About this house rental
Longlook House is a stylish and luxurious 400-year old house located inside the walls of the Old Town in Dubrovnik and has a terrace with a stunning view over the Adriatic sea, the island of Lokrum, the city walls and the Srd mountain.
It has been restored and finished to high specifications including air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, LED HD TV and beautiful Brac stone radiators (for winter). It retains many of the original features such as exposed stone walls and wooden beams.
The house is located in a quiet location about 5-8 minutes walking distance from two of the entrances to the Old Town, Pile Gate or Ploce Gate, passing the famous street, Stradun, which is a 2 minute stroll from the house.
It is also only a few steps from a small gate in the old city wall leading out though to Buza II ('cold drinks' famous bar on the cliffs). There you can swim off the rocks in the crystal clear, turquoise water or enjoy a drink with breath taking views over the Adriatic and amazing sunsets. The nearest beach (Banje Beach) is located an 8 minute walk from the house, just outside Old Town.

Great location and property. Excellent communication from the property manager. We had our best time here and highly recommend it!

Four of us had a wonderful stay in this apartment in Old town. It is a lot of steps to get up there and it is worth it. The roof deck was a lovely place to hang out during the evenings and the days. Azra was incredibly helpful both before and during our stay. She helped us to arrange activities and shared tips on how to best navigate the city.

What a wonderful location and house. We loved every minute of it. Azra was always in communication and even allowed for a late check out. Kids loved jumping off the rocks and location was steps away from everything. We wish we had a longer stay and look forward to coming back, as this was our favorite stay.

We stayed in Dubrovnik old town for 3 days. This property is located within the walls of old town. There is a long walk from the drop off point and 80 steps to the property. Porter service is definitely recommended. They charge 15 euros/ bag between 9 am -6 pm and 25 euros/ bag out side those hours. Azra provides contact number for the porter service. The house was clean and nicely organized with all the amenities when we arrived.. We were surprised to find a bottle of wine in the fridge for us. Thank you Azra. Only thing to point out is within the house kitchen and small living area is on the ground level, a bed room and bathroom on first level and yet another room with bathroom and terrace on the second level. The location of the property is close to most of the things within old town which was very convenient. Azra was easily reachable by phone most of the time. We would definitely recommend this place. I wanted to clarify that the property amenities does not include a clothes dryer; just a washer and a portable line dryer.

Dubrovnik was an amazing city, and this was an amazing home base for exploration. It's tucked away deep into a quiet pedestrian area, steps away from a literal hole-in-the-(city)-walls bar that looks over the sea, and just a couple hundred twisting meters from Old Town's one and only grocery store.
Looking at the photos, you might ask, "does it really look like that?" On a nice spring day, it absolutely does. And, for the one stormy day we had, the place was nice and cozy. The setting is nothing short of amazing.
Our host was helpful and communicative via WhatsApp, and the stay logistics were super smooth.
I'm already dreaming about coming back.

Loved our get away amongst the Walled City. So nice to go back to our quiet retreat after touring and mingling amongst the hords of day time visitors. We were thankful to have the lovely deck to play cards and drink wine in the evening and drink coffee and wake up in the morning. Hosts were very responsive and gracious. House was spotless. Loved the good beds and pillows. We’d stay here again for sure.

We had a wonderful stay in this adorable place. It was perfect for our group of 3 adult friends. The place was clean and cute, the beds were comfy, and we loved having the deck. A wonderful location for exploring Dubrovnik and with an ocean view. The manager was responsive and clear in communications and helped us locate rides and porters to bring the luggage to our place (lots of stairs!). We didn't use the kitchen much but it seemed well-appointed, and we appreciated having a washing machine. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to loved ones.

Lovely house, well placed to enjoy the many sights and restaurants in the Old Town. We were 2 couples and we used the large terrace (with comfortable chairs) every afternoon and evening, enjoying the setting sun and the changing light - delightful. Azra was very helpful, responding promptly to any queries and organising taxis and porters

Our stay was great!
Azra helped with airport and porter transport, even though we arrived late in the evening.
We found the apartment wonderful, it’s really a beautiful place to stay.
Thank you Azra!

