Lovely check in assistance from Cynthia, as we knew we would be arriving late.

Had a good stay at Fireside Inn. Would stay again. Was on the edge of main drag of town - about a 30min walk. 10min walk to the beach down a trail behind the inn.
Only complaints were they minimally stock the Continental breakfast and rely on the guests to do an honor system of 1 item per guest. Twice the same family came through and wiped out almost everything before we could get food.
Other was the room we were in was right in front of the lobby and we had to ask people in the lobby who were using the tables to be quieter so the kids could fall asleep. (it was 10pm and they were loouudd).
Overall a good stay for the price. The staff was all incredibly friendly. They wash everything on the bed and you can tell. The decor is nice and everything feels really clean and new. We will absolutely stay again and just request a room on the end and not rely on the continental breakfast.

This place was fabulous with the only exception, “No Air conditioning”. The rest was great and we loved the outdoor fire pit area now with a bar and snack bar. Family friendly as well.

Owner terrific

Love the decor in the rooms. Fresh and clean.
The walls between rooms are a bit thin so easy to hear the loud non stop talking man next door until 11 pm.

Very nice and clean rooms, very friendly staff and easy check in and check out procedure! Made for a nice relaxing stay!

I forgot my Bose headphones in my room and the staff called me about returning them to me. I gave them the info needed and they sent them to me through the mail. I thought that was very nice and honest. Very commendable.

Super clean and comfy. Impeccable customer service.

Had noisy neighbors walls are thin, floor was gritty.
4.7
Rooms and bathroom were small. Noise could be heard through walls

Clean and inviting. Positive, friendly and helpful staff.
Enjoyed having an outside area to play a game or sit by a fire and roast marshmallows.

There was no one at the front desk when we arrived at 9:30pm, we found that they only have workers there til 7pm. My mistake on not checking the from desk hours but 7pm is fairly early for there not to be any workers We could not get a hold of the property manager and there was no way to leave a voicemail, so we were in a pickle trying to find a quick other place to book. We found that Adrift hotel had open rooms so I quickly booked on Expedia then of course, right after I clicked book I had received a text from Fireside Inn (this hotel) saying we were all checked in and just had to use a punch code. We talked to the staff at the Adrift hotel to try to quickly cancel so we could get a refund, they were happy to wave charges after we talked to Expedia. After calling Expedia they were able to contact the property manager at Adrift and I am receiving a full refund. I would have loved to stay at the Adrift for this reason particularly. Very accommodating staff and very happy with Expedia on their part. Fireside Inn did have nice rooms with a fire wall table which was quite nice. There was an outside area with a fire pit and bean bag toss which was a nice touch. Breakfast was very limited so this was a bit of a disappointment. However, the staff was very limited it seems and they were doing evrything they could to help people doing multiple tasks at once. If you plan to stay here just make sure you arrive before the front desk closes and make sure to check your texts.

Lower your expectations if you stay here. Not bad, but not great either. First and foremost, no air conditioning! Opening my first floor window (not ideal for security) and turning up the ceiling fan was only source of cooling… and it wasn’t sufficient. And the walls are paper thin. I clearly heard someone snoring in the next room all night long. Finally “breakfast” was a joke. Just a few lousy items, none of which is even remotely healthy or tasty.
4.7
The rooms are generous, the wall decor wonderful and fun, and the ease of entering the premises and room was super. Just enter a code provided via text before check-in. The only small issue was the bathroom shower is just not lowered enough from the floor, so water leaked into the toilet area. Not a deal breaker though.

Nice person at check in. Clean and pretty new. Walls very thin and our neighbors were Foghorn Leghorn rooming wit Yosemite Sam. So sleep was difficult. Also if advertising with complementary beverage, shouldn’t greet guests with “oh that starts in two weeks when the saloon is finished” nice enough but won’t return

Our stay was great. We visited friends and walked the beach. The hotel is fairly new and clean and cozy. Great location. I will definitely be back

Beware! Looks and acts all fine and dandy until you grab food items, have kids in a room with sand on the towels and getting check out with tyler in control. Was charged with a extra fee at check out without my knowledge. Called to get some answers and they ignored my calls, then texted me. Very unprofessional. They claimed we ruined their towels with the sand also said we left our room a mess when i picked the room up just needed to be swept and that my children ate to much food as he watched my children the whole time. We feel victimized by tyler and the check out staff and housekeeper for our room because we are of mixed race. So again beware! Families with children and families of mixed race they will come up with random problems somehow and someway. And don't get me started on those horrible beds. Only person of praise here is Rosa. Thats is all.

Nice and friendly front desk staff - they were great! Room was clean and very cute. Loved the electric fireplace! A little far to walk into town but that's okay. Only complaint was a musty smell in the room.

