toilet, wastafel en douche was één ruimte,douchekop zowat boven toilet ,dan weet je het wel,daarbij liep het water niet snel door het afvoer putje, zodat de vloer nog lang onder water stond. Maar verder geen negatief woord over het Hotel we hadden een beetje pech denk ik.

Son emplacement

Propreté très moyenne. Les chambres ne sont pas faites tous les jours. Pas de sèche cheveux, quasiment rien en produits ( pas de coton tige, savonnette etc….) Personnel oppressant, vous pousse à la consommation.

Good value for money!

Okay location - we needed to take Tuk Tuks to get to the centre area where there are more restaurants and bars but the area did have a few nice options. Rooms were small and not very clean - but we are backpacking and used to it. The common area and restaurant downstairs was a nice vibe as was the swimming pool.

Room was a bit dirty but for the price it’s okay.

Choose wisely.

Good location and price. Good communication prior to arrival. Good Wi-Fi, comfortable pillows and bed.

After previously staying a hotel with excellent customer service and hospitality, it was a bit deflating to receive a cool to lukewarm greeting at this place. From our initial contact with the tuk tuk driver (arranged in advance with the hostel) to the greeting received upon arrival, our initial impressions were not favorable. When were shown to our room we weren’t informed that the window (that appeared to have no view) allowed any one outside the room to see in. (We discovered this by accident. Thankfully our personal space hadn’t been compromised at this point.) Shortly thereafter, it was time to shower. Not only was a minuscule amount of soap provided, but the towel had suspicious brown stains on it, and we were not sure if it was clean or dirty. Since we are early risers, we typically go to bed at what would be considered an early hour by most people. Well, they didn’t work out so well here. Between the thump of the music and people talking, sleep wasn’t possible until a much later hour (maybe 11 pm) And if that wasn’t enough, we had an uninvited guest (a roach) crawling on us in the middle of the night.

Der Pool und die Außenanlage sind Top. Die Betten im Schlafsaal (8 Betten) sind sehr komfortabel.

Kaffee für € 2.- , aber wenn man nur einen Fuß vor die Tür setzt, gibt es den Kaffee für € 0,60.- (bei der netten Dame an der Kreuzung)

Always a pleasure, we look forwards to our stays with the staff being a huge part of this

Nangkol village is our favourite place to stay in the whole city. We have been staying regularly for about a year now and it has become our home from home. The staff are always so welcoming that it feels like spending time with friends. Tola and Mo Mo are so friendly and greet us with a smile, they take the time to learn about us and chat whilst being fast and professional. Juny and Chanthea are always attentive and have beautiful manners. The food is affordable and Sophea is a great chef, we like the Amok and the fried breakfast. The team as a whole are part of what makes Nangkol such a lovely place with a brilliant atmosphere. Rooms are always spotless and ready on time, the cleaning staff are thorough and pay attention to detail. The rooms are comfortable with good showers, working air-con and huge beds. The pool is lovely and is nice to relax beside whilst drinking out favourite cocktails or cold beer. Overall, we love the place and never stay anywhere else when possible and recommend to all our friends!

Fantastic would recommend to anyone looking for a really good price and friendly staff.

The place is really well maintained and staff are very nice (they were even willing to accommodate a gluten free meal for us). Overall, I also think the price is very fair!!

Hardly any complaints, one thing I would’ve liked is to be able to bring outside food to eat in the lobby because although the hotel is also a bar/restaurant the rooms don’t have tables. So you either had to eat out or buy food at the hotel.

Exceeded expectations. Great place and location!

The pool area has such a nice vibe. Great place to chill, have a few drinks or some food. The room was pleasant and good value for money. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Tola especially! Sophia is great in the kitchen too!

Las fotos no reflejan la realidad

Las zonas comunes es lo único que merece la pena de este alojamiento.

La habitación 309 en la tercera planta era grande pero tenía un nido de palomas en el exterior junto a la pared y tuvimos ruido de patas y aleteo toda la noche. Al principio nos parecieron ratas andando. Las toallas tenian manchas y las sábanas tenían tierra.

Recommend the hostel!

Amazing hostel with great value. It is awesome having a pool in your hostel while still being in the city. The pool and common area are very beautiful. We unfortunately only stayed for 2 nights, but we ate dinner both nights at the hostel because both the western food and the Khmer food are very good! The entire staff was very nice and helpful, especially my brother Zola (I think was his name, sorry if I forgot it :'(..

J'ai upgrade pour une chambre privative avec salle de bains, au top

La chambre était spacieuse, avec une vue plutôt dégagée. Le lit est extrêmement confortable, vous n'aurez plus envie de le quitter et la salle de bain est spacieuse avec une paroi de douche ! Une clim est disponible dans la chambre.

Rien, cependant j'ai upgrade pour une chambre privative car j'avais réservé un lit en dortoir et que je n'ai pas été satisfaite. Les lits n'ont pas de rideaux pour les rendre plus "privatifs" et la clim ne fonctionnait pas dans celle que j'ai visité.