Location was good, town is small so everything is walkable. Nice terrace with view of the sea and islands. Fantastic help by Azra in arranging transportation, porters and drivers for excursions!

We arrived at airport : we took a taxi to pile gate. Beautiful city. We transported our own luggage . I wouldn’t recommended because it was as hard to learn city and it took us 68 year old woman a while to find. I overpacked as well . To many stairs in city : the accommodation was perfect however.

This apartment was everything that was described and more!.... nicely appointed kitchen and great terrace overlooking Old Town wall and Lokrum Island. The location was stunning being just a minute away from the Jesuit Stairs and heart of Old Town and a Buza Bar so close you don your swim trunks, walk a 100 feet and there you are able to have a drink with incredible views and/or jump in the Adriatic! Loved it!

We had a lovely stay at the apartment - it was well appointed with everything we needed, Check-in and out was a breeze. I highly recommend this well located apartment. It is steps away from Buza Bar - a literal hole in the wall - that has amazing views and a very young vibe. Be prepared, there are a LOT of steps from the water front and main city area up to the apartment. But you will not be disappointed in the view from the patio onto the island of Lokrum.
The apartment is quiet and we had restful sleep for our many adventures in Dubrovnik

We absolutely loved this property. So interesting and full of character . The location in the old town is perfect . Close to everything , the stunning and interesting view of Lokrum island and the wall by day , but really quiet at night . The 3 level accommodation with bathrooms on two separate floors really suited us giving us all some privacy. Air conditioning was really a lifesaver in the August heat .
We used the baggage transport company at ploce gate to help us get our big bags to the property.

The house has indeed been impeccably restored. It’s on three floors with bedrooms up one and up 2 short flights. Kitchen is spacious and complete. The washer was a real convenience and we were able to use the drying rack up on the 3rd floor deck. The deck, which is accessed through the top floor bedroom was a wonderful place to relax in the evening over a glass of wine. Azra, the property manager was a delight! Very accommodating and responsive. She helped us arrange for a porter (which BTW is essential!) we were just a few steps from the Buza Bar, overlooking the Adriatic. And many shops and restaurants were quite close (but with some steps to ascend and descend. Lovely place, great location. We would highly recommend!

What an opportunity to stay within the ancient walls of Dubrovnik. This apartment was so clean, and the air conditioning kept it very cool! Fully furnished with all things you might need, and having a washer for our clothes during a trip over 2 weeks long was so helpful.
The property manager was easy to get a hold of both prior to, and during our stay. It went as easy as it could!
My only surprise was the distance from the gate to the apt. If you have heavy luggage as we did, make sure not to go from the Pile Gate as the steps were killer! I missed that suggestion in their communication with us, so cannot hold it against them at all. It will be a bit of a hike no matter what, and suggest looking into a porter to take your bags. However, the only way to get the view that it offers is to climb high, just be prepared for it.
I highly suggest staying here if you're going to Dubrovnik..it really was a dream!

This property was beautiful. Very clean, great location and the view was great. Azra was more than helpful she was so accommodating and was so willing to share her information of the area. She offered to take us to the airport on our departure. Would love to return someday. Thanks for the memories

We had an outstanding stay at this property in Dubrovnik -- it really could not have been better.
The location was terrific with views of the sea and the town wall, and its central location made the ability to get anywhere in town quite easy.
The property manager was also incredibly quick to respond to any questions we had, and was a huge asset in assisting us with recommendations for transportation, logistics, etc. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would. We had great peace of mind during our stay.
The property had modern conveniences and was completely up to date. The A/C was awesome.
We highly recommend this property, the property manager, and the convenience its location offers within the old town's walls.
The only caution we would provide is one that applies anywhere inside of the old town: There are a LOT of steps, so best to be reasonably fit when visiting Dubrovnik.

