St George’s is a modern and stylish detached holiday home, perfect for families or friends wanting to relax and explore the historic town of Sandwich and further afield. The house is located a short walk from the heart of the town centre, with its wide range of shops, restaurants and cafes, picturesque river, and many historic buildings. St George’s is also ideal for golfers with the three championship course of Royal St. George's, Prince's and Royal Cinque Ports just a few minutes drive away, and also for nature lovers who can enjoy the lovely river side, with trips to see the seals. A visit to the Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory is a great family day out, and for the more adventurous, there is the Whitemills Wake & Aqua Park. The house has a sociable open plan sitting / dining room with French doors onto the large garden, a games room with pool table and four bedrooms. An added bonus is private off-road parking for two cars, shared with the other two holiday homes – Fairway and 19th Hole. Neighbouring places well worth a visit, and a short drive away, are the historic medieval City of Canterbury with its iconic cathedral, the fishing town of Whitstable famous for its oysters, and the elegant coastal town of Deal with its long promenade and pier. Or why not leave the car behind and arrive by train as the station is a short walk from the house, and there are easy train links to neighbouring towns. All three houses – St George’s, Fairway and the adjoining property - 19th Hole, can be booked together, ideal for families wanting to holiday together but have their own space as well.