Enjoyed my stay second year staying here.
Always clean. Will be back.

We liked the clean modern look. The manager made a big deal about how the room had soundproofing. He failed to mention that the connecting door was hollow and created an echo chamber for the crying baby and loudmouth women in the next room. They stayed up late and the kid screamed until around 11pm. Then this morning at around 5am the robot vacuum came down the hall and bumped into every single wall and door all the way down. Once it reached the room next to us it woke up the kid who of course started screaming. So much for getting any restful sleep. We spoke to the lady at the front desk to just said she didn't turn it on and didn't know who did. Once last thing about customer service there, I was walking towards the front door with bags in both hands as one of the employees came out of the office, they couldn't be bothered to offer to open the door for me. I expect better for the amount of money we spent to stay there. We will not be returning and I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want any rest.
4.7
The stay was subpar. Our key code for the room didn’t work and we were given a physical key. The key code was supposed to open all the doors to the property and it did not. We were locked outside of the hotel on more than one occasion and had to wait for other guests staying there to open the door because there was nobody on site aside from a small amount of time in the morning. The ceiling fan was dirty so turning it on created a lot of dust and leaving it off wasn’t an option since the rooms don’t have AC and the window in our room didn’t have a screen. There weren’t any doggy bags on the grounds despite being told there were and the cherry on top is the $600 they’ve taken out of my account despite them telling me they’ve given me a refund twice. At this point even if there was something positive about this hotel it would be overshadowed by all of the negatives. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel. The Chautauqua is down the road behind them and they’re a safer bet.

Cozy and clean.. not very sound proff I could hear the neighboor rooms noise a little more than at other places.

Lovely place. Fantastic and very polite and accommodating staff. Front office wasn't very accessible and couldn't find phone number to call anyone which really was only issue there. Otherwise, great place.

very clean & spacious rooms

The property was immaculate and smelled totally neutral. All of the bedding including throw blankets are washed between each stay, which made us feel very safe and at ease.
The front desk was almost never staffed, but the manager was ready to reach via text for all of our needs. I asked for a toilet plunger and he responded probably within 2 minutes.
The location was convenient for walks to the beach, and not far from restaurants. It would have taken a few minutes to walk to the town's main drag, an easy distance, although we chose to drive.
They had neat and picturesque planters full of healthy tomato plants, which added charm.
There was no carpet in the rooms, which is a huge plus for me- much more sanitary. The metal bedsteads were creaky, which was a bit disturbing during the night, but not a dealbreaker in any way. I couldn't hear any noise at all from other guests, although apparently they were fully booked during our stay.
4.7
Hotel was clean and check in was a breeze. They texted me a room code so there was no need to check in at the front desk. Room was clean and comfortable. Loved it.
4.7
Very clean and well designed, everything felt fresh. Loved the hard floors, no carpet! A short walk to the beach or to restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if we are in the area again.

I found this newer place online and booked with them, and I was pleasantly surprised by everything I encountered. The staff was friendly, the place was spotless, and the location was perfect if you like being close enough to walk into town but far enough away to be out of the noise. It was a five-minute bike ride to the Discovery Trail, which was perfect. Breakfast isn't much, but I didn't really care since I had a nice refrigerator in my room. I didn't really check out the outdoor space (firepit), but based on my experience, I would definitely return. And the bed was really, really comfortable!

This was a great place to stay! Owner was really friendly and gave us a history lesson on the hotel.

Robert the office staff was great! Loved the breakfast had gluten-free options available for those of us that have an allergy. No hotel I have ever stayed at had gluten-free bread as an option(I just didn't use the toaster, I warmed my bread on a plate in the microwave)

"We recently stayed at this inn and had a mixed experience. Upon arrival, the room appeared clean, but we did notice a few areas that needed attention, such as the window seals and shower drain. We understand that mistakes can happen, especially during busy periods. We appreciated the effort made by the housekeeping staff, and we did leave a tip along with stripping the room to make there job easier.
We were surprised to find that the inn had a self-check-in process, which wasn't clearly communicated through Expedia. We had to search for our reservation number in our email to access the door code. Luckily, a friendly staff member helped us navigate the process. This could be simplified by connecting an automatically sent message linked with Expedia.
The inn's location is unusual, but we understand that this is beyond the owner's control. The small yard fire area was clean and a nice touch.
Overall, this inn is a good option for a short, budget-friendly stay. With some improvements in communication and attention to detail, it could be an even more enjoyable experience for guests. As someone who manages an inn myself, I understand the challenges and appreciate the efforts made by the staff." We booked this inn due to no availability where we normally stay.

The property was nicely decorated, simple, but not plain. Beds were a memory foam on a frame and comfortable. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Breakfast was just a basic contental, but for a little bite before heading out it works. Everything we came across was clean and working as it should.