Highly recommend this property if you want to stay in Old Town. Azra was very attentive and helpful and everything was perfect!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay in Dubrovnik! We loved being inside the old walls. The place is even nicer than it appears in the listing, with an even more gorgeous view from the terrace. I loved being able to shop in the plaza for fruit and vegetables from the vendors, bread from the bakery, and cheese and meat from the little stores, and also to be able to easily walk out for dinner. We were able to walk to the sea to swim from the apartment, and walk outside our door for a drink at the famous Buza Bar.
As many have noted, there are many stairs- 160 to be exact- from the plaza, and 60 more inside. If carrying luggage up many stairs might be a problem for you, I’d recommend asking Azra, the wonderful property manager, to set up a porter for you. She arranged it for our departure, and if I had known, I would have had it also arranged for our arrival.
I highly recommend this lovely apartment if you want to stay in Old Town!

We had a lovely time staying at this property ! The view from the upstairs porch was wonderful ! We enjoyed watching the people walking on the wall and of course the beautiful view of the sea. The property is very comfortable. Azra and her team were extremely helpful throughout our stay !

Super easy communication and check in, fantastic apartment just minutes from everything in old town, with an ocean view!

We loved the property and it's location! Only issue to be aware of is the overall amount of stairs and walking you need to do with your luggage to get to the property - beyond that it's idyllic.

This apartment was fabulous! Comfortable accommodations, nicely furnished, primo location within the Old City and literally “steps from The Steps” ( Cersei’s “Walk of Shame” steps, Game of Thrones). Also within a stone’s throw of the Buza Bar. The local contacts for this property were very helpful and made the entire experience a joy.
We recommend this property for a small family or 2 couples.

In September, 4 of us spent 6 nights at this newly renovated apartment. First off I have to say that Azra the property manager was so incredibly helpful all the way through our stay. Azra arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport and another ride to take us back. Gave us detailed instructions on how to navigate our way through the Old Town to our accommodations and was available for questions 24/7 - always getting back to us within half an hour! He made our stay as good as it possibly could have been. Thank you!! The apartment is situated in a great location and is very central to everything (grocery shopping, many restaurants, and shopping). It was very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable and very well stocked. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms brand new and spacious. There was lots of closets and storage areas for us to fully unpack. One of the many highlights was the outdoor space - it was accessed through the bedroom on the top floor and had beautiful views of the water, surrounding homes and part of the walk along the walls of the Old Town. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

It was so great to be in the Old Town part of Dubrovnik. Lots of stairs is an understatement, but that is true in all of Old Town! This place was clean and convenient and has a lovely patio upstairs. Easy to love it!.

The unit is everything we hoped for. Our host was very attentive and accommodating.
The unit, although 100’s of years old, is completely modernized and spotless. The deck off the top floor was an added bonus. Spectacular views of the water and the wall.
We loved Dubrovnik and would not hesitate to come back and enjoy our hosts hospitality again.

Traveling with my wife and daughter this was a fantastic 2 bedroom spot for us. Quiet location yet within steps of all Old Town attractions, the apartment is EXACTLY as advertised including the lovely little deck overlooking the sea. Azra was our House Manager and she was wonderful in every respect - timely and accurate communications, assistance with airport transfers, expert local advice etc. It all made for a great Dubrovnik experience.

We loved out stay. They were super great hosts, the apartment was decorated so beautifully and it felt so clean. We loved the location and already want to come back.

Perfect for two, three or four people. 100% as advertised. Azra the property manager is a 10/10. The information book is great with all the information you need. Near everything in Old Town.

We absolutely loved staying at this property. The house was very clean and well appointed. Close to everything. The manager, Azra, was one of the best property managers I’ve ever come across. She helped us with a porter for our luggage, airport transfers and lots of recommendations. It all made for an amazing trip to Dubrovnik!

The apartment was beautiful, functional, and convenient, but that's only half the story. Azra and Seno made the stay extra special, going above and beyond any other hosts we've had. I highly recommend this place and these hosts. You won't be disappointed.

From the terrace of Longlook we watched sunsets tinge the clouds salmon and the rising moon line the clouds with silver and silhouette the island of Lokrum. The ancient walls...the sparkling sea...the peeling church bells...all indelible sights and sounds. Longlook is within walking distance of everything - historic sites, intimate restaurants, and the Buza Bar, of course. There is no other place to stay in the Old City. The location of Longlook is surpassed only by the hospitality of its property managers, Azra and Senad. Their attention to every detail of our stay is what will keep us returning to Dubrovnik - and wishing we never left!
