About this apartment rental
This guest suite is in a modern French farmhouse that sits on its own private island. This listing is for the guest suite not the main house.
The private island is 0.7 Acres, next to the Independence Greenway bike path and the Crystal Lake Recreation area. This home was built to be private, airy, and spacious and surrounded by nature.
Come feed the swans and ducks. They’ll come to you when you go to the chair or closer to the water.
This is the guest suite of the main house, NOT the entire house. It is above the garage and is separated from the main house.
Property is on its own private island. Waterfront, has its own bridge to go over the water. You will not have access to the main house, but you will be annexed to it. Parking is in the space to the right of the garage. You might meet the owner if he’s home.
There are cameras monitoring the entire estate. Some activate once doors are open but there are no cameras in any private areas.
You will access through the garage, guest suite, ground level amenities like the grill, fire pit, all the outdoor furniture.
We have beach cruisers available for you to use. You can fish, kayak, bike, bird watch, hike and skate and ice skate in the winter.
I will be available remotely for anything you need. Reach out any time!
*Owner may be on the premises
The neighborhood is quiet with a lot of greenery. Lots of spaces to walk, jog, explore. The people are welcoming and local businesses give the feel of what movies portray as ‘country’ but in full on modern setting with a lot of creative real estate around. The people take good care of their lawns, homes, and enjoy the outdoors.

The location of the property, first of all, was amazing. We found a restaurant within walking distance that we loved so much that we ate there more than once during our trip! The views, from the back door to the front are so picturesque, perfect for our fall trip!

This space is situated in a beautiful area and very relaxing. There were a couple of issues with cleanliness but were fixed right away by the housekeeper while we were there. Unfortunately we battled mosquitoes inside of the room each night but the house is surrounded by water and it was hot outside.

Overall the place was as advertised. The only complaint was the door code was 8 digits which was too long to remember.
